Got impaktek 4inch riser clip ons, at full rise it’s very comfy, but the thing is I feel these bikes (supers-port, zx6r in my case) handle much better with the clip ons in the regular position. Despite how tedious it can be on the street. I’ve since bought a 1000sx which is very comfy, so I’m considering putting my clip ons on my zx6r back to more of a race setting. , I’ve learned height doesn’t change the reach near as much as cant , I have them at 0 degrees , if I go to 7 or more , it really changes the reach, but I feel it makes the bike maneuver better especially on sharp street turns where you gotta be careful due to gravel and water.
I prefer the 7 to the 0 as well. IMO if you plan to ride the bike aggressively or on the track at all they are a much better option. The risers transform a sportbike into more of a sport touring bike. - Van
Hey Brian, great video. Quick question: I'm 6' 2" and plan to get clip ons for a 15+ R1. Is there a particular clip on brand you recommend? Looking at the multiple options out there for the bike, it's difficult to distinguish which would be best for me. Thank you.
Well that really depends on what you are looking to do. If you need to raise the bars take a look at the Woodcraft riser clip ons or the Helibars which are adjustable. Now if you are looking for a standard set of race clip ons Driven, Attack, Woodcraft and Vortex all make nice parts. - Van
I just bought a 2019 Triumph speed twin, and I'm considering modifying it by installing clip ons in order to lower my riding position. My takeaway from your video is that it's not at all a simple modification. That said, the shop quoted me $700 for parts and labor for that installation, which seems exorbitant. Any thoughts on which bars are best for that model, whether that quote seems right, and whether or not I should simply install them myself? At the very least I would like to procure the bars myself in order to keep the costs under control. I'm 5'9", 190 lbs, and have very long arms (6'3" wingspan), in case that affects your answer. Thanks for your input.

Thinking of finding clipons for a 2021 nc750x non-dct any advice?
Sorry I am not aware of any clip ons produced for this model. - Van
Brian I have a 18 R6 and will be purchasing clip ons in a few days.
Question is how did the bike feel with the attack clip ons to the vortex. And which one would you run for a track only bike
If you need the bars to be closer to you then the Attack are the way to go. If you are happy with the reach to the OEM bars the Vortex are the way to go. Also important to note the Attack are a little tougher to install because they really strain the limits of the throttle cables and such with every model being a little different. - Van
Hi I have a 2001 tL1000s with a short reach . I’d like to find something, a kit possibly, to bring back an inch or two to the handlebars. Have any suggestions for me? Thanks

I was wondering, does anyone makes clip-ons for a KTM rc390 with a longer reach? I can't get my elbows tucked in ahead of my knees and would like to move the bars forward an inch or two. Thanks for all the great content.
Sorry I am not aware of any KTM 390 specific clip ons. - Van
very very informal, thank you.
You are welcome and thank you for watching! - Van
I have a heavily modded 2007 R1 and am getting very bad neck pain when riding, what is the best option to raise the handlebars please? Do you sell anything for a 2007 R1, that would raise the bars to a more upright position please?
This is the most radical option but will get the bars up there and make it comfortable:
ABM Yamaha YZF-R1 2007-08 Handlebar Riser Kit
www.sportbiketrackgear.com/abm-yamaha-yzf-r1-2007-08-handlebar-riser-kit/
These are also pretty sweet while being a little less radical in terms of rise and change:
Helibars for Yamaha R1 04-08

