  • Had this waiting to be edited for a few weeks. I was hoping to get permission to use the photos of Urban Explorer and I did write to him/her. Anyway, they're such awesome and rare shots that I had to use them 🧐 Apologies for the spidery text reproduction and other errors 😎

That would explain why I felt the creepy energy. I went to a star fort in Italy, unknowingly, until recently and that was a creepy sort of place as well. Sorry I know it's your home town but it's got a weird energy. I think the UK as a whole has a very negative vibe. You feel so much lighter when you go abroad and not just because you are on holiday. I think we are dragged down to a lower vibe by our evil and corrupt past and our part in the current enslavement of mankind.
I wonder if Brean Down fort, is a star fort it's another oddity on a piece of land that sticks out. Sketchy history, the usual stuff and it's got a moat.
Now you mention that it looks mud flooded it reminded me of The Cloisters at Lacock Abbey where they filmed some of the Harry Potter films (surprised, not) and the floors are covered in mud and very uneven and underground, of a fashion. Lacock is clearly a mud flooder if you look at the outside but your mention of mud floors gave me an ah ha moment.
I think the National Trust know this stuff, they must so many of the buildings they own are mud flooded and clearly older than the bs they tell you. Gatekeepers of the truth.
    Great research by the way.

Universal Babe It's not really my home town as I was born in the North of England... I'm a Lancashire lass 😇 The island does have a very heavy energy and is all stone... the isle of stone. It's a masonic stronghold too... it's sort of tucked away down on the South Coast but I think a lot of weirdness happens there. 2 prisons on the island as well, great cover for something you don't want investigated... a prison. I was a loner as a young teen and used to walk the island or ride my bike over by the prison and I can tell you it's like being in another world there at times.
Harry Potter is full of clues... I had a look at Brean Down... it looks a lot like the Verne! I see it has a battery as well, and the escarpments.

jaxdreaming I found two weird stories of Brean fort. One said it was used for experimental military stuff and another where a paranormal team went there at night and got some funny readings. Again owned by NT. Its idiotically out of the way with no easy access. You have to climb the Down and it's the far end although there is a private road I guess the military used.
I love the bit you say you were a loner, we all were that's why we are on this quest 😂😂😂😂
I was talking to Hubbie about NT and I can name so many mud flooder sites I have visited. Lacock, Woodchester, Clevedon Court, Chedworth, and Tynesfield which is probably a mud flooder but a Gothic revival that no one knows who built. Lol.
I was born on Gibraltar which is a weirdness all of its own. Part of the pillars of Hercules for starters and a whole load of history wrapped in myth. I have been inside the rock, it's full of tunnels and spooky as hell. Again a military site in a strategic position. Why has it got Barbary apes? How did they get there? None in Spain.

I've caught some great skies down there... simply amazing over the sea. I'm going back down over Xmas I think, to see the parents, so will try to get over to Portland. 🌟

Great shout. I've just had a good look at it on Google Earth 3D and it sure looks like a starfort to me, too.
