Did you hear their other song Disobey that they released along with Watch Me Burn? That's the Crystal Lake I was expecting.

This seems like a good system for a reaction channel. I wouldn't mind if you go into more detail with your ratings or dive in the lyrics for some songs (I know this song was pretty safe in that regard).
Me personally, I do not usually like Crystal Lake but I enjoyed this song, it was melodic, family friendly in a good way most of the time and I too understood most of the singing, which is rare for me. The funny thing is that I got some strange vibes like the ones I had on the Parkway Drive album Atlas.
For recommendations, what are you familiar with? Metalcore from NA mostly? Do you know of the European or Australian scene? Similar genres?
For example, Architects are great but from Britain, Gojira is from France, Parkway Drive form Australia. Amaranthe are in a similar genre and Chels will love them - Hunger their first music video is awesome. Serenity in Murder incorporates the Oriental in their style to represent Japan and any song from the Eclipse album shows it but sadly no videos. Eluveitie are an incredible folk death metal mashup from Switzerland. Their song Rebirth is a must see and listen. There are limitless bands from the Scandinavia, too. Mors Principium Est is a great example - Monster in Me is great.
Hope I'm not dumping too much questions at once on you.
