WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY
That’s what I’m expecting. A solid entry for the Apes franchise. With room to grow, to improve, and to last long enough to keep up with the first trilogy. A solid 8/10.

@@Nanded12345 terrible pacing, movie clocks in at a 2 hours and 20 minutes. I’m all for long movies but they have to be engaging and offer something other than great visuals.
I’m not saying the movie is bad. But I’m also not saying it’s good. Middle of the road. Worth waiting to watch it on streaming

Yea this movie good but I kinda was getting sleepy during some scenes and I’m mad what they did raka. I wanted to hear more of him telling Noa about Caesar and what he’s done for apes it makes me feel something whenever I heard him talk someone who they worship as a their ape god

Just got home from the movie. I unfortunately found it to be incredibly narratively confused and just could not care about any of the characters
I loved it :) great characters, great story & the action was awesome. Cgi was impeccable.

haven’t seen the movie yet and don’t wanna watch the trailer past the first 20 seconds for fear of ruining the experience. but is this set up for another trilogy or is it just a standalone after the events of the last movies?
This is set up for a new trilogy, it is both a sequel to War and a Stand alone

Thinking back on it. It was good. Not great. Third act was kinda boring to me. You knew exactly what was going to happen the whole 1/3rd of the movie.
I gave it 3/5. It's ok.

The Maze Runer was a solid trilogy (he fucked the second movie big time. Is a mess.) The Maze Runer is pretty damn good for a young adult adptation. And Death Cure is a freaking great final movie. It added depth to the characters. The action was bigger and better. And all 3 movies have some damn good CGI. So I feel like this new trology is on good hands (as long as he doesn't make the same mistakes as on the middle chapter.)
I agree the characters aren’t as impactful as the previous trilogy…but they had 2-3 movies to develop, as will these new ones.
The story, though, is absolutely on par if not even MORE impactful with the direction it is heading (no spoilers) and definitely keeping this franchise as one of the best in all of sci-fi!!
Just came out after watching the new one - well it was long and boring with no emotional depth and action as the previous ones. We were all quite bored.
Meh, Hollywood just needs to let s@it end or a least let something rest for a long time. The last movie is only 7 years old.
I feel bad for not liking these movies. None of them. Not the old ones, the new ones and good god not that Mark Wahlberg piece of crap. They are just not my thing. It's the one sci-fi franchise I do not like at all. It's weird, because usually you put talking monkies in anything and I love it. Just not these. Dunno why.

So bad of film. It was for first grade intellects
of course it's not as good as The Apes Trilogy; that is one of the best ever...would be like saying The Hobbit is better than The Lord of the Rings Trilogy...that said, it is still great, and a worthy continuation of the world. All that matters.
