Nice that you decided to make your own Flosstube, you have so many things to show to us 😊 I really enjoyed your first video, and the fact that you included the rest of your crafts too. I am a knitter/crocheter too and I try my first steps on sewing. I'd love to learn how to spin yarn but I haven't given it yet a serious try, I only bought a spindle and a bad quality fleece, (at the period when we could only shop online), and then I forgot about it. There isn't even a quilting shop and that makes me even more sad because I'd like to give that a try too. But at least I have the stitching and the knitting/crocheting which I enjoy a lot. I wish we were living closer or that the shipping costs weren't killing the fun of ordering something from far away, because I really love your caddies. Thank you for watching and I’m happy you enjoyed it :) if you want some great Fiber to spin at a great price then you should check out Lyndhaven farms, great for beginners bc the Fiber length is long and easy to spin. You did a great job on your first flosstube! I've been wanting to start one for years but just haven't been organized enough to do so. Maybe I'll just wing it. I do tend to do seasonal stitching, not on purpose, but it just happens to work out that way. Halloween and fall are my favorite things to stitch, but I do have eclectic taste, so I'm all over the place in terms of style. Some of my favorite designers are Carolyn Manning, Bella Filipina, and the Witchy Stitcher, to name a few.
Glad you showed up on my feed. Another Canadian flosstuber. I am in NS but have lived all over as my dad and husband were military, including haida gwaii. Great first video!

I have the 100 Owls pattern and am very anxious to start it but I have other projects I need to work on first. I will certainly enjoy your showing progress on that project. See you next video!!
Hello Arica - so nice to see you decided to start doing this. I am seeing Samantha on Thursday evening at our Guild meeting. Looking forward to talking to her. Yes I love William Morris - have a few patterns for stitching. Beautiful fabrics. I tend to do seasonal stitching myself with other "neutral" designs in between. Looking forward to your next one - all of it - I cross-stitch as well as other kinds of embroidery, I sew and quilt and knit and have been an avid reader all my life - your video did it all - perfect.

Welcome to FlossTube- you did a great job! I really enjoyed your variety of projects. I love to do small seasonal projects for my dough bowl. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us
Crazy you mentioned you're from Abbottsford, when I was just talking to my husband the other day about spending a summer there as a counselor at Columbia Bible Camp some 27 years or so ago! I grew up in Seattle, so a trip out to Vancouver was always a fun getaway for my sisters and I.
Congratulations on your first show, I reslly enjoyed seeing how clever you are with your crafts and hearing about your life in Canada. I also love to stitch on SEASONAL projects. Looking forward to your next show

Wow Northern Ireland! The internet is so amazing :) thank you for taking the time to watch. When you say you are creating, are you creating/designing a piece or creating in terms of stitching a pattern?
@@FibersandFlossCanada I mean creating by doing lots of different crafts. If it's cross stitch or baking I just follow a pattern/recipe. For quilting I sometimes follow pattern but often just create something for the recipient, whatever is in my head. It's good to have busy hands and be making fun things

I was so happy to see that you started a Flosstube channel! I thoroughly enjoyed the video you did with Samantha this summer. I am also a knitter/spinner/quilter/stitcher/flosstuber from Canada…I lived for 35 years in the Lower Mainland but now call Atlantic Canada home. In answer to your sock heel question, I knit my socks cuff down (I realized that I much prefer decreasing over increasing while knitting, so I’m not a fan of toe up) and I generally use a heel flap and gusset. I look forward to seeing more of what you have to show in the future!
Thank you so much for watching :) huh…. I never thought about the decreasing versus increasing… I also prefer decreasing 🤔 maybe my next pair will be top down!

I’m all subscribed and ready to join you on your Flosstube journey! Thank you for sharing your time with us!

I really enjoyed this video. I also knit, sew, and stitch. I have no seasonal designs in progress at the moment. I ordered the peacock design as a kit around 25 years ago. That has been a work in progress ever since!

