rik still sounds great here. I need this triumph reunion to happen before his voice tapers off and its too late. he'll always be a great guitar player but the voice always goes first.
This is not even close to displaying how good Rik is . Search for more videos from this show which I believe is the NAMM show in Anaheim . He plays a jazz piece called Taste of Steel. Rik is a real musician. And he's as good as they come.
I love Rik Emmett. Great singer and guitarist. I remember the Thunder Seven tour at Alpine Valley, WI. I had front row seats with 2 male friends, who jumped the fence to meet the band. I stayed in my seat, although I would have loved to meet TRIUMPH.
holy shit---that was awesome---im really amazed at how well rik emmett still sounds---always a hell of a guitar player---the fact that he can still hit those falsetto vocals when he wants is amazing
soooo underrated...We still love Rik, been a fan since the late 70s, gad I feel old. I also have glasses now! :)

It breaks my heart when I watch the documentary on the band breakup and subsequent fallout.
