Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes are available on our Patreon now! www.patreon.com/collection/383258?view=expanded
Some other reactors first covered the Original 1968 Planet of the Apes. Old schmold.
Love these remakes but honestly the acting in the originals far surpasses these films. Mark Wahpberg & James Franco did a great job but are no Charleton Heston. Just submit & watch the original then post Cobra Kai 3-5
Cobra Kai 3-5 on You Tube / come on Normies
Yessss watch dawn of the planet of the apes
Also
War of the planet of the apes 😀😀😀😀
hopefully you’ll upload to youtube as i’m not on anybodys patreon . I’d love to see your reactions to Dawn and War. Rise, Dawn and War are masterpieces . I adore this trilogy and Caesar. Take care 😘🏴 #ApesTogetherStrong ❤️ #TeamCaesar ❤️ #TeamNoa&Raka (Kingdom) ❤️
My hero academia season 7 dropped btw
Chris was so right to shush everyone so they could all witness the No scene
The comments would not forgive them if they talked over 😭
Petition to have one person who has seen the movie be present from now on so they can shush the rest when necessary
He clutched it
@@ElProf Agreed. But we've seen that it doesn't always work. Mickey has seen The Office but he lets people talk over bits and then they'll be confused at the end
@@joevictor53but Mickey isn’t Chris…
Petition to have Chris watch stuff before the rest so he can make sure the others always pay attention at specific moments🤷🏾♂️😂
Honestly, this might be the most underrated Sci-Fi trilogy of all time.
right??? damn its so good
One of the most underrated trilogies, period. It's up there with the Lord of the Rings trilogy for me.
@@Journeyagain0absolutely.
@@Journeyagain0 Total agreement
@@Journeyagain0And HTTYD too, for me.
When Tom Felton said the “damn dirty apes” line, my audience laughed.
When Caesar said no, my audience fell silent.
same with mine instant quiet
Everyone I have known and seen reacting to this movie goes silent. That "NO!" just changes your whole perspective for the rest of the movie: these are not animals anymore.
That's the "Oh...we fucked up" silence
I legitimately forgot I was watching a Planet of the Apes movie up until that moment.
The owner walking in on the apes while they were planning a revolution and just him shrugging it off always makes me laugh.
That "NO!" is still one of the most visceral, shocking and jaw dropping scene for me. Like you can just feel a new history forming from just that one word, the reality you knew changing before your very eyes: These are no longer animals.
Whose review are you guys regurgitating? You’re like the third person to use that last line…
@@mobiusbelts3607 ok bro
@@paqap ok bro
Another layer to add. Apparently from the main minds behind these movies, speaking hurts the apes. Hence why they sign the majority of the time and the speaking is only ever used in high drama moments, at least until Caesar gets used to speaking fluently.
Couldn’t agree more. Even now, it’s still one of the most iconic shots in the whole franchise that I grew up with and I’ll remember it til the day I die. I look forward to see how far the Apes have come after the 3rd installment. Hard to believe it’s been 7 years since then. Apes Together Strong ✊🐵🦍🦧
Andy Serkis should’ve gotten a goddamn Oscar for this performance! Technicalities be damned. I’ve never heard such silence from pure shock in a theater as when Ceaser said NO.
I’ve recently watched this trilogy and I loved every single one and Andy Serkis as Ceaser was my favorite throughout.
Pat would hate those old ones.
Make him watch them.
Especially the Tim Burton remake- what a troll ending that was
@@ccricers It wouldn't have been a troll ending if they had green-lit a sequel.
FORCE him watch them.
@@ccricersIndeed, it's very Twilight Zone-y.
@@zacharybartolo5111I've always loved that ending just from the time displacement
- Everybody going "Oh no" when Caesar corrects the fork in Charles' hand
- Pat looking directly at the same scene as everybody else "what?"
Sometimes I feel like Pat has one single braincell that bounces around his skull like the DVD logo on a TV screen.
I love what Pat brings to the couch. But you're not wrong.
This is nearly every reaction.
Now I'm picturing Pat's face, looking completely confused, bouncing around a TV screen! 😂
And they put him in charge of.....HR
Imagine trying to watch a film with both Pat and Aaron from BlindWave.
Pat is so slow to get places lol its like he doesnt understand life itself😂
He's the first stupid Indian I've ever seen, I love him tho
I swear dude is so slow...
"NO!!!" doesn't matter how many times I see that scene, I get CHILLLLLLLS every time
> I like that Pat hates poachers, I wasn't prepared for that take
BUUUUUUURN.
