Timothy Leighton I respect your perspective but motley wouldn’t be the same without all 4. Look how successful they were with corabi. It wasn’t until Vince came back where fans were happy. I’ll agree to disagree. We can all say we love the CRUE 🤘
@@jonathonhinkle89 I think that was more or less for his charisma and stage presence than his voice though because if you look back at his old concerts his voice was not good by any stretch of the imagination but the dude knew how to win the crowd

Heard this on the radio and thought "oh god... Don't destroy it Justin Moore." But was surprised when it was actually a good cover. Also made me extremely happy seeing Crüe in the video! Now, for all the 12 year old Justin Moore fans to ask "Who is Vince Neil?!"

It's given me a new appreciation of country music, something I don't get to listen to much here in NZ. Good job!!
This may be the best type of cover. Not necessarily the best cover, but it embodies what a good cover is by definition. It honors the original and still gives it an update without losing the vibe of the OG.
I have said since the 80's this is to be played at the celebration of my life....now I want this version and that's cool because Vince is in this version. I've always loved this song and Justin did an awesome job covering it.
Vince is always Vince. Heis the most recognizable voice in Metal Rock. When I first saw this I did an immediate head snap because I was doing something in the kitchen. I thought Vince? He made the song once again.
I'm a 80 kid! I was raised up with the big hair bands and country. I can say Justin does a hell of a job!!! He can sing..country music rocks! And it's southern country rock now!
Wow, this is the song my soldier sends me when he is coming home from a mission. They are not aloud to let us know the details but he sends me this song when he gets on the plane. God bless the US ARMY AND THE AIR BORNE RANGERS
I'm not a big fan of newer country music and I would never have thought a country version of this song could be good, but......wow! Justin Moore nailed it! This version is just as good or possibly even better. His voice is perfect. I just recently discovered this version and don't know how it did in charts, but it deserved to be at #1 for like a year.

That being said no one will ever sing this song as good as Vince Neil but Justin did one hell of a job. He has such a smooth tone and hits those higher noted with ease. I would love to see him cover more 80s big hair band songs just to bring them back to life. Well done Justin Well done.
Andrea Cline he's not even CLOSE to being one of the FEW that is still.truly country. Check out literally ANYTHING from ANYBODY on literally any fm country station on the planet. Those people and ALL their stuff on the radio or not are keeping it country as well

Great song.... Brings tears to my eyes making me think about my lost family members. They played this at a funeral of my family members and when I here it now my family members come to my mind and I tear up and cry. Such a great song though it means a lot to me!!
Great cover of a classic rock n' roll song. I not only loved how Vince Neil starred in the song that was already a great cover, but I enjoyed that Moore payed tribute to the original music video and I love how Motley Crue showed their support in the video
I agree, he did a great job on this one. I heard Carrie Underwood's version of it and it was horrible, I was so upset when I heard it because it just was not the same at all.
In 1985 as a beaten down 15 year old I set myself free, seeking to find my way in life with hopes of making a better home for myself. I'm so happy he didn't ruin the song they picked an amazing artist to re-create one of the Crües best and most successful songs. I am literally crying watching this video because I'm so happy that they didn't ruin it and they incorporated the original video and the video from 1991 while also having Nikki Tommy Mick and Vince all there thank you for not ruining this song and I support it.
It's hard to take a song that was sung by another great band and do the song justice, but Justin did a fabulous job on this song and the fact that Motley Crue was in the video shows they approved. Love this song by Justin and Motley Crue.
The ending when they show Tommy and Nikki at bar looking up on stage 03:26 nodding heads is kinda symbolic to them realizing the Crue ride is coming to an end and what a F in ride it was. At least that scene hit me like that, that is.

But so many remakes of songs that totally made me puke. To me some songs shouldnt even be allowed to be remade. From freebird- stairway to heaven. Including this awesome ballad and i was pissed when i heard it was going to be. i live justin moore and praise his blessed talents and vocals. but i had my douts and thought it would be butchered. But OMG! freacking justin moore rocked this song out of the park. this is the third remake song i praise the almighty for it happening. blake shelton- GOODBYE TIME. five finger death punch- BAD COMPANY. and now justin Moore and the one i love the best. my thanks of gratitude to vince Neil. and motley crue for thier permission to allow justin to do it and for justin moore for the greatest remake ever and for such such beautiful talent and his band for pounding this song hard. mick mars is a guitar wizard and so is justins axe man. beautiful guys. and this song and video is the true statement. why Justin Moore was countrys best new male artist of the year a couple years back. better build you a big ass trophy room justin. cause you'll be stocking it up during your looooonnng career. im very sure. hey dude you rock justin. thank you for this song. god bless you and yours and your band and thiers
I agree this is the best tribute on the album all together
Ronnie I'm 45 be 46 i most lilely grew up same music you did bro totally agree
54 here and totally agree that 70's & 80's were the best era for music. My favorite Crue song and Justin Moore does a great job!
Yea he killed this one. I saw it live like 3 years ago when he first got asked to do it, amazing! Justin puts on great shows.
I read an interview with Nikki Sixx and they discussed this and other recent covers.
Basically he said when the band got together it was all about having a good time. Now that he has gotten older he and the guys are pleasantly surprised how some of their music has become timeless. They were able to create something that would endure thru music.
A legacy!
How many people can honestly say that?
Rock and Country are brothers.
Fantastic job on this rock classic! Love it!!
I just heard this on the radio for the first time and came home to look it up. As an old school Motley fan ........ just WOW! This was awesome! I love everything about it. Great song and video!
Awesome cover! Even more awesome because of the homage being paid to Motley Crue!
I saw Tommy! Wowwww.
This was a great collab. Can't imagine how it happened but glad it did.
This gives me chills every time i listen to it
Love this version... better for me than the first which I had heard a thousand times and it never connected. Did a LOT of traveling in my life. So yet again on another road and this came on the radio and it just connected... perfect.
Never in a million years would I have thought Vince Neil to collaborate with a country singer. It sounds really good.
FrostyBellaEnvy no it doesn’t! Crue for life but damn please no country!
@@Codeman1115 You should spend less time trying to convince people they shouldnt like something just because you dont. Its a good cover. If Motley approves then your opinion is invalid anyway..
Country is my #1 .I grew up in the 80's. I listened to KISS, Motley Crue, to the Judy's, and so on. I love music. I can't get into Rap I've tried.
Finally a great cover from Rock to Country music great work Justin. I grew up in the 70's and 80's so i lived this era of Rock music!
I love Hard Rock as well as Country. Grew up on both as a child. Although the original will never be topped, this is a great cover! Having Motley Crue in the video and Vince joining on vocals, to me, only makes the this cover and video that much stronger. Damn, now I'm pumped, gotta watch #TheDirt for the hundredth time!!
