Great review!! Amazing kit!!
Cool Jason! Thats the best sculpt of him I seen so far. I hope you have fun cleaning up them peanuts!!!😁😁😁
Dood!
You act like you've never opened a box before. Scott would have had a field day if he was cohosting this unboxing 😀
The kit looks pretty sweet too. Nice size. Great likeness. Well detailed base. Cool concept.
It was jammed in there!!!! There was no room to get your fingers around and pull it out!! You shoulda seen what I cut lol!!!!
I saw Phantasm when it first came out, and loved it. But, it is one of the earliest movies I remember walking out of thinking "What did I just watch?"
That is the best thing about it!!! IT soooo out there!! That is why Don is the man!!!
A mini poster for the box art!
LMAO - *_AGAIN_* with the extreme box opening - and *_THEN_* you seem to forget there is a top & bottom to every box. You're a barrel of contradictions - *SO* amazing & careful as a builder/painter and yet you operate like a bull in a china shop for other stuff 🤣🤣🤣
Cool kit, and once again, great work from Jeff & Mark - *WHAT* a likeness !!!!!!
I feel like I may be accused mimicking Scott here - but I’ve never gotten around to watching *ANY* of the “Phantasm” movies. I would have taken your recommendation as a further nudge to get off my backside & watch, but . . .
. . . I recall the *_“Jason will make us watch more Crimes”_* phrase from your fellow movie reviewer! 😀
Thanks for the OOB review Jason 🍻
.
Dang peanuts make such a mess
Angus Scrimm, the stage name for Lawrence Guy from Kansas!
Always loved that name. That and Scroobius Pip
I actually got to attend a Phantasm reunion panel at Flashback weekend here in Chicago, He was such a nice guy!! He passed away shortly after :(
I agree about the "floating" arm. I got the Macready bust and something is just off in my taste for the style. I am going to fill in the sockets and do a "classic" style bust. It looks good from 1 specific angle, but from most viewpoints it looks almost incomplete. This is the same way, but that sphere is so cool. Maybe suspended by a thin acrylic rod? Thanks for showing it off, the sculpt and castings look flawless.
I'm glad i'm not alone in the thoughts on the arm. It always looks great from one angle but the rest look kind of weird.
Thank you Jason, for the review! I'm glad you like it Boooooy!
Thanks for making it!
I heard Jason, visits a blood bank three times a month to have model kit money..
That's Brian!
