I agree. Crash bars just look awful. Doesn't matter who makes them or what they cost.
Nothing is worse than getting your bike scuffed from a tip over. This is a great product solution that can save thousands of dollars in repairs to your mirrors and paniers. Looks OEM.
Thank You again for making something that would help protect the bike from a tip-over. Honda could have easily designed a metal guard like they have been putting on the previous Goldwings.

It was great that they were "scared"... I encourage people to practice practice practice the motions before you go "live" and pull the backing off to apply them.
Finally had the weather on my side to do the install. I first had to buff off my nano ceramic coating for the strips to adhere as recommended. Followed your instructions and was quite simple. I have the Iridium grey Bagger and it looks very good, like... factory good!!! Thanks!!!

I have damaged two saddlebag lids when I dropped the bike while standing still. (One time was when I tried to put it on the center stand) I was horrified to watch you purposely tip your bike over and when I saw the results, I immediately decided to become a customer. Your instructions are clear and the cautions are most important. This will be the Christmas present for the Gold Wing.

I just received the complete Kit. I'm looking forward to training and putting into practice what I learned in this video. It cost me a little more than the advertised price, because I had to pay customs fees, but I think it will be worth it. Thanks.

Looks great and performs great by watching your tests previously. I own a Yamaha FJR 1300 and from experience it's mirror casings and side cases that take most damage from a tip over drop.

Great job Max. I think this was a long anticipated product. I am a big fan of the cone course and have damaged bags and mirror. I went to another product Worldmotop drop guards I been promoting on my channel but this product looks good. I think the price is fair but I just like to wait a little when products are new. Thanks a lot for all the work and development that went into this.

I was sideswiped on the right side with 6000 damage The saddlebag door got vertical damage! I think your product might have saved it. Retail it was over 7 hundred. The whole right side was a mess 😮
For that type of damage, it remains to be seen how they will help... we'll just have to hear the stories as they roll in!
@@Traxxion Other than cosmetic damage it was still in place and worked. The mirror was of course destroyed
You could use masking tape to give you the line to follow before applying it, but looks nice when its on
I thought about that, but if you touch the part to the tape, it will stick to it and you'll mess it up.
You have the line on the ridge of the bag to follow, it should be fine.

This is brilliant and so well engineered. I’m just a slight bit disappointed the tool isn’t included in the price. Not a deal breaker but has me hesitant.

Max, this may sound picky bit i thought i would see if you’ve encountered this yet. I have a 2018 air bag model and the saddlebags are pen stripped. To install your kit would cover a portion of the stripping on the rear of the bag. Thanks for your thoughts.
It's a valid question. It will go over that. I don't know why you couldn't cut the tip off and shape it a bit too leave the stripe exposed

@@Traxxion To keep from covering the pin striping. If you look at the saddlebags on a 2018 airbag model you can see what i mean.
@@hulonposey1693 I ddon't recall it being 4 or 5 inches... but if that is the case, I would not cut it. The forward area of the saddlebag is where the damage occurs. I can understand if you don't like the look. We'll be selling the mirror kit separately in the future once we get orders filled for the whole kit.
Hi Max, I received the tip over kit today. I had my bike Ceramic coated at purchase. Any suggestions on how to remove the coating before application? Any advise will be sincerely appreciated! Thanks.
Hi Bob, I don't have any tips on that. There are many brands and I would get with the manufacturer or installer of the brand you used to get guidance.

I sure hope so. If you buy a set and they don't fit up, just return them. Buy let me know how they work if they do fit.

Hi Max. I am interesten in buying different things from your shop,eg engine guard,dipstick and want ist sent to germany The price of both products is 178. USD the cost for shipping is 185,00 USD You might understand why that does not make any. sense. Such a shame as I would want even more but at those costs it's not worth it.

Yep. I just had side guard moulding installed on my Subaru by the dealer… about $300. So Max isn’t far off considering his scale and higher quality and better function.
Will the primer damage the finish on the matte painted bikes?
It's used in all automotive paint applications.
It's 3M Primer 94, you can research it.

Anyone who says it’s expensive, go to partzilla and price the parts it protects and then labor to tear it down during repair. Oh and don’t forget downtime from riding. Cheap insurance, literally 1/2 the cost of many deductibles without the claim ❤