I wish we were living closer or that the shipping costs weren't killing the fun of ordering something from far away, because I really love your caddies. Anyway thanks for the fun video, I hope we'll see you soon again 🥰🧵🪡🧶✂🧷👝
Thank you for watching and I’m happy you enjoyed it :) if you want some great Fiber to spin at a great price then you should check out Lyndhaven farms, great for beginners bc the Fiber length is long and easy to spin. She will ship anywhere too but the cost of her Fiber is about 30% of what you find in the store
@@FibersandFlossCanada Thank you I'll try that 😊🧶
Seasonal.🙏
Good luck with the draw 🤞🏼
(Wish i could see you when you talk about the stitching, i am a lip-reader cuz i dont have so good hearing. ) You have stunning projects and the Mirabillias with the cards queens Are SO on my wish list! Lovly. My first fancy lady Will be Mad tea party i be starting today 🤗😍 regards, Gurli
Thank you for watching :) and thank you for your feedback Gurli, I should have considered accessibility more prior to filming… I will try my best to keep myself in the frame next time - thank you :)) Have fun with your new start today!
I enjoyed your floss tube, and I loved your Dutch Beauty! Thanks for sharing! I enjoy seasonal stitching.
Thank you! 😊 good luck with the draw 🤞🏼
The Dutch sampler is unbelievable, stunning and beyond. 40 count, dont know how you see it to stitch!! Love your channel. Already subscribed!! SEASONAL
I am a new stitcher and i am in total awe of your work. Wondering if when you start a new project you could show how you measure, how you determine where to start. SEASONAL
Thank you so much! During the day it’s easier to stitch than you think because of the light fabric, but at night I need glasses, lights and a magnifier lol
Thank you for that feedback Kathryn, yes I can share this on my next video :)
Thank you for watching! You should dive in, planning one seems to take to forever! We have some of the same fav designers!
I love all of your seasonal stitching. And I just wanted to say you are a natural keep up the great work awesome video.
Thank you so much! Do you have any holiday patterns in the works??

Glad you showed up on my feed. Another Canadian flosstuber. I am in NS but have lived all over as my dad and husband were military, including haida gwaii. Great first video!

I love NS and really enjoyed by visit to Haida Gwaii as well. Two amazing places.
Yayyyy!!! Welcome to flosstube. I did watch you on Hygge stitcher. I'm happy you're here. 🤗😁
Yay! Thank you!
Absolutely LOVED every moment of your FT! You are so talented and its so fun to see your stitching, sewing and knitting! WOW! All those beautiful yarns! I am definitely going to look up some of those crafters you mentioned! Would love to see your daughter’s makes as well! It so awesome she is in to the fiber arts! Thank you so much for sharing! Looking forward to watching more of you FT in the near future! Happy Crafting!
Thank you so much! I think Ava will be joining me at the end of the month to show her items :)
Congratulations on your Flosstube…I have stitched the 100 Owls, also Kringles….I love seasonal stitching.
Those are both such beautiful patterns! Good luck with the draw 🤞🏼
What a wonderful video, Arica! I loved the video that you and Samantha did together in August and am so happy that you have decided to make videos as well! Dutch Beauty is such a gorgeous sampler and I look forward to watching your progress! My friend and I plan to start it once she retires so hopefully in the next year or so (I have it kitted already). It was fun to see your beautiful knitting and sewing. Thanks so much and I am already looking forward to your next video! Happy stitching!
Thank you so much!! Your friend should hurry up and retire on the basis Dutch Beauty takes forever to stitch and so she should start it now lol
Enjoyed your video so much, you did such an amazing job. I hope you will continue to show us your progress and share your talents with us. I have the 100 Owls pattern and am very anxious to start it but I have other projects I need to work on first. I will certainly enjoy your showing progress on that project. See you next video!!
Thank you so much!
Love your video! Your stitching is Beautiful! I can’t wait for your next video ❤
Thank you so much! I will be posting a holiday episode in the next couple weeks :)
Thank you! Yes I’m rather envious of your guild meetings - I may have to move to Winnipeg just to attend haha. Thanks for watching :)
such a wonderful first video! thank you to Samantha for sending me your way. That SEASONAL magazine … you’re right so many gorgeous patterns. I’ve never stitched from a magazine before either :) fingers crossed. And good luck with that stunning peacock
Thank you for watching :) yes I agree so many beautiful patterns, I want to stitch them all but finishing is a whole different game ha!
I'm so glad you d3cided to make your own flosstube channel. I enjoyed watching very much. Seasonal.
Thank you so much!
Love your bags. Seasonal stitching is always fun.
Glad you decided to do your own Flosstube. I enjoyed watching you with Samantha.
Thank you! Although to be honest I’d much rather be filming with Samantha!
Great to see you’ve taken the plunge! Wonderful video - you’re definitely on my “must watch” list. I’m looking forward to seeing your progress on Dutch Beauty and I love your choice of Kringle’s as your seasonal stitch. It’s fantastic that you and your daughter can share your love of fibres. You’ve got me curious about spinning for sure!! Hope to see you again soon! 💜
Thank you for spending your time with me :) I’m contemplating a little video sharing how we make yarn 🤔
Welcome to FlossTube- you did a great job! I really enjoyed your variety of projects. I love to do small seasonal projects for my dough bowl. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us
Thank you so much!
Lovely to see all of your projects. Thank you!
Thank you! 😊
Oh wow! If you are ever up here visiting you should reach out :) thank you for watching!
Congratulations on your first show, I reslly enjoyed seeing how clever you are with your crafts and hearing about your life in Canada. I also love to stitch on SEASONAL projects. Looking forward to your next show
Thanks for tuning in :) what seasonal patterns are you working on this year?
@@FibersandFlossCanada I am working on the Summer pattern by The Blue Flower that was published in Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine, eventually I will have completed all the seasons. Summer is my first one to stitch. 😊 It's almost summer time here in Australia

