I swear im experiencing 10% of the game. I didnt even know those bosses existed and ive been wondering where all the players were in my matches
These are the easy ones, i hope now a month later, you have tried them. There are other bosses but the dificulty spikes quite a bit, especially since you have to go through a 2nd layer( red stairs crypts and jumping last 2 minutes south in the ice map, into the fog)
Thank you for this video! I was trying to get the gold for the quest before it came out and was having trouble on troll. After watching this I got it 2nd try. HUGE tip on shooting hellfires up a bit!

Genuinely shocked you did that uninterrupted there really do be a lobby of people trying to do the exact same thing every time I load into gobby caves. People are so obsessed with this strat it almost always pays off to just loot normally and then at the halfway mark check on the bosses to see if you can just kill the last dude standing and reap the same rewards lol

@thomasfogarty1514 they used to have variations, but this wipe goblin caves will be the exact same 5x5 layout every game! Much easier to learn now if you can find the updated map.

Do you know if the hellfires can do headshot damage if it hits his head or is it consistent all throughout the body?

It’s not too hard to get from inferno if you’re lucky enough you can spawn in the spider room and there’s always a lot in there
I think they changed it and now the only ore in inferno is rubysilver. Haven’t checked all the spawns but I’m pretty sure spider room was just ruby last time I was there

It don’t matter really, but elf is best
wait do you mean for this or in general? Elf is usually best for caster but there are so many different warlock builds that it's not a one size fits all type of thing.

You prefer curse mastery over malice? I am always going back and forth on the two.
Malice kinda sucks most times. Even if your will is really high, you get 1 extra damage or less on your curse of pain. If you don’t want curse mastery I think antimagic and dark reflection are better options
hey how are you switching between spells without holding the E key and selecting them i cant figure it out for the life of me
He is holding E, he is just remembering where the spell direction is that he doesn't actually need to see the spell wheel
in module 1-4 you can find copper and its ~300g/stack, usually find 1 to 3 nodes with 4 to 6 hits per node and a static extract right next to it. If you get bad spawn/contested bosses/or just have extra time after getting the gold, come here and make a quick 300-1k and leave

what i always have to say is "Dont come into the room" its 100% easier when you only have 1 person in there because the troll has such random aggro not like the cyclops which focuses the most dmg, the troll has like 1k less hp anyways so it shouldnt take any class longer than 2 min.

90% of our deaths are,cause he sometimes does like a 2 or even 3 swing combo when we don't expect it,and simply get one shot

@fleeno7355 when he does the swing from bottom left to top right. You have to wait for his arm to come back down. If you run in to early he does a combo. No combo if you do it right

Crazy, i have a lvl 20 ish warlock and went to try it, failed a few times but finally got the hang of the mechanics. I got to cyclops a little late and found a couple of greens, also killed a barbarian who was fighting it. I fought the cyclops through 2 of those phases where he smacks the ground and drops rocks.. Eventually he snared me and i died cuz i didnt have my phantom off cd yet.. Was I just whiffing my hellfires or something? How did i fight him for so long, even after the barbarian fought him
Depends if he reset after barb died; cyclops full heals when reset back to his original position
If you run high roller would you get better stuff from the bosses?
Yep. You can get legendary gear and the mystical gem as drops. There’s more gold ore in the double boss room and the gear that spawns on the box in there can even be unique. The bosses have some new attacks though.

Edit: also...i CAN deal with mobs. But do I HAVE to when B-lining to the Boss Room? I have gotten trapped and killed by them too many times and it makes me feel like an idiot (plus it wastes time)
Nothing wrong with killing the mobs but you may not have enough time to farm all the gold after the boss. There are a lot of troll guides on RUclips that are better than this one. This was never really intended to be a boss guide, it was more about how to use the bosses to make money. But keep circling left and be careful about how you time your cast. If you ever see him use two attacks in a row, cancel your cast immediately and get away because a one shot is coming

Brightness 2.8, can’t remember what setting is what but from top to bottom it’s high high medium medium
You can also just stand at the right range for troll scream and just back up out of the swing range😂 hes easier imo because he doesnt force damage like the cyclops rockfall phase
Also for those that read, you can enter under 25 gearscore with 8 MH with ring +ammy greens and warlock hands + helmet with boota plus book n weapon. No chest or legs for under 25.

how did you stun the cyclops out of rock fall so quickly. i used 5 hellfires on it and it still didnt stun.
Make sure the line up is good. The hellfire will do damage to him as long as he’s inside. Also it will fly in a random direction and ruin your line up if you are too close when you cast
it's so hard to kill these bosses, I keep getting charged attacked by the first boss. He blinds me and then he charge attacks me and like how do i dodge that dud
If its the charge where he slams the ground twice then swings overhead you can jump the first two slams easy. You can see in the video.
I also learned what sound he makes when he does the different attacks, not that it’s practical for everyone lol. Helps for blind. Might also help during blind if you turn your brightness up
Also if u buy the lowest rank of mystic gloves and occultist hood if you don’t have them unlocked from squire makes this fight 100x more easy

This is true. I don’t usually bother though. Vendor pick axe is only 1% and in high roller I’d rather hold spellbook in case of a fight

Yep. It’s slightly more difficult because hellfire costs more but I was just doing it today
now every goblin cave is gonna be filled with naked warlocks gunning straight for the bosses every run, great. 😂

Yep, no question. but you’re way more likely to run into other players especially around troll room.
Why do you use Power of Sacrifice on the bosses? doesn't that just make them stronger?
Mainly because it also counts for torture mastery healing. So if you use curse of pain and power of sacrifice on the boss you get double the healing. But it ends up doing ok damage too, around 36 damage or 45 if you equip the curse mastery perk

It still works, you use sacrifice on the enemy, not on yourself

He's playing a Warlock, Warlock has infinite casts. It just costs health to cast the spells.

