Congratulations on you Finishing Your Beautiful Consider The Lilies - wow. This is so pretty. Love all of your other WIPS - you are making great progress on them. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵🍂🍁☕️❤️
Yea, Consider the Lilies is done 👏🏽 what a beautiful piece!! Love the autumn smalls & all the finishes in the basket. I can’t wait to see the mini hank you choose for Pandemic!
Lorren or maybe Lauren, sorry… Consider the Lillies is a huge undertaking. What a beautiful accomplishment. Congrats gurl. 🎉 I very much enjoyed seeing and hearing about all your projects. I flipped over Spell of the Moon. Paused, rushed to 123 Stitch .. didn’t have .. goggled SofM .. sold out here and here and there, when something said something about the pattern being discontinued but before my heart completely sank I saw where it was in a book. Search for book .. find name of book … wait a minute! I have that book 🎉 Seeing yours makes me want this right away along with all the designs in this book. ❤ Back to your video. Want to see what else is in your dough bowl 😉 I think your dough bowl looks awesome. 🤩
Consider the Lilies looks fabulous! So glad for you that your borders met up😊. That's going to look beautiful hanging in your home. You must feel so satisfied to have it done! I love the colors on your Plum Street salt boxes too. Hope you get lots of stitching done on your staycation! Loved seeing all of your stitching today😊
Lauren I too got the border right on “CONSIDER THE LILLIES”. Can’t wait for mine to be finished also. I did the border on the “At Home” and it came out right the first time. I was amazed both times. You do beautiful work and I look forward to your videos. Have a Happy 35th birthday”. ❤
Another fun filled video Lauren! I love seeing all your stitching, finishes, knitting, and wool applique. And a super big congratulations on your Consider the Lilies finish -- WOW! I encourage you to keep going / re-start the Westknits Mystery Knitalong. I've participated in several over the years and its always a lot of fun --- plus its inspiring to knit along with everyone else. Happy Crafting! -Carolyn
Thanks Carolyn! I am having fun trying some new things like wool applique. I'm still not sure about the MKAL so I'm going to see what the full reveal is before I decide, but I may make another WestKnits pattern regardless :)
What a wonderful accomplishment....Consider the Lilies is lovely!! You will cherish it forever. Congratulations! I am currently working on HRH Autumn with the fancy floss thread conversion from Shepherd's Bush. My plan is the topper and eight blocks completed in 18 months.....so a block every other month. This is my third HRH. The Village took me 11 years.....I was raising my family. Farms of HRH took about two years. I love having one going. I have two more in my stash. Enjoy!
You do beautiful work Lauren! Don't apologize for doing life. I think most Flosstube channels experienced some time away. But you were missed regardless!
Love the smalls in the dough bowls. I like using them periodically as palate cleansers. I am currently doing several large patterns and need a break! Everything look so good. Cheers.
CONGRATULATIONS on your Consider The Lilies finish!! 🎉🎉 That's a ginormous finish! It's BEAUTIFUL!! Love to see how you decide to finish yours. Lori Holt @loribee1 stitched that as well. It's beyond BEAUTIFUL too. That's the first time I've seen it finished. So nice to see you again! Love your flosstube/knitting videos!! I have that pattern as well & His Eye Is On The Sparrow. I'm trying to decide on the right fabric choice. I'm going to call The Attic in Arizona & have them kit it up for me. Love to see your knitting as well! I hope that you have a happy fall too. Where I live we're enjoying the beautiful colors that fall has to offer us! And! Who couldn't LOVE pumpkins like I do!! 😂🧡🧡 Thank you for showing all you do! 🧡
Thank you for watching! I think you will love stitching Lilies or Sparrow, whichever you start with!! I'd love to do Sparrow one day, but think I'll need a little break in between haha! Happy fall to you also!
