I lived in Singapore for three years and still miss it. It's the safest and cleanest place that I have ever lived in - your first impressions were correct. As others have said - hawker centres offer some awesome and very affordable food. If you eat like a local - it's cheap. Eat like a westerner and its $$$ lol. Local food is way better :)
Hurray! Welcome to Singapore 🇸🇬 I hope you enjoy exploring our little city. I’ve watched your South American vlogs extensively and it feels pretty surreal to see you covering my own country in a similar fashion.
Thank you for viisiting Singapore and your wonderful comments about our Singapore. I loved your vlog. You guys can enjoy cheap food at our local hawker centres. There are many free places you guys can explore to. Cheers !!!
I’ve been watching this nice young couple since India, nice to see their fun and adventures together now in the Philippines and soon in a new country,I like their excitement and positivity,it’s uplifting to watch ✌️❤️🇬🇧much love mico and nicole
It is not too expensive exploring Singapore. Eat at hawker centers or food courts. Cheap and good food with many options and varieties and cultures. Travel via MRT and busses. The MRT and busses will take you to many of the touristy places cheaply. There are free or cheap attractions you can visit too. Do enjoy your stay here.
eating at hawkers is a must in Singapore both for the experience of different food culture and cheapness. Also do consider trying a mix of all the food at the hawker from the Malay/Chinese/Indian stalls. ( order a dish each if you can eat that much! ) if you like to see a different side after the touristy parts of singapore you can consider going to the Heartlands like Bishan/Ang Mio Kio or East Coast. Also do consider Bak Kut Teh ( its a peppery Pork soup ) a restaurant chain called 'Song Fa' which has afew outlets around Singapore makes a good bak kut teh ! and at Hawkers Mince meat noodles with Extra Vineger. Welcome to SG! Hope you have a good time
9:18 they just turn off the waterfall for an few minutes then the waterfall will come back. It’s like how you need to take a break for a few minutes when you’re tired, then you go back to doing what you were supposed to do
As a tribute to your trip to the Philippines, I marathon- rewatched your Pinoy series ...haha. and as a proud Bacolodnon who hasn't been home for some time myself, it was indeed a nice trip down hometown memory lane. Thank you both for sharing , and here's to more N&M escapades! 😊
Thank you so much for watching! We hope to visit the Philippines again but a lot sooner than 15 years. It was such a great experience and we hope to make it our home one day! Thank you again for joining us on the journey ☺
There are Jollibee in Singapore. And if you ever miss Filipino food, you can have them at Lucky Plaza Orchard prepared by Filipinos. Lucky Plaza and Far East Plaza are also 2 of the cheapest place you can have your meals at on the Orchard Shopping Belt.
just stumbled upon your vlog :-) liked and sub'ed your channel ! reminded me of what's it's like to be young, love and zest for life's adventures :-) hope you had fun and fond memories here :-) and many many more adventures in your future trips ... take care !
We have jollibee in sg Haha u just gotta find which mall its at And dk if u noticed but the wet floor signs in changi airport are actually banana peel shaped so its rlly cute
Nice video, thanks . I agree with the widely held view that Changi is the world's best airport. (However, I'm confused - most western nations don't need a visa (and don't pay anything) to enter either Singapore or Philippines (PH still requires the - free - eTravel Health pass as of 2023).
Hi guys. I’ve been through that airport a couple of times. I think there are better airports in the region. Singapore has the ugly carpets on their floor. They have decent lounges, and amenities though. Hong Kong airport is where it’s at!

Haha so true 😝
Jollibee is almost everywhere here
Why didn’t you eat at the airport?
It was very pricey and we just wanted to get closer to our hostel for the evening.
Can you send a link to the SIM card, please? I'll be in SG in about 10 days and $12 for a SIM card is awesome!
there really are Jollibee stores in SG.
We never knew! Thanks for the tip!
Eat at coffeshops. Its cheaper
There are Jollibee in Singapore 😅.
We never knew that!
Great place - They call Singapore a “fine” city (you get fined for everything) 😁 chewing gum, spitting, a dirty car….
