- Thank you everyone who chimed in on yesterday's video and helped me
decide to move forward with the install of the HeliBar Risers moving the

Awesome Mike... I love mine!
I cannot wait to see your pics from that trip man. Thank you for another great vid🙏
Thanks Philip !!
Excellent video. I enjoyed watching and Glide I subscribed. I’ve only been a Goldwing owner for a few weeks now and clueless.
Excellent video. Thank you my fine sir.
Thank you Jeff and thanks for watching! Ride Safe.
Looked at a 2023 Tour Wing today. They are nice! Beautiful photos BTW!
Thank you!
Great job Robert, looking forward to seeing your next video of the Pharaoh islands
Thanks for watching Michael !!
Thanks again Robert, As i'm only 5"8 i think the Heli spacers will be the way to go for me too. Thanks again for sharing. Only 2 days til i get mine!
Tang thank you. Post pictures somewhere and congrats!
Very nice install, my friend. I recommend to anyone who wants a set, ride the bike the way it is for awhile, then install it. Its not for every rider. I have long arms and I still love this kit. It will not come off. A small tip for you, put a drop of RTV on the plastic cap inner legs and you will not loose them. I also, light coated the mounting bolt heads with Marine Grease. They do rust a bit.
Al thanks for the tip.. RTV ?
@@robertwhitemoto Yes...Black RTV. Just a coating on those plastic tabs and push them back in. They will not get loose. if you need to remove them, a small screwdriver will pop them. You can, also use GE, outdoor silicon caulk. You don't need much and they will dry and keep them in. They do fall off for many.
Another great video Robert. Good job showing and describing the install. I love the stunning photos in your intro btw. Safe travels on your upcoming trip. God Bless
Thank you Spivey, I’ve been blessed to visit and capture a good number of beautiful locations and creatures! Adding more next week :-)
Thank you for watching!
Good job on install Robert! Hope you’ll enjoy them!
Thank you BJ ! Ride Safe.
Congrats. That is a nice clean install. I bet you will love the new riding position. You did a great job on the video. Stay safe.
Thank you! Looking forward to the riding position!
Great video robert. LOL...RIGHT vs. LEFT. :)
Thanks Norris… my brain was stuck and you don’t realize you are doing it while rolling video. :-)
100% Robert. Organized and clean install. Way to go! Additionally, helping enhance the seating/riding position was adding a backrest. I love my Show Chrome 52-920 Quick Detach Adjustable Backrest. Others like the Utopia. Both are excellent. I’ve sat with and scrutinized both before deciding. IMHO, the Show Chrome with it’s angular and stitching design complimented the bike’s angular lines nicely. Great that there are choices. Your bike looks amazing. The color really pops. Coming along great. Good job.
Thanks RG!! A back rest is on my radar. Good info. I’ve heard a lot about the Utopia, not so much on the show chrome. Thank you for the kind words and the views!
Wow, that was way better than the FJR, and that looks really nice. Hope you like the new position it puts you in, I love what it did for me. Enjoy your trip!
Thank you !!
I've seen other videos of people cutting that cover and it looked awful. If I decide to get the HeliBar Risers I'm not going to put the cover back on the bike. I'm thinking about getting the HeliBars Adjustable Horizon SST Handlebars .
I think Chris Caliente put those on his bike… very adjustable! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Any comments now after a few rides on position improvement?
K, I love them… short guy with short arms, this made a ton of difference and no drawbacks that I’ve seen. I’ve forgotten how they use to be!
Hi Robert . I also ended up fitting my bar risers yesterday. They are a “ dual” position riser . I think they’re not Heli make but look the same . They have brought my bars back at least 2” or a bit more . I’m only 5’4” but to be honest I was quite happy with the stock riding position but this new position will help. One thing I may recommend to you is to get a riders back rest . It makes a big difference 👍
Phil thank you for watching and commenting. I do plan to get a backrest soon.
Think I'm going to get some for my '94 GL1500 SE
They’ve improved riding for this short guy 👍🏻🙂. Thanks for watching Mike.
Hope the adjusted riding position helps you out
Really glad I have long arm
Thanks for watching Rob… it does feel a little more comfortable :-)
Hi Robert, Thanks for the great video . I am 5 ‘5’ and I have shoulder and neck pain riding 2023 Goldwing DCT. I am in a dilemma like whether I should go for the same Helibars , you installed, or the costlier option of replacing handle bar with Horizon SST Helibars which is costing $799. Can I know your height please and what’s your post install feedback with the rides ..
Thank you for reaching out. I am 5’9” and I love the positive now. Much better for me !
Where did you buy these ?
Rob, I got them from WingStuff
