Stacy Nash Christmas on Hollyberry Farm, stitched a few years ago, loves every stitch. Christmas in my Heart 1843 by Samplers Not forgotten, loved it. Chessie and Me Peace and Goodwill, great stitch! I’m working on Christmas village by Prairie Schooler, love! All the snaps from Lizzie Kate to Country Rustic Primitives. Christmas is my favorite and in 2021 I stitched only Christmas for the year. I’m thinking of doing only Prairie Schooler for 2025. I love all stitching but Christmas is my favorite! Also, I’ve stitched many things from the PNP magazine, lots of good ones in there. Have a great week!
Beautiful stitching. I love your pillow finishes. I've asked for a sub to Punch Needle and Primitive for Christmas, so I'm excited for the patterns in the back issues. Thanks for sharing all the fun Christmas/winter charts. I oive seeing your knitting. Your shawl is pretty. Your wrap is stunning! Your colors are so soft and pretty and work so well together in all of the sections. I love a good Casapinka pattern.
Love you projects-both stitching and knitting! I love Prairies Schooler Christmas and Praiseworthy Stitches! Many of the Praiseworthy ones have houses, which you might enjoy stitching!
Favorite Christmas stitches: any of the Prairie Schooler Santas (particularly the earlier ones). Also last year’s Santa Ornament by AcadiaStitching on Etsy was a big hit with my family. Hands on Design has a very pretty free chart- Berries in Bloom - it’s a berry wreath stitched on light aqua linen. Also Primitive Threadworks Merry Christmas - is a very nice berry bowl - pretty quick to stitch. Your projects are all great - I admire anyone who takes on a Hawk Run project. The Casapinka pattern looks like a lot of fun - and a great opportunity to learn new stitches. The Birds of a Feather Alphabet is definitely OOP and not readily available on Etsy - so you’re lucky to have it!
I actually stitch Christmas all year long. Some favorites are from Homespun Elegance, just finished an ivory Santa, and many Prairie Schooler Santas. Teresa Kogut is also a favorite.
Dark Golden Delicious is so tempting! I have been enjoying This Joyous Season by Plum Street. I'm starting the Lola Crow Creepy ornaments this weekend.
I think we have a very similar aesthetic for Christmas/winter stitching as most of what you are working on is on my list as well. That book was new to me, and while my library doesn’t have it I was able to request it from another library so I look forward to flipping through it
I love the Ever green Sampler in A Cross-Stitch Christmas: Handmade memories!! I'm still looking for the book! So far only found one for $65 on ebay and that is just to wild of a price. Love your stitching!!
I love stitching one or two prairie schooler santas every year. I have a large santa sleigh that i just add them to as pillows. Thanks for the video and your time
Sorry but an old man (neighbor) was cleaning out the garage after his wife died and i asked if i could have it. Probably a garage sale or goodwill. I can keep a look out here. I see them now and then
Lauren, your stitching is beautiful. The Blue Flower pieces are some of my favorite seasonal projects. Love your new knitted scarf! So many different stitches!
I've stitched Farmhouse Christmas by LHN, plus I have an older book of Christmas stitching from Better Home and Garden. I may make my Christmas start, Kringles
Thank you for your video. Loved all your finishes. I need to follow your example, and finish some pieces. It's just not my favorite! I'm on a starting kick myself, so I get it! I'm stitching the 3 snowmen from Stitchy Kitty (a new start) and will pull out a Teresa Kogut I started last year called All the Things, because one of my favorite designers. I have most of the Prairie Schooler Santas, but can't decide how I will use them; as ornaments, pillows, flat folds, on one piece of fabric, etc. Hopefully i can make uo my mind and start them soon. I love the colors you used on your new scarf. I don't knot well enough to attempt to make anything, but I do crochet, and would like to get back to that. Take care and happy stitching!
Your pillows are adorable. I really like the two fabrics on the Blue Flower one. I'm so glad you were able to find the Evergreen Sampler book. Surprisingly that book is actually very hard to find!
Hi Lauren! Another great episode -- I really enjoy seeing and hearing about everything you're stitching and knitting. I highly recommend that you stitch Hands to Work Share Joy! I stitched it when it came out in the advent box and loved both the stitch and the finished piece. You also made a fantastic knitting pivot for the shawl -- it's like your knitting a sampler. Happy Crafting! -Carolyn
Great finishes. I have the Spring Moon and Summer Moon patterns. I am trying to decide if I want to buy the Winter Moon kit. A few of my favorite Winter items I have done are Hello Winter by Plum Street, Sleight Rides and Snowflakes by Scarlett House and The Color of Winter by The Blue Flower. That last one was my first time doing 46 count. Happy Stitching!
The Color of Winter was my first and last time doing 46 count. I did those trees in the center like 3 times. So, I have been keeping with 36 and 40. I would like to try it again but probably with something smaller. @@newhampshirestitcher
Hi Lauren - thank you for yet another dose of stitching inspiration/enabling! A couple of my favorite Christmas pieces, which I haven't seen mentioned or stitched too much (at least since I started watching Flosstube about 18 months ago), are both by Abby Rose Designs - Yuletide on Thistle Hill, and Merry Be Your Christmas. The Mirabilia Christmas trees are also beautiful, though I've only stitched one. I have all six and told myself I'd get one done a year, but...well, that hasn't exactly panned out. :) Take care!
Cute pillow finishes & WIPs. Come to the Garden looks like a fun one, I love anything Christmas, whimsical or Winter scenes to stitch. I'm still doing Fall new starts this month & 2 Christmas ones to begin as SALs. Tonight I started HOD, A Classic Christmas, next week will be a Heart in Hand, Doodles: Christmas.
Hi from Florida! Beautiful finishes and I love all your new starts and Christmas plans. Prairie school Santa’s are my comfort stitching.- that being said I’ve only done the mini prairie school Santa’s😂 - I have several others in my stash but have not started them yet. Thank you for sharing! Happy stitching!
I'm enjoying stitching Christmas Garden which has been reprinted in the Blackbird Designs book Home for the Holidays. Several other designs in that book are also on my stitching list. I've stitched several Prairie Schooler Santas also and one of my wips is Prairie Schooler Night Before Christmas. A fun Santa stitch.
Hi Lauren! 👏 Another fabulous flosstube video!! I have that booklet as well....Winds of Autumn! I've been wanting to stitch First Winds of Autumn for a long time. Lauren, I love all of your projects and I get so fired up about starting all the things. Where do you buy the large “hanks” of floss for your big projects?

The first Christmas design I'm going to work on this year is 'Heap on the Wood' by Brenda Gervais...soft colors, more wintery than Christmas-y? In fact, I'm thinking of changing the word 'Christmas' to 'winter' in the quote, just so I can leave it up through the winter. 🙂

There’s a lot of designers that do them. You might turn into a Christmas stitcher after all….😊
I love those Autumn and Winter samplers from Crocette a Gogo - they are huge but so so pretty! Also love the idea of having a tree of stitched ornaments ☺
LOVE the Magpie and the Moon you did! I am stitching Coffee and Eggs right now…it’s so fun! Do you mind sharing the name of your colors for the Snark-O- meter shawl? I love that shawl and love the colors you chose!

Lots of fun stuff you have going on! I also enjoyed your knitting! Would you mind giving me the name of the knitting needles you use? Thank you!!
I use ChiaoGoo red lace needles primarily :)
@@newhampshirestitcher Thank you so much! Never heard of them before, but I am always interested in good needles! I'll check them out!