> What girls fall for that?
I mean...nazis had wives.
There's someone out there for everyone. And I mean everyone. There are crazy women online who try to defend serial killers like Ted Bundy just because he was attractive.
A lot of people miss the mid-credits scene the first time, so I'm glad you reacted to it. I like the nods to the classic, not just the quote, but the TV news in the background talking about the astronauts getting stranded in space.
Seeing this in theaters when it first came out was WILD. I went in expecting a McDonald's burger of a movie and got served this Michelin star filet mignon of a film. Just blew me away.
I've never seen anyone use food as adjectives to describe a movie before... Bravo.
@@Cazammaf Haha thanks
Great timing.
I just saw that article about the orangutan using medicinal plants on it's wound and thought "I should rewatch Planet of the Apes"
Y'all did it for me.
Next hundred years or so they’ll be forming little towns. They’re already known for using stone tools right now as well.
Humans killed the Neanderthals because they got too intelligent, we'll do the same to the monkeys.
Yeah the said the apes have entered the stone age
Take a shot every time Pat calls them monkeys.

Anyone have a spare liver for me?

37:11 Caesar saying "NO!!!" was INSANE! Gets me every time.
Andy Serkis was incredible as Caesar
That “NO!” Gives me chills every. Single. Time.
Bruh..when Caesar says NO!!, gives me chills every time. Glad Chris quiet everyone when this scene was about to happen.
I loved this version of Planet of the Apes franchise. Can’t wait for you guys to react to both Dawn and War of the Planet of the Apes films
Same here. I liked the original film, but this trilogy made me a fan of the franchise.
18:50
Rana: 😱😱😱😱
Chris: You slithered off the couch, sit you ass down
😂😂
OMG! Pat should NOT be reacting on movies or series like this! It seems they’re WAAAY TOO deep for his understanding.
These movies are all really well done. I feel like this franchise doesn’t reverberate through the pop culture “discourse” or whatever until a new one comes out and people are like “oh yeah love those movies!”
I think Pat would find a discussion on Nazi experimentation very illuminating.
He even said we are superior, he gives me supremacist vibes
First time watching this movie in the theater and the audience in my theater laughed when that, "Take your hands off me you damn dirty ape", everyone burst out laughing.
And than when Ceasar gave that loud, "No!", everyone went dead silent. You could hear a pin drop and that silence was like "OHHHH SH*T".
Nah you guys dont understand the silence that fell on the theatre when Ceasar yelled 'NO' is one of the most chilling moments I've experienced. I could hear my heartbeat yall 😭
“You WILL be quoted” -Marketa, 2024
Rana sliding off the couch is a hilarious visual gag, not sure if it was intentional. Chris was a wonderful shaman for a wonderful movie.
A movie’s age doesn’t determine quality, the original Apes film from ‘68 is one of the best sci-fi films ever made, this trilogy is also very good.
Rod Serling built media that lasts
Best science for that time, sure. Only boomers act like it holds up.
So true, even tho older movies have a different tone to them that we are used to, these series is still really good.
BBOOMER
So Tru my nan introduced me to the original as I was geek n loved to read. it's written so well. I am from the 90s and no one rememberd it other than older ppl I also watched Dune years ago that was amazing . Scared to watch the remakes but I heard good things lol still love how different eras have different vibes. 👍😇
Pat trying his hardest, don't blame his brain cell
This came out the same year as X-Men: First Class, which was also a prequel reboot. Both deal w/ the concept of a new species having the potential to replace human beings. Caesar's & Koba's point-of-views also parallel those of Xavier's & Magneto's. Crossover? lol
I was just thinking the same thing! The comparison, not the crossover, haha!
This trilogy is amazing, some of the best Science-fiction films out there. And Ceaser is a fantastic protagonist.
This trilogy is amazing man. I liked the original film, but this trilogy made me a fan of the franchise. I'm excited for the new film coming up.
Lmao good shit Chris. If you hadn't shushed them before the "NO!" scene then there would've been a riot in the comments. 😂😂
Baby Caesar's so goddamn cute. 😭🥰
He is!!
OLD CAESAR: "one way out, One Way Out, ONE WAY OUT!"
PLEASE don’t have Pat reacting to the sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Leave him at home.
Rana’s round bottom
28:59
Rana and Marketa: 😢
Chris: I’m sorry I made you guys watch this sad movie. I’m sorry I’m enjoying this 😏
The shot of Ceasar on the horse coming out of the fog. Good stuff.
