Lovely WIP parade. You are ambitious and not over the top! You are doing a fabulous job keeping up with your stitching. I am struck by the thought and care you put into your stitching. Look forward to visiting you again in 2024. Happy New Year.
I loved your wip parade ❤ Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t finish something as quick as you think you should I have about 30 whips and I just work on whatever I want , when I want, as long as I want 😊 I was a Monogamous stitcher for about 30 years and once I started watching floss tube and saw all of you girls doing more than one project I Decided that look like fun so I started doing different ones and I’ve enjoyed it tremendously! I finish quite a few but I love working on all of them… you do beautiful work Lauren
Loved seeing all your WIPs! You have a delightful array of projects! Keep the fun in stitching and stitch what you love! I’m learning to not set too many goals myself!
I enjoyed your WIP parade, Lauren. You have a nice variety of designs that you’ve working on. I agree. Keep your stitching a fun hobby. Don’t set too many goals. Have fun just “winging” it!
Thirza was April 2022! You’ve got such a great start though! I KNOWWWWWW the color changes are so hard but you’ve gotten through a lot of the slow part. I really think you could start flying on her now 😍
Very inspiring WIP parade, thank you for sharing. I love the WTNT charts, taking notes on your fabric choices and floss substitutions on all of these WIPs. Have a fun and healthy new year!!!
Thanks for another wonderful WIP parade! Love your taste in designers, floss, and linen. You’re absolutely right, this hobby should only bring joy so hope you keep that precarious balance of goals and flexibility. Happy new year!
There are so many great options, and I'd have a hard time deciding on what I'd want to stitch on! Thanks for keeping me company as I worked on Black'd Skie by The Primitive Needle.
Hi Lauren! I heard about you from Cam the stitcher and Cait, so decided to come over! So glad I did! You are doing some beautiful pieces. I love your palettes of bright and cheerful colors for your kitchen. We think alike with color choices! You are already working away at things I’m planning to start in 2024- Quaker Summer, the garden sampler you showed near the end and one day I’m going to get to Thirza! I am currently working on Rejoice Evermore. I think yours looks great, but if that mustard color bothers you, try stitching over it with the color you choose. I promise you won’t see it. And you won’t have to frog it out! Just a little cheating tip that really helps sometimes! In addition to your stitching, I think that scene behind you of the barn looks absolutely gorgeous. What beautiful land you live on! Ok, off to find your finished to see what else you’ve been up to! 🩷
Happy New Year Lauren. I loved your WIP parade, so many lovely things. I’ve been working on “Rejoice Evermore” for a while, and had the same concerns as you about the yellowness of the Gentle Arts Mustard Seed. I’ve stuck with it, though I completely understand why you want to change. However, I’ve just finished the tub of flowers above the house, and the mustard seed looks really pretty here. You might want to consider using it in some areas but changing in others. Now I’m looking forward to your 2023 finish parade!
I loved your WIP parade ❤ it kept me company during part of my NYE stitching. You've got me itching to start so many samplers, the hardest part will be choosing which one to lean into first. Thank you for sharing them all together it was great fun to watch
Happy New Year! Thank you for another great flosstube. I enjoy seeing all of the fabulous projects you are working on. Looking forward to your finish parade.
Wonderful WIP parade Lauren! You have some many wonderful projects going. Enjoy all of your starts over the next couple of days and Happy New Year! -Carolyn
Lauren, this is such a great video. I really enjoyed your wip parade. I enjoy all your wips /patterns. These are totally my jam as well and the colors you chose for your very last pattern, eggs and coffee are just going to really make that come alive. can’t wait to see you close in on a finish on that one! Happy new year.🎉
Lauren your projects are stunning. Your eye for color is fabulous. Are the Roxy Co conversions posted anywhere, or are they your personal choices? Happy stitching and New Year!
Happy New Year to you! Thank you for your videos. My husband is astonished by all the youthfulness in this stitching community. It thought it was only old people like me haha. Love seeing your projects.
Happy to watch an hour of you Lauren and your wip parade. You have chosen some outstanding samplers, and Mary Ann Copp is one of my favourites. Thank you for mentioning the guilt aspect of languishing projects and focusing on the enjoyment of our hobby, as typically women seem to feel guilty over many things!! Looking forward to watching your finish parade too and seeing what your colour(s) choice will be for Pandemic. Have a Happy New Year, and enjoy your New Years Eve start.