09 honda 600rr, 41mm fork.. but that is the bottom tube, what size clip-ons will I need for my bike?
You will need the 48mm Woodcraft 1 Inch Riser Clip-Ons. Here is a link to them on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft-1-inch-riser-clip-ons/ - Van
How do you measure your fork size?
@@3v1k1 just call and tell them what size bike you have. they have the answers.
Hi there, Hoping you might give me some advice.. I have a Gsxr 750 L9. I'm about 6ft and I find the position of the front brake lever a little too high. When riding in traffic I like to keep a finger or two on the front brake, but because the lever is slightly high I have to lift my fingers and this is uncomfortable. I tried rotating the lever down, but there is no room to move it as the brake lines contact the top of the fork. Would longer clip ons allow me to move the lever outward to get clearance for the brake line? If so, what clip on would you recommend? Thanks!
Hey Van Im 5'5" I just bought a 2005 Yamaha R6 with stock handlebar I have short arms and its hurting my arm and neck is WOodcraft handlebar riser clipons good for me or will it help me? Thanks -Van.
Woodcraft risers will help get the bars closer to you and should help. Important to note with the stock cables, brake line and electrical you can only move things so far before you will need to start modifying other shit. - Van
Man I’m a new rider n need new clips one for my ZX6R 2013 but I’m getting a headache tryinna figure this out
On that bike I would go with the Woodcraft 3 piece split clip ons. Here is a link to them on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft-3-piece-split-clip-ons/ - Van
I have an aprilia rs 660 and was thinking about clip ons for it, but wanted them to stay higher up like they are from factory to keep it comfortable on the street. Would you have any suggestions for me?
I would take a look at the Woodcraft riser clip ons. Here is a link to them on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft/?_bc_fsnf=1&Product=Clip-Ons
Is this compatible with 2021 Kawasaki ninja 650 abs?
You will need the Woodcraft 12-7741-78BK1 clip ons. We do not have these on our site but can get them for you. Please shoot the team an email to orders@sportbiketrackgear.com and the team will help you get the order placed. - Van
Hey this is quite an old video. However, I have an 09 Ninja 650R, it's a pretty stand up(sport-touring) bike. Is there any way, using clip ons, to get a lower stance on the bike, or am I out of luck ?
You can install clip ons with this model but you will most likely have to make some modifications to the OEM bodywork in order to get them to fit. - Van
Which is better for Honda Cb125 1985
Sorry I am not familiar with that model and not sure if there is a set that will fit it. - Van
will they work on gsxr 1000 2017 road bike?
You can install clip ons on a 2017 GSXR1000 that is ridden on the road if you like. For this model a standard set will fit without any modifications. (no riser with a standard offset) - Van
Hey any recommendations for a hayabusa ?
Sorry we do not really have a lot of Busa experience here. - Van
Hey there, nice video tho. I was wondering i have a K4 sv 650 S in middle of Track preparation here and the stock clip ons are raised, but too much at my taste. Things is i can't put standard non raised clip ons aswell because even the racefairings interfere. So i was wondering if u know some brands that makes like 1inch raised clip ons and all ;)
Woodcraft 1 Inch Riser Clip-Ons www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft-1-inch-riser-clip-ons/
I run my SV naked with no rise clip ons I love it
@@delkevic6577 Ok nice, i actually though about going with BB plastics fairings, so that i can put non raised clip-ons
I need either that shop shirt or that hoodie in the thumbnail. Any chance they're for sale Brian?
We printed these up for Max Van's MotoAmerica Junior Cup races. They cost me like $70 each to print. Currently we are looking for a vendor to produce at a more reasonable cost so we can sell them. We got some jackets for Max too, I was just wearing my Team Hammer hoodie today. - Van
Hey can you link me some clip ons that would work for a 2015 FZ6R
Sorry we do not have any clip ons listed for that model. - Van
Might get shit for this but what is the computer screen on your triple tree on the Gsxr1000?
That is my AiM Solo DL2 lap timer. - Van

I have a 2014 cbr1000rr SP I went down a little bit over a month ago. In doing so, it damaged my oem clip-ons. I'm having a hard time finding a pair of Clip-Ons that will work on my bike that I can afford. I bought a pair of woodcraft clip-ons off eBay. The seller said they were taken off a cbr 1000rr. Well, they don't fit. There are several problems I am encountering with these clip-ons, none of which I can afford. My bike is my only means of transportation. Do you have any ideas on an inexpensive pair of clip-ons I could put on my bike with little to no modifications needed? Thank you
A set of clip ons for this bike are all around the $150 ish range. I do not know of any really selling for less than that. - Van
Which ones would you recommend that won't require me to change the brake lines and throttle cable
Where can i find the fit chart?
Here is a link to that on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/product_images/product_pdf/Woodcraft-Clip-On-Application-Chart.pdf - Van

So the Ninja 400 comes installed on the clipons right?...........jk!!!! Lol!!🤣

Sorry man we do not do any off road stuff. - Van
What percentage of sportbikes ever get raced? For that matter what percentage of em even do track days? Or more than just a couple their entire service life? I dont understand why manufacturers dont offer versions of full faired sportbike models where one could actually buy one built for comfort....yes poser bikes with slightly taller fairings and upwardly offset clip ons along with the same detuned motors they already reserve for the butt ugly naked bikes And PLEASE dont just say "buy and adventure bike or naked" OR any of the strange ADV proportioned bikes that are NOT dirt worthy true adv bikes....like the S1000XR ....WHY?? WHY does it have to be so tall and heavy compared to the RR or the R? I almost bought an XR but it was ridiculously like an adv bike with 17" wheels....in total frustration I bought a Tracer 9gt instead which isnt much better and a year later I am looking to replace it but with WHAT??
If you want to get a proper sportbike with handlebars high enough to make it comfortable there are a couple of options out there. We sell kits from ABM/LSL and Helibars that can make a massive difference. Below are links to both:
