Can you make a video showing how you level a warlock after wipe? Or what to do if you lose a kit and haven't been able to build another one up/don't have the gold? I feel like Warlock is pretty punishing early game and I was wondering if you had any pointers. Love the vids, can't wait to see more this wipe
RUclips auto-moderated my first reply to this 🤦♂️ not sure if I’ll make a full video, but I just grab torture mastery and hellfire and go to town clearing mobs to level. Farming bosses in goblin caves is also good xp. When I run out of money I just farm cyclops in normals and hit gold pile and the break the boxes in the prison room near there. Hope that helps!
Eh. You don’t provide much support for your team besides hydra and your damage will be low compared to a wizard. If you play really well sure, but warlock will just always be worse than wizard for trios unless you’re doing something cheesy
Best build rn is spellbook caster with torture mastery. The reduction in hp cost to spells plus the added vigor change makes tm so good now. And you don't need gear to make it feel good. It feels like old tm warlock except not immortal on the upper end!
You just need more knowledge. Hydra life drain doesn’t really work at base kit. If you’re naked and you want to play this you can play curse of pain, bolt of darkness, life drain, and bloodstained blade. If you can cheese a mob you can life drain it for hp but you won’t get much hp back
Isnt this just a worse version of the krisball build before? Before BoC scaling and Dark reflection scale got nerfed also before they thanged that dark reflect takes your soul stacks?

Curse of pain also does 10 damage immediately when you land it. You do refresh the damage over time, but it’s mainly for the extra damage up front. It’s a lot more reliable than trying to land bolt of darkness because it’s hit scan instead of a projectile

(buff duration would be a bonus) you trusted me with the crystal ball and kris dagger Trust me with this, it might be a meme build but its incredibly fun in pvp, and lifesaving in pve Treant does most the damage, alongside root and dreamfire. i also have restore and of course natures power
@@EuthafroI tested it with 57% debuff duration (with spear out) Side effects are that hit stun, curse of pain, and every other debuff is just a non issue The cooldown on the spirit form seemed to be 7 seconds or so I had room for improvement but I ran out of gold, with better gear you could probably get 65% debuff duration or so, it's not hard to run away from someone for 7 seconds while healing and casting treants on them Also 50% buff duration let's you get 3 spells out before becoming physical Its very fun
Found after death yesterday running full epics in normal gobbies I was shocked. We killed him somehow cuz he just kept pushing after my teammate out like 3 arrows in him.
Yeah there is a bit of rng to it even if you hit the jumps well. But higher damage and that bit of healing from shadow touch help a lot. Practicing in normals using torture mastery and hellfire helps to learn the timing. You can rush cyclops by breaking doors with hellfire and you heal up between rock fall phases easily
@6:56 that book isn’t as good as you made it seem honestly. I had to double check so I could see that stats and magic pen is probably the most dogshit curved stat in the game. You need like at least 10% magic pen on your gear for it to make even the smallest of difference. It doesn’t scale like armor pen Love your vids though bro!
Yes but the true DMG reduction really nerfed curse of pain as well as the lowered amount of random attributes makes it more difficult to high certain stat points
For the pure caster build, the HP helps other classes more than you. Once they catch you, you’re cooked. So enemy hp essentially works like a timer they have to catch you and increasing the timer gives you more opportunity to mess up. Also you can heal mid fight so max hp means a little less. The spell cost change is nice though

There was only the afterdeath fight from stream in this one so i didn’t bother but if you want it it’s the “end wipe bis” one

that afterdeath guy is super toxic. I fought him a lot but back season 1 when i was grinding for demi. dude said lots of gamer words and did not like losing
I can’t say I know the guy but that hasn’t been my experience at all. Every time I’ve run into him he’s been a chill nice dude. Wonder if the Demi grind had him losing it a bit
I'd recommend farming a little bit before you start using this kit and opt for torture mastery while doing so, or use bard, I was really struggling without decent kit spending a few hundred gold, and as a new player I was dying alot, so playing a bit of bard solo going for chest then extract is a nice way to build a cushion.

This video was released at the same time that DaD went free to play on steam, so there was a big influx of new players. Just trying to help people who hadn’t learned the basics. For your other question, treasure is more value per slot than mediocre gear for the first few days of wipe. I’ll admit the editing of this one was kinda cooked, was experimenting with new video formats. I learned from it.
I’ll never put any respect on no skill he’s a known wall hacker and bug abuser and multiple of his friends have also been banned along with his three accounts for cheating and hacking idc how you feel dudes not good for that reason alone
@@CJ-rq2le They absolutely did. A normal skeleton archer will die in 2 hits with a poor quality mace. Previously a creature like that would take at least 3 if not 4 hits. The same is true for every creature in the game right now.

Yep. Everything on warlock has been nerfed. But the spellbook caster build was hit harder imo.

The hp thing became obvious during multiclassing, even people running robust and no iron will felt a lot harder to fight against

They nerfed the crap out of PVE in general for the new players. Creatures in general probably have 50% less health and damage across the board.
