      One of my favourite places too! I’m a history teacher and Nothe Fort was the reason I fell in love with History.

    I’ve been watching you’re videos for a while and just found this video. I also went here every year whilst I was young and it sparked my interest (obsession) in history too. I have so many memory’s here. Including the timewalk museum they had too 😅

    I find it curious, in the city of Coquimbo in Chile, there is one of those original Armstrong cannons from the Victorian era lying in the open and still in good shape, it is exactly in Fort Lambert. It is an interesting and impressive piece of history

    I visited twice while in the area and was impressed with the fort but disappointed that staff parked their cars inside the fort. I complained because it looked so poor and was assured that it would be looked in to but I guess nothing has been done. The simple solution is to issue staff and volunteers with passes for the adjoining car park but would involve staff walking 100m to work. Simple but probably too much to expect.
