Some great stills and sequences there. I like the way you wait until the gates open for road- the sort of detail that photographers sometimes miss (in the future when someone is railway modelling and needs to know gates timing sequences etc!). The 071s going past at full tilt on the timber trains are excellent. All the best and thank you.

i must say all the 071 and 080 locos and 220 locos are brilliant locos to be on the line :) even the 071 and 080 locos used to be in passenger service and i dont think they'll return in passenger service

Yes they are all great locomotives Liam!.I'd say they will end there days on Irish Rail operating Freight Train Services.They also operate the odd RPSI Rail Tour or other Rail Tours now and again as well as the Freight Train Services.

great catches mate :) wait there's a westport/waterford and waterford/ballina timber train? i did'nt know there was a waterford/ballina and westport to waterford timber empty train. they were introduced a long time ago am i right?
