To hear the Nascars in person is eye opening. Also, the sense of speed is way different than on TV. Went to many races early on when the classic racers were still racing, Dale Ernhart, Bobby Labonte, Mark Martin, Bill Elliot, Davey Allison to name a few. Went to several of the races at Sonoma in CA.