Yay!! So nice to see you 😊 Gurl! Don’t worry about your nails. The millions of us who paint our nails all have these times of needing to redo our polish. Oppsie! Talk about being embarrassed, were we?, I had a temporary flapper when getting an implant. Of course it was an eye tooth. Yep! Right there in the very front. Well, to make a long story long, I had a business zoom call with a very large group of women around the world. I know you know where this is going. So, I spent extra time on my hair, my makeup, I think I remembered to tweeze away the blonde chin hair that only makes an appearance when you have something important. I picked a perfect top long enough to cover my briefs, I was set to go on with a bang. Meeting went very well, lots of participation, creative ideas running like a herd of buffalo. After the meeting ended I went in to put on a tee shirt and jeans and all of a sudden 🤔🫣🤭😮 OMGOODNESS I FORGOT MY FLAPPER!! Embarrassed is an understatement. 😂🤣🤪
Lol! This is too funny 😂 I think we've all had a Zoom mishap or two in the past couple years! Thank you for watching my video and for your lovely comments - I'm glad I was able to provide some stitching inspiration ☺
Congratulations on your big, beautiful Lilies finish! i started it Jan 1 2021 and worked on it monogamously until the border was complete. Have barely touched it since. Seeing yours is so inspirational! Must get back to it. Your autumn finish parade was also very inspirational. You have a LOT of fall pieces for only being back to stitching a few years! Happy Birthday very soon Thanks for sharing, xx
Thank you! Fall is pretty much the only season I have a good amount for - when we get to Christmas my dough bowl is only going to have one item in it 😂
Borders meeting on the first try would be like hitting the lottery for me! Your pieces are all so gorgeous, Autunm at Hawk Run Hollow will be another wonderful in silks. Olivia showing her selection of silk is killing me! For your bowl fillers you can add a few simple wool applique pieces, like a single crow on pumpkin.
Your “Consider the Lilies” finish is beautiful. I am coming back to cross stitch after a 27 year hiatus and loving it. Starting with the small stuff but samplers are my passion. Your work is inspirational and I am hoping to stitch some bigger pieces.
🎉🎉 yay so huge!!! I love your dough bowl too ❤ you could try adding some pine cones or wheat berries to keep the pillows from sliding around? So cute tho!!
Hi Lauren. Great video. I'd suggest using some leaves or bittersweet to tuck into your dough bowl. Mine is smaller, which is good. Less pressure to fill it! 😂
Consider the Lilies is beautiful! It's in my WIP pile. I'm also working on Deck the Coop and really am enjoying it. Thoroughly enjoyed your fall finish parade - beautiful! BBD is my favorite! Your wool appliqué is so pretty. You should join Sew Tattered and Celeste Creates and myself for #woolwednesday. We are have a great time! Take care. Happy Stitching! 🧵
Consider the Lilies is amazing! So beautiful. All of your autumn finishes are so pretty. I've definitely added a few to my wish list. Your shawls are beautiful. It's a bummer about the mkal. You won't regret the chiao goo interchangeables. I love mine. It absolutely changed my knitting game.
I actually moved over my Purl Soho wrap to my Chiao Goo needles once I stopped the MKAL because going back to the bamboo was just not the same! I think I'm a convert
Love your stitching Lauren! Thank you for sharing. Keep going with your wool appliqué project, I also enjoy working with wools, so much fun. Happy Fall🎃 !!
Love all your projects and your finish idea for the Welcome sign is amazing. I’m working on Winter so going to do something similar. I’ve learned to wait out Stephen’s MKAL to make sure I like the pattern:). He has lots of other fun patterns that your beautiful yarn would work great for.
Thank you! I'm not the most prolific finisher but I was pretty pleased with what I came up with for this one! Really looking forward to doing the Christmas one, maybe I need Winter for after that too 🤔
You have done a great job finishing consider the lillies! Jo from jos country junction has been working on that, but not finished. I also like your Deck the coop. I am consider buying that. You have been busy i think. I am currently working on The quilted witch. Your wool project is neat. I dont knit, but i sure like your colors!
Beautiful finishes and projects. Congratulations on Consider the Lilies grand finish. If you’re checking our knitting needles, try the cubics or square shaped ones. They’re much easier on the hand. I’ve gone through many types and still use my various needles but give those a try. Take care!
Congrats on that big finish! Always enjoy seeing your stitching and listening to your thoughts. That owl project bag is so cute! I’m going to have to hunt down a mini charm pack and make my own I think!
Nice Work!!! Congrats on Wow a beautiful finish! Great FFOs. You can learn French Knots, they are not hard. 2nd choice is to do a Colonial Knot, some find that easier & more consistent with end result.
Thank you! I should definitely sit down and just learn how to do the french knots - I've never heard of a Colonial Knot; I'll have to take a look at that as well!
Those of us who stitch at the library in Morristown, Tennessee are also planning to begin Pandemic in January. I will be using Anchor 102 (a deep purple color). Everyone is picking different fabrics and fibers. Are you all using a hash tag? If so, I can suggest that we all use it. "Consider the Lilies" is beautiful.