Loved your WIP parade…beautiful and inspiring! I did WIPGO a couple of years ago and decided last year that it was too confining and goal-driven for me. Like you, I have high expectations at work and other aspects of my life and don’t need it in my stitching and other crafts. While I do set some plans on occasion, I’ve really embraced the “Stitch What You Want When You Want” philosophy in the past few years. Happy New Year!
Loved your WIP parade & I completely agree with your approach. You are the boss of your stitching. 😀Setting goals and remaining flexible are 2 things I try to do. Life happens. Moods change. Enjoy every stitch & Happy New Year 🎉
I always enjoy your videos! I was making 3/4” hexies for a Laundry Basket little quilt while I watched your WIP parade. I’m always impressed with what you are working on but I have to say that I am mesmerized with your voice and your manner of speaking. Your voice is soothing and so easy on the ears. Rarely do you say “and um” or “uh” and rarely do you start a sentence with “so”, as many people do. It makes me think you have a job where you often speak in front of people. Whatever the reason, I wish more people spoke as you do. Happy New Year to you and your husband.
Fabulous wip parade, thanks for sharing Lauren! Your Summer Quaker looks amazing. I’m working on that one too. I have it off the qsnap just laying on the couch so I can see it, but I keep telling myself to wait until spring. If I see you pick that up in Jan that might be all the push I need. It was sunny today in central IL, so maybe that counts! 😂 I haven’t touched my Pandemic since the 1st year it came out. Really hoping it sees some love in 2024. Happy New Year & happy stitching. 😊
Lauren of course I enjoyed your WIP parade and every video you make. I love your dry sense of humor. Happy New Year. And yes the high expectations do not have to cover over into your hobby. You do just fine. ❤
I loved the parade! Wonderful projects... and thank you for the extra care in making it a "no zipper" show... super delightful! I loved watching the Evertote Christmas Countdown and hope to play along next year!
Loved your WIP parade! We have a number of the same projects including Rejoice Evermore which I also have not returned to since I started it last New Years Eve! I’ll try again. I’m using the Roxy Floss Co conversion for that one. Happy New Year, Lauren!
The Roxy Floss Co conversion for coffee and eggs is stunning! I’m still so obsessed with that pattern. I’m doing Flowers & Friends on very light fabric and the border is going painfully slow.
Brilliant idea, to pull out Christmas at Holly Berry Farm on the 25th of every month! I put mine away after Christmas, but I really want to get that border done, so I think I will do exactly that! 👍🏻😎 You have some gorgeous WIPs, I'll look forward to seeing more of them in 2024!
Lots of beautiful wips to look forward to stitching on! Thank you for sharing! Sadly- I too have not worked. On my rejoice evermore! But I am going to work on it this month or February. I am starting a blessing sampler which needs to be started and finished in January 🤪 “Sampler tree by Liz matthews” I think it’s doable. Lol famous last words. Happy New Year!
Love to see the beautiful WIPs! Are you using the John James *Tapestry Point* Beading Needles? (Item #JJ10710B, sometimes called “ball point”.) They are what I use for 46 count.
Can someone explain to me what the problem viewers have with the zipper and plastic crinkle noise? All flosstubers I watch apologise and I don't understand why?

Just now discovering this stitcher and am noticing similarities in our tastes. Guess I'll keep tuning in!😋
Love your progress on your beautiful wips. Happy stitching!
2024 is looking like a good stitching year!
Loved seeing all your WIPs! You have a delightful array of projects! Keep the fun in stitching and stitch what you love! I’m learning to not set too many goals myself!
So hard to be on a no start kick and watch this WIP parade 😍😍😂
You have some really great projects. I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing
Hi Lauren, enjoy your videos. Your WIPs are amazing and I absolutely love all of the colors you use. You inspired me to stop my Christmas projects 😂
So very much enjoyed your WIP parade and now look forward to your finishes parade!

Hi Lauren, happy new year 🌹🥂🍾. I like the color of floss that you’re using for your long dog sampler. Your stitching looks very nice.
