Team or Communication: Types of SharePoint Sites

Besides team site and communication site, are there other "levels" of Sharepoint or like a premium tier? I have seen other company intranets that look more customizable or professional with different web parts than is available on ours. We use the Modern Communication sites

Communication and Team Sites are the primary types of sites when you are talking about SharePoint Intranets. There are a number of 3rd party components and products that can be installed on top of SharePoint. It is possible that is what you have seen on other sites. If you want to know what the best you can do with out of the box SharePoint I would recommend you check out the SharePoint look book from Microsoft. lookbook.microsoft.com/