I watched you on the video with Samantha and was glad to see you started your own! Great first video 😊
Thank you for taking the time to stitch with me :)
Finally had time to catch up with your first flosstube - and you are such a natural! Thoroughly enjoyed all your content, stitching, sewing and knitting, and can't wait to see your progress. I'm more of a monogamous stitcher and only have three projects but I really like the idea of doing little, seasonal smalls as well so the magazine would be so exciting to get me started. Looking forward to flosstube number 2! Kim ❤
Oh thank you! Yes the small seasonal stitches are fun and easy but then there’s the finishing haha
I so appreciate that you shared your spinning and knitting as well. So happy that you decided to do a flosstube! I may be stitching on some SEASONAL things. 🤞

Been away so I’m just now seeing your video. You did a great job, your lighting and room seem great and I could see everything in detail. Your work is beautiful and I enjoyed the video you made with Samantha. What a gift to have a lifelong stitching friend.
Thank you for watching :) I am so grateful to have such an amazing friendship with Samantha, she is just the absolute best ❤️
Great to see you have joined the flosstube gang. Lovely to stitch along and visit with you. I love starting a seasonal piece in the season but am all about the process of creating so just work on what I'm in the mood for. Look forward to seeing more. Hello and blessings from Northern Ireland!
Great first video. I did watch you with Hygge and glad you are doing your own.
Glad you enjoyed the video :) I hope to do more with Samantha in the future too ❤️
I really love your Dutch Beauty piece.
Thank you! It’s a really beautiful piece! I can’t wait to pull it out for my NYE stitch :)

Liked and enjoyed your floss tube. I just came across you today and liked all your crafting !😊 I liked and subscribed! Talking about seasonal, I will start baking Christmas cookies this weekend because I make so many different types. Will be wrapping some gifts that I already purchased!😊
Awesome! Thank you! You will definitely be ahead of the game come December 1st. Are you making any holiday crafts this year??
No but I wish I would allow myself more time and think about home made gifts. I just retired and hope to do more crafting.
Loved your video! I do seasonal stitching.
Thank you 😊 what are your plans for holiday stitching this year?