I do not have a hashtag but I think we could certainly come up with one! Let me know if there's something you'd like to use and I will include it in my posts 😊
@@newhampshirestitcher perhaps it could be something like #LDSPandemic2024sal (The LDS would define it as Long Dog Samplers, The Pandemic would be the design name but by attaching it with the designer it would not be confused with any health crises that arrise; the 2024 would be the year; the sal would be start along or stitch along)
Everything is beautiful! 🙌🏻😊You have inspired me, I have Consider the Lilies kitted up. I’m currently stitching Winter Rose Manor by Brenda Gervais, but using mostly Victoria Clayton Silks. Of course I also have other WIPs going on, mill hill Christmas ornaments that want to be finished. I just need to figure out how to still have an income and not have to work full time so I can stitch more! So many beautiful patterns, but again I’m so inspired by your work. This weekend and my stitching went way too fast……😂
I have loved your solstice stitch idea, so I have been stitching along, but instead using Brenda Gervais Seasons of the Heart book since I had it in my stash. I started all three seasons so far on their solstices, and have finished all three. Just Winter to go. Thanks for the fun idea!!
That's a great idea! I am almost done with Brenda's Seasons of the Heart; fall is actually the last one I haven't done. Hmm maybe I need to get on that 🤔
Your finishes are beautiful. Love all the pillows too, they look great. I’m thinking of doing Cinnamon House too. I’m stitching Autumn Towne by Autumn Lane and the barn out your window reminds me of this stitch. While I’m stitching, I think that the town is in NH, or Vermont ( which I love too- visited 3 times) I think of eastern townships of Quebec south of Montreal too. Seen them all in the Fall Great Flosstube!
Consider the Lilies is wonderful . Such an accomplishment. It’s sitting in my stash at the moment. I’m pretty new to x stitch so I’m kinda intimidated by it.
I started Lilies after only stitching for ~6 months so it's definitely doable even as a beginner! The great thing about it is that it's really just one motif at a time, and by the time you get to the big tree and house in the middle, you'll be in a great groove. ☺
All your work is beautiful! Consider the Lilies is quite an accomplishment. We have a number of projects either in common, or in my immediate plans…including Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow. I’m pondering the silk collection from Hillside Rookery. I haven’t started my BAP yet…I had trouble finding the fabric I wanted (Antique Lace) and when I finally received it, it was nothing close to what I wanted. So I’ve been stalled on starting. It’s ok, there’s no shortage of things to work on!
Definitely never a shortage for me either!! The silks are really beautiful. I did end up deciding to go with silks; however I will be using the Vicki Clayton conversion. Excited to see what they look like!!
Thank you for your video. Lovely finishes! I enjoyed seeing your previous fall finishes. They're great. Hope you enjoy your Autmn at Hawk Run Hollow. I'm doing Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow, it's fun, alot of work, but alot of fun! I like the appliqué. I need to get a kit. Take care and happy stitching!
Ughhhh you and Cait are starting Pandemic....I may secret start with y'all but idk I cannot start another BAP.....I am going to be so annoyed if I start this, but a monochrome Long Dog has been on my list for so long! Your colors for the Mystery Shawl are so good, I know there had been issues but those colors, that would be a hard decision.
Your finishes are gorgeous! I have a Hawk Run Hollow and need to start it! You're giving me inspiration! Especially after you mentioned the silks sale...hmm...
Everything is so gorgeous!! You mentioned Signed and Numbered frames. Is this a shop you can order custom frames, then you frame yourself? Happy stitching!!❤
I am a new stitcher, how are you figuring your space on your canvas? The “finished” piece is unbelievable, wow! Definitely want to stitch Deck The Coop but have a few more beginner ones to accomplish before i do.
Thank you! I use this Yarn Tree calculator to determine how much fabric I need: yarntree.com/java/xstitchcal.htm Then I measure into the corner of my fabric 3 inches in each direction on the top left and put a needle in that corner ☺
Consider the Lilies is GORGEOUS!!!!
Wow what an achievement with Consider the Lilies. Fantastic. Happy Stitching.❤❤
Consider the Lilies is just awesome 🩷

@@newhampshirestitcher I just finished my center block!
I absolutely love your finishing of the design of the draw thread. I may. Still your idea if you don’t mind ❤
Please do!
No secret starts, only public!! 😆
Your finishes are gorgeous! I have a Hawk Run Hollow and need to start it! You're giving me inspiration! Especially after you mentioned the silks sale...hmm...
There's a silk sale?! 😮
Which one will you be starting??
@@newhampshirestitcher probably, the Village at Hawk Run Hollow.
Everything is so gorgeous!! You mentioned Signed and Numbered frames. Is this a shop you can order custom frames, then you frame yourself? Happy stitching!!❤
Yes, exactly! They are an Etsy shop; you pick the frame then can give them the dimensions and do the mounting/framing yourself.
Thank you!
What is that fabric in the Golden Delicious picture. Love your autumn finishes.❤
I believe the called for is Picture This Plus Barnwood!
@@newhampshirestitcher Thank you for the reply!
@@newhampshirestitcher thank you so much for answering, i appreciate it greatly.
