Took a lot of courage as a japanese youtuber and adventurer to talk about Hiroshima Rion! You did amazing in sharing that heartfelt message and I too echo that sentiment. With the way things are going on in the world right now, Japan should be a LEADER in trying to express its views and wishes for PEACE. Mankind tends to repeat history so often and we really should move on and be kind to each other
Otherwise I love what I saw in Hiroshima and Miyajima island! Looks way more relaxed and less crowded than Kyoto and I LOVE that. Def takes more effort to get there so thats why. My next trip to Japan will feature this area so I am really looking forward to visiting the western part of Japan. I also want to see Fukuoka as well. That too would be on the Itinerary! Glad everything came out amazingly for you Rion and that sunset view over the water with the shrine torii in the middle of the water was breathtaking. ありがとうございます!🦁GAOOOO!!!

Another interesting video - Hiroshima - a reminder for the mankind, but obviously not that much visited as it should be. The park and the ruined building even more impressive at night.
Your report on Itsukushima (thanks for explaining the real name of the island) is real special.especially while showing the Daisho shrine - a kind of a hidden spot, for in comparisson with the overcrowded Itsukushima shrine, noone except you was visiting this very significant and authentic place with a lot of even romantic elements in its atmosphere. You, dear Rion, are truly a master in picking up atmosphere with your cam. The sunset shots are your specialty and the red Tori in the sea under the spleen of sunset is very close to art shooting. It was fun to listen to your comparisson between Nara and Miyajima deers. Yes, the difference is obvious but it seems that their island life is less hectic, so they are more relaxed. Anyhow, it is interesting to go to the island both with a small boat and the ferry - for quite an experience. In any case the visit of the island ist must see, when staying at Hiroshima. Well done, really a great pleasire to watch.
Eager to see the travel serial to be continued. GAAOOO!!!!

We just came back from Japan last Monday. Two weeks ago we were in Hiroshima. I really liked it. It did not feel too overcrowded to me, at least not compared to Kyoto or Osaka. Can you please make a video about Onomichi one day if you haven't already? We also went to Onomichi for one day and I totally fell in love with this town!

Miyajima deers seem to be less aggressive than in Nara, maybe I'm wrong, they don't look "shabby" for me 😆

If you hold a JR Rail Pass you can actually save the 17$. Use JR Train to Miyajimaguchi from Hiroshima. There is a JR Ferry going to the island from there and its free if you have a valid Rail Pass. Time is comparable to the small ferry you used.
Please continue to create these nice updates. Cant wait to come back to Japan once more.

Hello Rion, waw thank you for bringing us around to another adventure. I enjoy the video at the Itsukushima Shrine, it is very peaceful. But like you said, some area looks a bit scary. Haha...just walk faster to pas the area. The Tori Gate is huge. When I go there in future, I need to add 1 hour to queue for photo. Nice sunset by the way & the BGM is nice too. Your music taste is getting better Rion. Nice Nice. You may do "reel" or " shorts". It will be fun to watch. Loving it. Cant wait for your adventure to your Mum's hometown if I didnt remember wrongly. Let's go...... GAO.

Your video inspires me to visit Hiroshima & Miyajima one day ✨ When I taught my summer school students origami, I learned more about Sadako Sasaki, whose statue is at the Peace Memorial, and her cranes. In an interview, her older brother said their family isn’t bitter & sincerely wishes for peace. 🕊️ Hope one day I could offer my own 1,000 cranes as a prayer for hurts to heal & brokenness to be restored. 🙏 The torii gate ⛩️, during the sunset, was such a beautiful reminder to live in harmony with nature as well.

I actually have stayed at the rihga royal hotel in Kyoto as well as Tokyo. They are very comfortable tourists style hotels. Gosh rion you must.have a good bladder to hold all those liquids. Lol. I love to visit miyajima island but you must get there early in the morning to explore all of it. And yes the best and cheapest way to visit is using the JR rail then the JR ferry. And yes the deers are a little more scruffy at miyajima island compared to the good looking ones at Nara. I'm guessing the Nara deers are more city style then the ones at miyajima island are more island style.. I loved seeing the night time tour of the peace park area.

The Hiroshima Peace Museum was super crowded when we went (and it was a weekday), but we did get to see a couple of schools on excursion performing a ceremony in front of the Sadako Sasaki monument.
Also, Miyajima was also very crowded when we went. We did get those mini rice paddle's and had them write our names on them, too. Nice souvenir.

Took this trip a couple of days ago, but stayed two nights in Hiroshima at the ANA Crowne Plaza. It was our third or fourth trip to Hiroshima, so we did not do anything with the dome or peace memorial. Though I will say, I would like to see every world leader required to visit Hiroshima within their first month or two in office. As a 68 year old American, I get a very unsettling feeling every time I visit the dome.
Love Miyajima. The food, particularly the oysters, is excellent. As to the Crowne Plaza, can’t recommend it. The service was good and the lounge was very nice, but the room was disappointing. We’ve stayed in Japanese business hotels before, but this room was small even compared to a standard business hotel, yet premium prices were charged. I’d likely stay in something closer to the station for any return visit.

This tour was new, yet how many hours did it take to travel each city?

Your explanation when you arrived to the dome was 100%. As long as we learn from historical mistakes no matter which side you're on, then you learn from it. Thank you for taking us on your daily adventures Rion. Love the explanations and soundtracks! I see so many foreigners in your videos now!
