    I hope this helps you all understand the pros and cons of a couple handle bar options. I used to ride with racing clip-ons for years and it was great, more aerodynamics and better feel when riding aggressively. But now I just want to be more comfortable and with the skills I've acquired over the years of riding, I no longer feel the need to be so hunched over. Let me know what you think!

      I am the same, i am almost mid 50s want a little more comftable ride, is the reason i love my 500r . the confort is great while have the power...,., i want to do this to my 600rr for comfort, the ones that come with the bike are horrible ride. i have a wide back and feel very unfomtable riding.
      Thank you for the vid it helped me out alot.

    As a Finn my head is spinning trying to understand the measures, first it's two feet, eight inches and three quarters. Okay google couldn't translate it directly into cm but okay, the approximate value is clear. After changing the clip-ons it's suddenly 33 something and a quarter, almost gave up watching there xD But in the end I did get the measures and video was very helpful, thanks!
    Heights in centimeters:
    Original: 83,19 cm
    Adjustable: 83,19 cm - 85,73 cm
    Heli rised: 88,27 cm

    Me and my dad we're trying to decipher which transmission forks in my 2008 ZZR weren't working very well. 2nd to 3rd & 5th to 6th both while driving.
    And he laid in the floor under the bike up in the air while I spun the rear tire and upshifted the foot lever up all gears and back down by hand twice.
    Clutch cover gone and oil pan removed as well so seeing the gears and forks moving would hopefully tell us what's going on. After doing this twice the selector drum is stuck now and won't do anything but go into first and back up to neutral and into second gear that's it. Absolutely won't upshift into the rest of the gears. We're both completely confused. Was trying to identify which fork to remove once my clutch basket removal tool shows up from EBC. Did something get out of syncro while spinning by hand?

      Everything is working great. They are super adjustable so should work for your bike. Also Heli Bars are Bike specific and should plug and play.

    I just checked out the Triumph 1200 speed triple RS I really want that bike the problem I would need a chiropractor within the first 5 minutes it's real bad way too aggressive body position the handlebars need to come way up and towards me are there any clip ons available for that bike so I can purchase it

    • @Albertalorian
      @Albertalorian Год назад

      You can use the Renthal 0 Degree Universal ones, you just have to drill all the mounting holes, and figure out the sweep to clear the fairing.

    • @richardcerritelli9657
      @richardcerritelli9657 Год назад

      @@Albertalorian you know what I don't understand why they make these freaking bikes this aggressive when you say it's because they're more stable at high speeds that's bullshit because I road a ZX10 with ABM high Riser bars they were six inches above and about 2 inches towards me wow it was beautiful the bike handle every bit as good as the regular aggressive way in top speed I got up to 160 no problem at all I think they do it on purpose so people buy aftermarket bars.

    • @Albertalorian
      @Albertalorian Год назад

      @@richardcerritelli9657 after playing with bikes for 28+ years, I’ve come to the conclusion it’s all about trends. Some manufactures are just obsessed with absolute performance and aggressive riding positions. That way they can win super stock races and magazine shootouts. Yamaha and Triumph are notorious for this. Ducati used to be in this mindset, but once they went V4, they have now shifted to street manners (never thought I would say Ducati and Street Manners in the same sentence lol). Suzuki and Kawasaki are the middle ground, and BMW is the most comfortable sports bikes stock.

      I finally started riding that bike again about a month ago. I like em, but honestly my favorite are the race bars that rotate to adjust angle. Those seem to be the most personalizable, and I reduce pressure points.

    Any tall gents in here?
    I have a 2015 R6 and am 6'2". I have this feeling of always leaning forward, especially down hill breaking. I'm looking at the Helibars as well as a new seat.
    I aim to track the bike 5 times this next season

    • @motomecha530
      @motomecha530  9 месяцев назад

      The Heli bars (or any bar risers) will help a lot and honestly fine for the track as well, unless you'll be racing and trying to be competitive. Lower bars = better aerodynamics...

    • @Albertalorian
      @Albertalorian Год назад +2

      @@jakeR1954rr The Vortex are a more agressive rise and sweep than the helibars, and are also wider and require drilling the mouting holes for all the switch gear. The Helibars are higher, more forward swept, and 100% bolt on with no modifications to the bike (you make have to loosen a bolt or line, adjust then retighten, nothing major). I work on a lot of bikes, and I always recommend Helibars Trackstars for sportbikes, I also have them on my Personal 2016 ZX10R KRT. I'm looking at a 2023 R1, and if I go for it, I will have the Helibars on order, before I pickup the bike.
