The most powerful verse. " And that preacher talked about sacrifice ,and traffic stopped for those Cadillac lights. " I remember as a young boy ,my granddaddy stopped the car and got out and took off his hat and stood there while a funeral passed us" He did not know them ,but he said it would make the family feel better that people recognize their loss. I had been in the Army as a duty to protect S.Korean people, I spent 26 months in the very front close enough to see N.Korean soldiers. This song reminds me of my youngest and most confident military days. I've never heard this kind of music in Korea. This makes me so proud of all of soldiers and police in the world to protect their people.
This song hits hard. At the end of my time in the Navy, I was a Casualty Assistant Calls Officer. They trained me to break the bad news. Thankfully I didn't have to...still this rings close.
Probably the best song he’s ever made. My biggest fear as a Policeman isn’t dying. I could give two shits about my own safety. My biggest fear is someone walking to my Moms front porch and my fiancé’s front porch and telling them I’m never coming home.

Honestly, this song always hit me hard but especially now that I may become an officer myself, this song really hits hard. I'm grateful to see messages like this that represents all our fallen and standing comrades. No matter what color is on their uniform or their skin
I've worn several Uniforms and a couple of Badges over the past 40 years. MSgt U.S. Army, Firefighter, Paramedic and Hennepin County Sheriff's dept. I've seen too many friends, Brothers and Sisters gone. Some from age, disease but others from Unnatural causes. I was a Firefighter Paramedic on 2001/09/11. Literally over a 1000 didn't make it home in my time. SALUTE!
As I watch this today, the city I called home for 23yrs is mourning the loss of a police officer that was shot & killed in the line of duty this very morning. I retired from that same police department. This video came at the perfect moment for me. Thank you Justin Moore! Love all of your music! 🇺🇸
A few years back we mourned the loss of a firefighter who drowned trying to recover a dead body in the lake that year firefighters suffered loss from the air that was faulty a few died from it guy got caught on something and tried to get one of his companions attention but was to murky and the two that made it reached the surface they got that medical condition of coming up to fast without stopping
Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to those who served, still serve, and have lost their lives for this country! Without these brave men and women we wouldn’t have this amazing country 🇺🇸

I'm tired of people hating on police and veterans. These people sacrifice their life, they risk losing their lives their loved ones so the world could be a better place. And It bothers me to see people sit for the pledge or want the police defunded because they are a thin skin who can't accept the way things are.
I agree with you. No one should hate policemen, veterans, firemen, active military, EMT's, paramedics. They are doing very dangerous jobs. They put their lives on the line every time they go out on a call. We should be thankful that they do what they do! I pray for them each night asking God to send his Angels on each call! God. bless them all!♡♡♡♡♡

Lost a buddy a week ago in a car accident. He was a first responder and got into a three car pile up. He gave his life protecting those he cared about. Rest in peace man.
AMBER POND I ran into his girlfriend around a month or 2 ago. Apparently he was getting ready to propose to her and he told everyone else but her. She’s doing OK though. She knows that he’s watching over her.

I lost my grandfather a while back in a shooting, this hits close to home and has helped me. He had served 6yrs in the military. To this day I will do the same thing . Funny how a little part of a song can bring back a memory like that.

The scene with the officers gets me every time, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't worry about how my dad is doing in the line of duty.
I'm tired of people hating on police and veterans. These people sacrifice their life, they risk losing their lives their loved ones so the world could be a better place.
