  • It's been almost forty years since Russell Causley murdered his wife Carole Packman but despite never revealing the whereabouts of her body, Causley will now face the UK's first public parole hearing.
Amongst those watching closely will be his daughter, Sam Gillingham - who has been campaigning for years to ensure he’s never released from prison. She recounted a conversation that was overheard of her father speaking to his mistress saying: "I have already got rid of one wife, don't make me get rid of another."
Criminologist Dr Soham Das also joined to discuss more about the case being the first public hearing and the controlling behaviour of Russell Causley.
    Broadcast on 04/10/22

Does anyone have the video of early interviews with Sam? It was featured on RUclips for a LONG time and for some reason, it has been deleted. I added this footage to my list of favorites. The reason for my request, is that I was THERE at that time! I was a resident at the Hotel Tralee on the Westcliff, in St Michael's road, (Manager: Mr Beesly). Sam was a waitress at the hotel, and actually served MY meals. It would be so nice to see her again after all these years. Should you be able to help, even an upload to RUclips, then I would be most grateful...Thank you.