3:15 I'm with Chris. I didn't not expect that from Pat 😅
44:12 "My soldiers rage" rana i got you with AOT reference 😭🤙🏾
“Poachers I hate these mother fuckers” - Pat
We got a few days, before kingdom of the planet of the apes!! 🔥🔥🔥
I LOVE that you guys are all watching these, now. And I LOVE that Chris seems to be eating this shit UP as much as I do! His reaction to Caesar's first word was mine, EVERY. DAMN. TIME.
If you pay attention to all the news stuff in the background there is talk about a space shuttle and it's crew missing? A call back to the original movie.
Hopefully they do the time displacement thing in the movies coming up .
Time travel
You guys are gonna love this trilogy before kingdom comes out
My issue is that the cure they came up with for Alzheimer's still basically worked. For five years. Why was it kept secret.
I’m at the gym watching on my phone and this same movie is on the gym tv at the same time. META lol
Technically, this trilogy is the prequel to the 1960/70s films so they’re doing it in chronological order
Sort of....
I think Chris is trying to keep this from the rest of the group as much as possible.
They are??? But the original movies go back and show where Caesar comes from, his coming to power, and the creation of the ape civilization. I mean his parents are very specific and important characters in the original films. His origins are completely different than in these newer films.
Not exactly. It's kind of a prequel reboot because there are elements of the story that conflict with the explanation of how the apes rose in the original movies. They may try to merge the plot together at some point but at the moment the two stories are kind of taking place in alternate universes. I hope they do tie them together though.
@@sharkmedia5969 it's a prequel and reboot you said it best
Pretty sure pat is the dude who intentionally says monkey after being corrected.
Pat is so Pat!!! First he's like kill the humans. then later he's like ...so y'all want them to kill the humans? lol
I just said why is he arguing both sides , pick a side mf 😭
He only picks sides when one's stronger when the other. I personally don't like Pat, but he does make me laugh every now and then.
@@joeldean2706 He's funny sometimes but for the most part I just can't take him seriously.
@@Dennis_K09 yeah same here
This is a great trilogy (even if I have some issues with the third movie).
Cesar is amazing but Maurice is the fucking GOAT.
One of my favorite minor moments is the end of the trilogy when Maurice has this huge smile on his face. It felt so earned. Maurice is the ride or die of the trilogy.
Ape stupid
As someone who watched the original films as a kid, I would LOVE if you guys checked out those films after this newer installation. Either way, you guys are really entertaining to watch, and just seem like generally cool people. Keep it up!
19:27 it’s like some kids who have a hard time adjusting to going to school for the first time when all they’ve known is home with mom, dad, siblings, etc.
"I like that Pat hates poachers, I wasn't expecting that take but I love it." Me too honestly. I'm such an animal lover so I hate Poachers so much.
Chris has the most fun in these movie reactions by knowing the deets. 🤣
Someone commented awhile back it's annoying him being a know it all. I'm like bro we're all here for this. We should want them to know facts and little details. Especially when most things he says you didn't know before 😅 yes say all the things 😭
@@cjjackson2423 Sure, but he should wait to explain things until the movie is done, they already talk to much and miss stuff without him being a trivia boy anyway.

Pat REALLY likes thinking like a villain. It’s almost concerning lmao
It's great not boring like the others and he is authentic , what the others would truly do in a real life situation.
@@josecanal7556 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@josecanal7556yeah alright
Just wait till he sees Dawn, maybe that’ll change his viewpoint on the specific villain of that movie

Omg yes, this is one of my favorite remakes. I haven't seen the new one yet, but I want to
Only gripe with this series....No Oscar Nomination for Andy Serkis.
Finally reacting to something interesting like back in the days🙏🙏🙏
I was a huge fan of the original saga as a kid. Watched all five movies when I was in middle school. I remember being so hyped for this movie when it came out (I was a junior in high school) Let me tell you, I was VIBRATING in the theater for the whole third act. This was up there with watching Endgame opening night as far as theater experiences for me.
Ceaser doesn't want to kill humans, he just wants his kind to be free and left alone to live. But of course, humans can't leave shit alone and will keep pushing them. The next few films are honestly sad but beautiful in a way. Also I love how Maurice was already smart to begin with.
Hard to watch when it’s clear at 7 Caesar is multiple times as smart as one of the reactors
Chris being so excited about their reactions throughout is my fave but especially at like at 6:11 it's my favourite thing hahaha I love him
37:10 I had the chance like many others to watch this movie in theater. The reaction at the "NOO !!" scene was kinda the same but with many more people. A rare and good moment only cinema can bring.
