Congrats! I’ve been dealing with some tendon issues on the one wrist/thumb related to my toddlers (and work and hobbies) so I get how that feels. I feel like with all my pregnancies I was googling things and going THATS A SYMPTOM TOO?!?! I also lost my craft room to the kids and getting it all out was a TASK. Hope you are feeling well, getting rest, and getting stitching and knitting in as you desire!

Congratulations on your wonderful news. Wow, I had totally forgotten about the carpel tunnel. I too had it during pregnancy … I remember not being able to hold a mug. This may be obvious, but I used to sleep on my side with my hands under the pillow under my head. Had to change that since that really cut off circulation. It did all go away after my daughter was born so there is an end in site! Have a wonderful time at The Attic. And thanks for showing all of your beautiful finishes and WIPs.

I have never heard of getting carpal tunnel during pregnancy. I had it many years ago. I had no feeling in my thumb and two fingers with pain going all the way up my arm to my shoulder. I feel your pain. Did they say if it will go away after you have the baby? Loved your WIP parade, you have some amazing projects and your stitches always look beautiful and perfect. Congratulations! So happy for you. I also struggled with Crosstitch at times due to arthritis and other issues in my right wrist and hand. I’ve had Cortizone shots and I’m on arthritis medicines now which help but I still have times where I have flare ups. I’ve learned to deal with it and can’t stitch for long periods of time. I hope your carpal tunnel goes away once you have the birth of your son. It was nice to see a video from you again.

Congratulations to you and your husband. That's the best news ever. Your WIPs are lovely. I bet there are also projects you are longing to start for the nursery. Sorry to hear about the hand pain -- I also never heard of that as a pregnancy trouble. I hope it resolves soon. Did your doctor suggest the soft hand braces you can wear while sleeping, readily available at places like Walgreens? That helped my Dad recover by keeping him from bending his wrists as he slept. Best wishes!

It’s wonderful to see you. Congratulations on your pregnancy, and about getting a passport for a baby - both my children (now in their 40’s) had passports at less than a week old. My son was 2 weeks old when we flew back to Saudi Arabia. I hope your hands get better because the time before the baby starts walking is a great time for stitching. You have lots of beautiful projects to get back to and I’m sure you’ll be adding some for the baby’s room. Wishing you good health.
