    *CRAP! I filmed the backseat storage area for the Colorado but forgot to put it in the video! It has underseat and behind seat storage and a 60/40 split fold.*
    What are your thoughts on the Colorado? I'm excited to see a redesign!
    Check out my recent Ford Ranger video: ruclips.net/video/gbwxnVV9TGc/видео.html
    I'm hoping to get a Tacoma and Ridgeline video up soon...and still working on getting a Gladiator!

      I have a 2016 diesel 2wd. I get 35mpgs with it. 650+ miles on a tank. 84000 miles and the diesel has been solid. I chose 2wd because less maintenance and weight. In the winter i put snow tires on and throw some paving stones in the back for weight.... gets around like a 4wd. My only gripe is no push button start. I hate GM's ignitions because we all know the problems they had in 2009

      Pushbutton start is nothing to sweat over to me, But this and the Z71 absolutely should have LED Projectors or HID Projectors and LED Fogs. I really like the Colorado Z71 but Halogen projectors just feel wrong in the price. I mean they can stick LEDs into the Equinox Premiere and it sits in the same price point, yes its a crossover but still the same price point.

    Just wondering if the 2020 Colorado have the 8 speed transmission problems fixed yet. The 2017 ,2018,2019 have a lawsuit against the 8 speed transmission for shuddering an clunking or hard shifting. Like many,many people that bought Colorado's from 2017 to 2019 have faulty 8 speed transmissions ,like myself, Chevy won't do the right thing an fix the problem. Good luck on the 2020 👍🇨🇦

    Picking mine up in next few days. Yes you can get RST with luxury package, or if you dont want RST you can get the redline package and there is also a safety package. :)
    Only things im not getting compared to my current traverse is i dont get my dual heat/air system to sync and also there is no safety lights in mirrors to see who is coming next to you and there is no beeping noise in back up camera unless you get the safety package.
    Ps you should get a rubber piece for that compartment that you knocked on. If it didnt come with one, call your parts dept.
    Also maybe when you upgrade your package you get more USB ports cause im pretty sure the one i saw had one in the compartment.
    I hate that it doesnt come with a push button start or LED headlights but i may change those headlight bulbs out if i can.
    Also you mentioned the model your driving doesnt have the autostart when u stop.. Must be the model cause mine comes w it.

      I actually like the truck. Can’t understand why GM doesn’t smarten up and replace the current defective 8speed transmission with the jointly designed 10 speed used in the Ford F series and Ranger. Dropping that 3.6L V6 for their new 2.7L turbocharged 4 banger would make this a near perfect truck.

      @marks6072 4 года назад +1

      ConcreteComa -to be clear, I like the exterior styling. Interior looks to be 10-15 years out of date. Additionally it’s overpriced for the features you get. GM could do a lot better but they don’t. That’s why I don’t buy 1. Cheers!

    Not a fan of most GM interiors and this is no exception. Cheap is what comes to mind instantly looking at that interior. I can appreciate the 3.6 V6 as standard. In my wife's Traverse it's a good reliable motor with regular maintenance and synthetic oil. Not sure why GM chooses not to add a grab handle on the drivers side but they offer one as a part for you or your mechanic to install. Grabbing the wheel while getting in puts unnecessary stress on the steering wheel and column especially if your overweight or a bigger person. My pick is the Ranger, it looks better albeit a little narrower but better interior more torque and if it's like a F150 should last. But I can also see this truck last too just pick the right one. For me I've owned several GM and Ford vehicles and GM had the worst record considering more owned 8 out of 6 pickups SUVs and cars. So maybe for you it's the opposite or both do you wrong but for me that's the case ✌❤

  • @Ramlock_21
    @Ramlock_21 4 года назад +1

    The Biggest problem I fine with these trucks, GM isn’t really consistent with them. Meaning I had an LT with the Bose sound system, and my Diesel ZR2 doesn’t have one. I can’t believe for the RST is doesn’t have a heated steering wheel. That card looking slot thing that’s just the empty space where your trailer braking would go as again GM isn’t really consistent with these trucks, and if you don’t know what to look for you just might end up with a lesser truck then you would like haha.

      @PrimeAutotainment  4 года назад +2

      Hey Stacy! Thank you. Yeah it’s weird because a lot of the trucks on the lots are 2wd here...especially the midsize trucks. Thanks Nolan for the good review! Personally I would pick the GMC Canyon over the Colorado. Sad to see no update on the interior!! I hate the gauge layout! In a truck you need more gauges than just the water temp!!! As far as the RST IMO I am tired of the blackout look. Esp on a black truck. Needs something to break up all that black. But I'd prefer this because of the V6 over the Rangers turbo 4. Just don't think the longevity is there. Would love a 305 V8 in the Colorado/Canyon but that won't happen from the factory. Keep up the good work Nolan!

    I like the look of the appearance package, but it’s probably not worth the extra $3,000. Overall design is still handsome but could use an update. I agree with you on the old school reflector head lamps. They cheapen the overall look of the truck. The interior is a letdown though in terms of design and quality. Whoever designed the rubber coated remote button and steering wheel buttons needs to be fired. They aren’t anywhere need as durable as they should be especially in a truck. They also need to do away with the trouble prone 8-speed automatic. Overall, I like the overall look and design of the Ranger and the fact that you can get a bit more extras in it.

      Remember when halogens were touted as the 'white' light? They were all the rage back in the day. I remember helping my dad upgrade to sealed halogen lights.

    I own 2016. The truck is ok but it is a rattle trap. Has been in the shop multiple times and is still the same. I if you want a work truck then I would say buy it. But, if your looking for a modern luxury truck buy something else.