You have to hit the fricking cyclops to break him out of the rockfall phase. Would be nice if mentioned i stood there jumping for 10 consecutive rockfalls

I am a wizard one trick and I used to solo troll as wizard but then I decided to use warlock and the time it takes me to kill troll compared to wizard was laughably better.
I just leave with atleast half a stash of 1 slot things and get like 200-300 a run. Need to buy the full game fr😂
not possible to solo bosses on EU. Everytime there is a whole lobby down there.

You have to damage him enough to make him stop. Should only take like 2 hellfires

Why did you bring a lute in your base gear? Can the Warlock use it?
I use it to break boxes when I don’t have hellfire. It doesn’t do anything for the set up in the vid since you have hellfire and longsword

Yall make it looks so easy wtf, i kill myself when opening doors with hellfire, always get caught by sand throw of the boss, the rock phase seems to never end for me and you cast hellfire in a quarter of second, why, how ?
Just practice I guess haha if you aim into the top right of the door when you hellfire you won’t hit yourself. Just don’t crouch before casting. Also hellfire will go in a random direction and you’ll lose damage if you cast it too close to the boss

They're in the in-game shop gotta buy them.
The zombie was a reward from leaderboards last season and the frost skeleton was the same but from a quest. I’m pretty sure they’ll bring the quest back soon, the frostwalker idk though.

Anyone knows why his spell cost are not tripled? Torture mastery triples your spell cost but to him it doesnt happen, why?
The change from double to triple cost for torture mastery was made recently. It still works at triple cost

Damage threshold. There are two for normal cyclops and 3 in high roller. If you get sand in the eye off of regular attacks you’re too close. It might help your hellfire damage too if you back up a bit. If you’re too close it goes in weird directions and doesn’t do full damage
if you get a troll pelt, make a gold coin bag, Theyre 6k rn in the marketplace

looks like it doesnt work anymore, cyclops dont die even after 8 minutes nukes and in last stage slam the ground about 50 secund until i die from rocks
p.s. try it like 6-9 hours, zero success
It sounds like you’re not getting good damage from hellfire for some reason. Try casting from a little farther away or changing the way you line it up. It will do damage the entire time he’s inside it, so think about that when you’re aiming. Casting too close is also a common mistake
since you made this video its impossible to farm any of the bosses anymore
I still can't kill the cave troll
I'm killing cyclops pretty consistently now, cyclops is honestly quite easy aside from rockfall RNG sometimes screwing you over, but troll just kills me 90% of the time lmao. Most often I'm either too far and can't dodge the scream (which yeah you can phantomize the follow up but it's happened back to back more than a few times for me), or i'm too close and he does some attacks that I just can't seem to be able to dodge lol. I'm really struggling with spacing around the troll
If you get hit by scream you can also strafe/run directly away from him and you should dodge the follow up attack. Hope that helps. I’m not a troll expert by any means and I swear the moment I fight him with a real kit he does some weird attacks that are never in the RUclips videos lol
@@Euthafro yeah like, for example sometimes he seems to do the 50/50 high or low attack that he normally only does after a scream without actually hitting it first for seemingly no reason, I've also seen him rarely do a big charged up swing that I haven't seen in any guides before either. Troll is just a weird boss to figure out honestly lol. I had a much easier time learning cyclops xD I'll try that out tho, thanks for the tip

So many people trying this right now in my matches. Trying to master it myself, beat the cyclops once and moved to train on cave troll. But i keep failing the troll over and over, trying to move left and jumping his attacks when needed. But he's very fast, and its so dark that alot of the time he hits me with his shriek, most of the time i can still outrun his charge or phantomize, but i always end up dying somehow to one of his close up attacks. This last match i came in just after another warlock had tried it and died, then i tried and died, and while spectating there was another warlock entering, trying and dying after me haha.
while phantomize does work, something you can do if you get shrieked, is to stand still, turn sideways so that he is in the directing of your right shoulder (or left I guess) then as soon as you see him begin his animation where he starts walking over to you to hit you, you can side strafe away from him. As long as you have at least 260 movespeed with your weapon out, you can dodge it every time. Keep in mind that you need to not be too far away when hits you with the shout so make sure you were medium range and not across the room and also don't start strafing early for the same reason and make sure you wait until he starts his animation of walking towards you before you begin strafing. (being too far causes him to run at you instead of walk and he basically runs on your model before starting his attack and that attack is the 50/50 crouch or jump but medium range he simply walks toward you and swipes and that one you can easily walk away from with the method I described)
