I have bl60 sensored esc and 2845 hobbywing sensored motor 4500kv it is absolutely bananas I changed to 70t spur bc my track is pretty tight and not very long I also dropped down to a 14t pinion and the torque is crazy, ive got it set on punch level 5 and it still will pop a wheelie if you nail it, I wish the motor mount was better but it's still the best small track rc I have
I think these 1/18 size are going to be just what the doctor ordered for alot of people. My typhon grom is right up my alley! I'll be looking into that one you have!!😊
Yup, seems there has been a shift to smaller rcs. I think the plethora of small-scale RCs on, say, Momazon, has dictated what some of the longer standing companies are producing.
Whats good BIGBRIS, I knew that little buggy was going to fly, you said I'm going to use a 3s, those little wheels or going to balloon and that buggy is going to be a little rocket "NICE"😄 I think that was a cool little project.. P.S. don't stop the BASH and the FUN stay blessed My brother 😀
Last time i was into RC was when nitro was king and before the electric revolution. Im thinking about jumping back in with one of these little guys to compliment my Muggy.
I just found that TA releases a *new* Reflex 14B kit in May - can't wait to get my hands on one and add decent electronics & metal gears! Btw where do you get the uprades from? Can't find metal gears so far.
You know, I got it out there and suddenly I wanted to drive responsibly. This seems like a grown man's little buggy. And as such I will be doing further upgrades 😁
@@bigbristv thanks. So 3s is the battery? So need 1 of them as well? I race 1/8th buggy. But saw the a few weeks ago. Looks cool for the back garden racing, Cheers,
Bro, I KNOW! I looked up the dimensions to compare before I ordered it to make sure it would fit. Exactly the same. But when I put them side by side...😶🫨🫢😅
Bro, that Kevin Talbott impression had me 💀🤣😂

Oh I should have mentioned I have the truggy not the buggy
Insane!
Do you think the truggy handles differently?
Awesome video. You really sold me on the 14b. It just looks so well designed and easy to work on. Again, awesome video for sure. 👍🏆
It is a good rig once you know how to set that gear mesh. Thanks! 😊

@@bigbristv I am looking to buy one today, RTR, woth radio and battery!
Love your video's.
It's an excellent RC so far. Comes out of the box set up really nicely. You'll see. Enjoy yours brother!
@@bigbristv just ordered! But, how did you install a fan? Size? Did it plug into a receiver port?
Thank you.
It's a 25mm fan that I stuck with tape between the servo and motor (where the receiver was). It's plugged into the receiver's aux port.
I got the one with the yellow paint it's such a nice paying job I bought one like yours so I didn't tear up the original agama model
I'm going to pick that body set up, too. Need it to get the stickers for the white wing 😮
Good stuff as always my friend!!
Thanks!

i wonder how the drivetrain will hold 3s, some guys have issues w the 14MT spur gear , but its not the same as the T and B spur
I'm already having issues due to the way it mounts in. Been looking for a solution. About to open her up again right now...
Hope the new gears make it bulletproof!
So do I bro, so do I. They come in tomorrow so here's to hoping!
What up bigbristv!! I have the same esc in my grom. It burned out in the first 2 weeks. Keep your receipt and package label. Just incase / warranty.
Oh man, thanks for the heads up. What motor were you running? What voltage?
@@bigbristvi was running it on my granite grom, quicrun 2435 4500kv on the stock battery. 2s 1400 30c
Maybe it was the larger tires? Hope you were able to get it sorted out man, that's unfortunate.
Last time i was into RC was when nitro was king and before the electric revolution. Im thinking about jumping back in with one of these little guys to compliment my Muggy.
You do that and I'll get a nitro. Deal? 😁😆
@bigbristv deal sir.
@@benf1111 Deal.
@@bigbristv you in NYC? That's so cool you've got a course nearby.
@benf1111 yup, in Manhattan.

Got the parts from Amain. Either direct from the site of their ebay store.
This is the new version
@@User3eighty4 Yes, but RTR. I prefer the *kit* version.
@@bigbristv Thanks, pal! 🙂 Any source for metal diffs too yet?
@NUeB_RCFPV I'm not sure if you're looking for the internal gears to be metal but the ones I ordered are the ring and pinion gears in metal.
What's good bro .....what park is that you at.
Was good. Highbridge Mountain Bike Track. 191st & Amsterdam. 🤙
Good looking bro next time I'm in the city I'm go there.
Maybe the 14 truggy wheels and tires would help it backflip. Not that I’d be backflipping an associated or anything.

Awesome, little buggy, Cani ask what have you changed from stock, Really quick now,
Only change from stock that contributed to speed was the Hobbywing esc allowing me to run 3S. Amazing, right?
@@bigbristv thanks. So 3s is the battery? So need 1 of them as well? I race 1/8th buggy. But saw the a few weeks ago. Looks cool for the back garden racing, Cheers,
Yes, it comes with an 1800mah 2s lipo (for the rtr version) so going up to 3s and then more mah an c gives it punch!
@@bigbristv hi thanks for info, happy racing bud,
No worries 👍
That rooftop track needs some carpet!
I know right? 😁
how is it NOT a HW 16bl30!? its identical on the outside, except color.
Yeah exactly the same thing lol. Except for the heat sink and name…l I never noticed until now
Bro, I KNOW! I looked up the dimensions to compare before I ordered it to make sure it would fit. Exactly the same. But when I put them side by side...😶🫨🫢😅
I think HW does these rebrands but limits stuff, maybe due to cost or whatever. Same thing with Spektrum escs.
It's an awesome vehicle
It is! I really miss mine 😢
Speed runs in the city😂😂😂😂
In traffic! 🤪 jus wildin!
@@bigbristv Gotta have big boy skills to keep it in one piece, not much room for error.
That's a fact! 💯
gears sound tight
The loosened up eventually.
Go up on pinion bro
Then it REALLY would be illegal 😅
Too small, my 1/10th buggy is almost too small.
I feel you bro
