Great Capture, I always loved Mullingar, recently got done up,well by done I mean everywhere all been repainted and new signs up, inside the actual station is done up aswell.

Thanks a lot for your Comment David!😃.The 17:10ConnollyStation/Sligo Train Service and the 16:55Sligo/ConnollyStation Train Service had a good few getting on and off.The 17:17ConnollyStation/Longford Commuter Train Service only had 4 people getting off no one boarded.

No it has stairs down to an underground walk across to Plarform's 2 and 3 under the tracks Liam.

whats the 3rd track used for at mullingar? im not talking about the sligo direction or the dublin line im referring to the one beside the dublin line? is that used for the 20:47 service to mullingar? and after when the service terminates at mullingar does it return back to connolly empty?

I'm not exactly sure what Platform 3 was used for at Mullingar Train Station?.It might have not had a purpose only until a few months ago when the 20:47ConnollyStation/Mullingar Train Service was introduced which as far as I know uses Platform 3 at Mullingar Train Station.I think it stables in Platform 3 at Mullingar Train Station for the night and returns on an empty stock movement to ConnollyStation the next day.

Yes that announcement was made by a member of staff in the Ticket Office Liam.
