Not sure if someone informed you already haha but the holes in the bus ticket shows you the estimated Kilometers of your destination and the price you have to pay. :)
Wish I was there.. I don't know if you still remember me Toto Mico? I remember those days when you said you have a lot of memories when you were a kid in Bata... when you ask me something now that I know that you already know the answer.. Just ask your Mom Bern what was that...
I was lucky enough to do a Habitat build in the PI. We had sisig several times--loved it. Sang karaoke and figured out how to cross Manila streets. Watch for a local and run right behind him, LOL. Absolutely loved the PI, especially the people. I'll definitely be watching all of your posts.
@@nicoleandmico The build was in Pinamalayan on Oriental Mindoro, just south of Luzon. On that island is Whites Beach. That was one of the most fun days of my life. On the way off the beach we got waylaid into a large company party with food, drinks, dancing and karaoke. The people were so friendly and welcoming. You're right, they do know how to throw a party. Enjoy the PI and be sure to go to the beautiful beaches in the south.
Hi I’m your new subscriber from Long Beach California. This is the third video so far, just watched your Q&A blog so I got interested. The first one is when her parents got to Manila. It’s a good thing your relatives are from Pampanga, where good dishes are, like Sisig, because I heard it’s the culinary city of the Philippines. It’s close to Angeles and Clark City, now becoming a modern city which you’ll find out later. Best place to start your journey in Philippines is having a party with the Filipinos. Just like you I was born and raised in Manila. I migrated to US in year 2000 with my only son because I’m married to a Filipino American guy whom I met in Manila when he visited. Just after 2 yrs I’m in the US. My son who is now 24, can understand Tagalog but don’t speak in Tagalog. Manila is such a very busy place.
Sisig has to be eaten on a sizzling hot plate with a couple of runny eggs. Please try it again. "Gerry’s Grill" has many locations in Manila and serves a good one.
