@@azandy99Fisherman’s Wharf was always a crappy place to be even in its heyday. With all the lovelier parts of the city I’ll never understand why tourists would want to go there. It’s filled with tourist shops and tourist traps. There’s a Madame Toussoads in every major US city. You don’t need that SF tourist hoodie. Plenty of nicer, yet still touristy, spots in other parts of SF that aren’t so yucky. Have people forgotten how bad certain parts of SF used to be in the 70s-90s? I grew up in gang infested poverty stricken neighborhoods that became gentrified in the last 20 years. Cities, like anything else in this world, goes through things in cycles. Give it time and it will rebound. SF is hardly the only city going through this. Maybe a larger proportion than compared to other cities, but certainly not an outlier. I’m not saying there aren’t problems that need fixing, but these reports are clearly biased and taken out of historical or current context.

Then when they’re in the UK illegally, our government gives them free accommodation, free food, all kinds of welfare, interest free no time limit on repayment loans of £1000s and give them money to buy clothes etc……Then these people claim the UK is racist, the free food they get isn’t up to their standards, the free accommodation isn’t good enough (they get 4 to 5 start hotel rooms free of charge for an unlimited a period of time), they claim they’re being targeted with violence when it’s them committing all those types of crimes and they complain that the £1000s the get for free every month isn’t enough.
The government has even sacked every staff member in hotels, so illegals can stay there and they hire immigrants as security.
The government is just after giving military families less than one weeks notice to vacate their homes and military base, because they need to house illegal immigrants there….Free of charge with no rent, council tax or energy bills of course, because the fighting age men are too oppressed and scared to be paying bills apparently.

But then the governor cleans it once Xi Jingping comes to take a visit and then lets it go to hell after he leaves, it’s ridiculous, they could’ve had the entire city cleaned up the entire time but didn’t until “guests” came, ridiculous!

They vote for these awful politicians who trash the entire state, then they get upset and go “…it’s not the same anymore! We’re leaving!” And so they move to a red state or a red city and literally vote for THE EXACT SAME policies that destroyed their previous state/city… it’s an endless cycle. If you wanna vote in any US election, you should be able to pass an IQ test or a basic high school civic class. If we did that, I guarantee you, the entire US map would turn RED

Democrat states are turning into 4th world country,
Why 4th, because I visited many east Europe countries, visited Ukraine and Russia and I never saw horrors you describe in a video 😮
I think Russia and Ukraine was in similar state after Soviet Union was destroyed, but they recovered since that!
Where US, especially democratic states are going?
If you would speak with Ukrainians or Russians about famous US cities aka LA, NY, San Francisco, they would describe life luxury and expense.
People in shock when they hear that NY is full of Rats, while they see them like once a year max.
In shock that you will get smallest human size "cage" for ridiculous amount of money and it is not a shock if there would be roaches and how dilapidated Subway is.
Or how LA and San Francisco look now.
      It is devastating.
      Oh, safety,
I was walking in many east European cities at night, as well as in Ukrainian and Russian cities.
It was safe. I never got harassed. Maybe once police just checked on me by small talk as it was like 3 a.m.
Obviously yes, sometimes you can see homeless people, but rarely. No piss and sh*t on streets.
Every city has their own drug users, but maybe you something if you go into abandoned buildings (actually in those countries they were removed completely or at less covered by seet metal etc in some counties so no access there).
      But open street use? Wow

In 2019 while on a solo trip to SF I was attacked by one of those homeless people. They aren't just homeless, they are also drug addicts and mentally deranged. It was traumatizing, the homeless person ran after me, cornered me, and was hovering above like he was going to strike me while yelling profanities at me. He looked like he was demon possessed. A young Starbucks barista was the only one to stand up for me, while the rest of the people ignored the situation. Its like the locals are so desensitized by the problem now that they don't care anymore. I swore that day that I'd get on the plane back home and never return to SF ever again. It's a nightmare. No one warned me, I had no idea how bad it was. Edit: And when I got home and told people about what happened to me, not many people believed me because all they remember is how great SF was, and how it's still considered a very famous and sought after travel destination. Please head our warnings, it's not what it used to be.

I just spent 2 weeks there on Van Ness, while you see some homeless there are a lot of people there, I saw police, fire trucks lots of stuff going on. I’ve also been there to see baseball games had a wonderful time and very safe. I was there because my husband had heart surgery and while it was a difficult time, I walked to and from the hospital about 4 blocks every day with no issues. Nowadays crime and homelessness is everywhere.
