We love our 2019 567. We have the Paccar drivetrain in our rig. We are grateful for our 13 litre engine as our GVW is between 41 and 43k. We transport new RVs from Indiana and go west. My wife and I run team. I drive 500 and she drives 500. We sit home during the winter as we feel it is time to let the younger whipper snappers have the enjoyment of driving in the snow and ice. The good thing about sitting home is we dont worry about the high dollar equipment payment as our truck and trailer have 0 debt on them. Titles are in the house. Love the green paint. It sticks out. FYI, your dispatcher can tell you what your codes are, if you get a code. I work for Oakley also and Hunter showed me which I love that.. love your truck.

Set up really nice.. few things I do 't like the few switches are hard to reach on the left side of the steering wheel, I wish they had put an upper window in case you had an upper bunk...it would give some ventilation and breeze to the person sleeping up there. And brighter headlights. Semper Fi! They make an 80-inch sleeper. I believe the t680 is only 76 inches. I drove a lime green pete 579 I liked it.

Good morning, great looking new truck. It's always fun moving trucks. I got a new company truck a few weeks ago. Took me a few hrs to move everything over as well. One issue I noticed, if you're iPad is going to be used for your ELD. It has to be on a hard mount. D.O.T. will give you a ticket for the cup phone holder. If they are in a mood. Just looking out. Enjoy the new truck.
Beautiful rig. I'll keep running the glider for now but new rigs are great. I have been looking online and like the Western Star 49X since you still get a 13 speed and real dials and gauges. The full sleeper door with outside release is the greatest for loading and unloading groceries, laundry etc
They were calling for -4 Monday night here. But that's changing about every hour. Also snow Sunday and Monday. So little rock will be rocking the snow also. Way to go on the new ride. That's one of the sharpest truck built by Peterbilt now.
The dash pops apart really easily staring with the panel in the middle with the switches and brake knobs. I run my gps cord out of the cigarette lighter and up through the dash and out the top. Also minimizer floor mats. Option 1 from raneys, those are what they call gra-mag seats. Factory floor mats fit really nicely over the top of them and they’ll keep mud and other stuff out of the carpet much better than those stock mats
Man oh man is that rig gonna look sweet hooked up to that shiny new pneumatic trailer you got! Is that bunk rug custom fit from peterbilt? If you want to change over to custom fit whole interior check out minimizer floor mats!! Safe travels back to the rock!

I can't imagine what yours is going to do.

I like it but but couldn't sleep knowing i owed that much $$$$. But the Cummins? people talk trash about them. I drove for my family's company part-time on and off the last few yrs. I drove a guys stuck Mack dump truck ,while he pushed it out with track machine. Maybe 500 ft. First time i ever drove a truck that wasn't Cummins power in 33 years. I didn't drive long distances hauled heavy equipment. Maybe i babied them ,but never had a catastrophic breakdown. Just ac problems a rear-end gear normal expected parts falling off, no engine failure .
Right on. Maintenance was killing me. The payment is far cheaper than what I was losing. Pure financial business decision. Thanks for watching and reaching out.
