I would put crusader in A tier with artful. It's much more useful than haymaker imo. Makes dealing with mummies and ghosts a breeze and mummies drop some of the best loot. Curiosity lures, lucky rings, rabbits foot, and so much cloth which you can sell. I almost never buy sheep because I get so much cloth from mummies. Also would be nice if you could include a list with what enchant you typically do on each tool or weapon at the end. I know you mentioned it in between but would be nice to consolidate the info. Maybe you can do a short (suggestion).
I think efficient is by far the worst enchantment, since by the time you reach Ginger Island, energy really should be a total non issue. Even autohook beats efficient since it’s a quality of life upgrade that you can’t ignore, unlike how energy limitations can be completely ignored by just having a stack of food.
"in the real world you can only till 1 tile at a time" hahahaha I do not like autohook; at best, it does nothing. at worst, it ruins my concentration/breaks my flow and I lose more fish. hooking is the absolute easiest part of fishing, why automate that part out of everything?? I generally agree with you on these. For the most part, by the time you can get them, you no longer need them.
I personally wish enchantments were available earlier in-game, or better yet: have some sort of challenge late-game that pushes fast, efficient, and smart tool usage to the limits. Some ideas: You and Willy encounter pirates at sea. They take you captive, then maroon you on some deserted island where you have to make offerings to a golden jungle cow and silver moon fish twin-spirits to restore their temple and a warp home. Catch is: there is no fresh water needed for growing crops, so you're limited by the total water in your can. If the scenario is designed right, Bottomless enchantment could feel euphoric here. Or one more. With Maru and the Dwarf's help you build a rocket and travel to some Smoluanu Ruins on a large asteroid. Most of her people are gone, but junimos are here and need help restoring life to the planetoid. You'll need your best tools because weirdly everything is larger and heavier/harder. Powerful enchant would help in breaking the meteorites, tough soil, and iron trees. Generous and shaving are also beneficial here. Maybe in Stardew Valley 2.0 😂
Just discovered your channel and have been binging!!! You’ve got such a nice voice and layout of your content, just wish I found you sooner. I hope this doesn’t come off wrong, but I think your channel would do a lot better if you were more direct and exciting with titles, like with capitals and capturing words. “BEST to WORST enchantments in STARDEW 1.6” would’ve boosted this onto a lot more recommended pages, I feel like the titles are kinda vague or boring
I'm glad you're enjoying the videos! I appreciate the feedback. I was trying not to do too much clickbait, but you're probably right. I'll have to work on those. Thank you so much for watching and the comment 💕
The Auto-Hook enchantment does not deserve the F-tier imo. The 0.5-1 second reaction time saved can actually accumulate into one extra catch when you fish a lot. At the very least, this enchantment deserve to be on the same tier as the specific niche use Bug Killer enchantment.
I'd argue the opposite: put Bug Killer in F too. Both enchantments are super niche, and the niche is super pointless. One extra fish caught per day means nothing in the late game. And it's not like that extra catch is free. You're giving up a few potential perfect catches due to a smaller fishing bar. Or you're giving up resources from extra tackle crafting. Saving targeted Legend II bait is a huge deal in monetary expression too. Auto-Hook is a terrible enchantment.
I understand the enchantments are very subjective and dependent on each individual's playstyle, but as an avid collector of stuff you get when hoeing spots seeing generous in B tier hurts my soul as for me it's an easy S tier. Also think as a person with a lot of animals that the hay maker enchantment is an A tier as I don't struggle with combat and idm the passive hay gain. I do think that bug killer is an easy F tier as it is the twin of the bane of arthropods in Minecraft and has a little too niche use
Thank you for this very helpful information. I have to say that I hate, hate, HATE the randomness of the forge enchantments. Surely by the time we have reached the top of the volcano we have earned the right to choose? This made me so mad when I discovered this yesterday that I quit playing for a whole day, which for me is really something! I will approach the forge with caution from now on and only use it if I get exactly the upgrade I want, Im absolutely not scavenging for all those resources to be left with a random enchantment. I really don’t like RNG in games in general, I think you should have the rewards not get scammed. Many thanks once again.
Woo! I'm glad it helped. Sometimes I stay in the ginger island farmhouse specifically to test which enchantments are next in the queue first thing in the morning. I like the idea of getting to choose, even if it required additional ingredients that were specific to each enchantment. Thanks for watching!
I think bottomless is too high. Filling up the watering can is soooooo easy and is rarely even required when it’s iridium and you have sprinklers. It deserves no higher than D tier imo.
"There's no hooker I trust more than myself" got me good lmao
i know right? 😂🤣😂 LOL
Reaching is amazing to have, I would put that in A-tier. And swift is 100% an S-tier. It basically removes the argument for animation cancelling.

Great suggestion! I'm not sure if I can add anything in without re-uploading the video, but I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos.
Crusader is my favorite enchantment for my sword, for the same reasons. Very practical.

Great video, now started stardew and I needed the bit of help with what im doing, your videos are a huge help
though this vid isnt for me as a beginner, I love seeing the capabilities of this game
The wordplay with the hooking, hmmmm.
😂😂😂
Thoughts on Shaving? It's my go-to axe enchantment. 🎤🎤🎤
I think shaving with an axe is excessively manly. That's probably not what you were asking though.
@@mooredmon7898 No such thing as excessively manly 🧔🏻♂️🔥💯
Depending on what farm you have it can be very useful.

Bug killer has niche use in mining auto hook is always useful when fishing
Great video!
Swift and Reaching not in S hurts my soul

69 galaxy souls, nice.
I would put Master in S tier, makes Lava eels and Octopie 🐙 so much easier!
This is a good list, though not having *anything* in S tier feels a bit wrong. Like surely some of these probably should get bumped up.
Haymaker is pretty garbage imo meanwhile Bug Killer should be higher, while most bugs are weak the spiders in the dangerous mines can be nasty
😂 I just wasted 18 minutes of my life waiting for S Rank enchantment.
She doesn't curve grades
Damn does she like anything? 💀😂