Overall a great re-intepretation of the original movies / book
Bro said “ imagine waking up and saying whoa fu*k I think “ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭 im in tears
18:51 rana having a freak out over Draco is so funny 😂
Pat is so.. Pat, lol

Hey this probably won’t get attention nor you probably don’t remember me, but I’m the guy from Indianapolis Pop Con, with the Samurai T-shirt talking about guitars. These movies are so good and I can’t wait to see more! You guys are amazing!👍👍
This is my favorite of the modern trilogy, it’s fun seeing apes in modern society and seeing Caesar go form a kid to a leader
The girl in the green button knows this isn't a documentary right? She's took that movie pretty personal lol
One of the best trilogies of the modern era, especially the first movie
Love that they’re getting shown some love and appreciation on RUclips
😎😇😊
We appreciate Chris shushing the group for the "No" scene. One of the best scenes in this movie 👍
The opening infographic scene in dawn of the planet of the apes is straight up terrifying, and it became even more so in the recent years.
The Original Planet of the Apes 1968 Series is worth exploring. I would suggest you give it a try and express your thoughts and opinions.
Pat HAS to be trying to piss everyone off
Yeah I do not know why they invited him to only ruin people’s reactions on beloved movies like he did with the Harry Potter movies. They have a lot of people in the Normies headquarters who I bet have never seen this triology but choose Pat, like why ?
He's just him we gotta except it like everyone else 😄
Oh hell yea🔥...I really hope you guys upload this trilogy fairly fast🤞🏼😂
I'm already ready for the 2nd movie 😭
@@cjjackson2423 The best one, SO many great badass Caesar moments that make you go😳🔥FUCK! Rana's Reaction to Draco fking Malfoy 😂❤
Pat hating poachers, and Chris's response of shock... just like, "Wait, did Pat just have a *good* opinion? What world did I multiverse-slip into?!" 😂
42:13 Pat just let ya know chief that’s kinda of a dangerous way of thinking. Ya know the U.S. in 1600’s and all also let’s not mention the Group that started with N and end with I that also thought the same way
Now leftist students feel that way.
can't wait for you guys to watch the other movies. this movie series is so good. cesar is such a great character.
Just in case you're curious, the reason that Caesar was in the room looking a Will and his girlfriend was because he thought the grandpa would be there. He realized that he's dead, and wasn't able to be there.
This trilogy is a masterpiece, up there with the greats like Lord of the Rings. I hope Rana and everyone else on the couch will come back for the next two because they’re phenomenal!
the 2011-2017 trilogy was peakkkkk, one of my childhood faves and i love dawn of the apes the most
They keep expecting Ceasar to want humans dead, it's so funny, he's the most sympathetic toward the humans of all the apes lol
Chris wilding for that Chappell line 😂
Marketa's like what? 😭
Rise: "NO!!!"
Dawn: "GO!!!"
War: "LEAVE HIM!!!"
Kingdom: "WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!"
Congo was a great movie with the sign language gorilla the costumes looked great and it had the actor that played the dad from wild thornberries in it as a bad guy
I still get chills from that airplane credit scene cause it aged horrifyingly well considering we survived an actual pandemic
That Pilot is going to the Captain & Crew Lounge, to have a chat with the crews of other international fights.
You're gonna love the trilogy
Trust me, if you enjoy watching classics, you should go for the older series. Charlton Heston might be the big name you hear when people talk about oldschool Planet of the Apes, but in my humble opinion, Roddy McDowall is what really shines on these older movies with some wonderful performances.
I’ve watched this movie like 8 times myself and at least 10 RUclips reactions and this is the first time I ever saw Caesar give a nod to Koba to kill jacobs. Wow
"he should be in a lab" is the cesar version of "she should be at the club" lmao
What the chances yall do the same movies as a few other reactors at the same time? 🤔🤣
Great reaction, this was so much fun! 😃 Can't wait for the next one!
I haven't watched it yet but the comments are making me want to just to see how Pat is reacting 😅

The planet of the apes series is super underrated. Can’t wait for yall to watch the rest.
How is it underrated?
Chris, I feel your pain 😢 nobody seems to respect the monkey-ape distinction 😂
This film is packed with references to the original '68 film. Examples: the orangutan Maurice was named after actor Maurice Evans, who played Dr. Zaius in the first two movies. David Oyelowo's character, Jacobs, was named after the producer of the original franchise, Arthur P. Jacobs. And Franklin, played by Tyler Labine, was taken from the original film's director, Franklin J. Schaffner.
