These dudes should have their heads held high. Injuries and exhaustion were the the two primary reasons they didn't win. Next year is going to be special for the Knicks. This loss will only look to motivate this team and I'm here for it.

I do think Thibs needs to look in the mirror & figure out when & how to get his main guys some rest throughout the regular season (& in the playoffs) though.
You casuals really don't watch the game. All you casuals thought they'd win Game 7, injuries or not. The reason they lost is cause they were thoroughly outplayed on the defensive side of the ball by a team not known for their defense. Where the real Knick fans at? These casuals just think basketball is about offense
@@JRMason-ri4ii Thibs definitely has a track record dating back to Derrick Rose and the Bulls of over exhausting guys and not using his full roster. The only reason I would hesitate on using that same criticism this year is because of the amount of injuries. As a head coach he needs to tell guys "No" especially these young dudes when it comes to playing the full game. In the postseason it made sense but not the regular season.

Knicks has 3 of their starters out, but we still went to game 7. Hart playing injured.
Not much we can do. It is what it is. Pacers simply don’t miss, I’ve never seen anything like that before.

Jalen Brunson gave everything he had and so did all the Knick players. Im not a basketball fan but I did follow yhe playoffs. Football is my sport but this Knicks team are champions in every sense of the word. I am proud of the way these men wld not give up when you could see they were playing through a lot of pain. Congratulations Knicks ya did good!!!

It’ll be interesting to see the Knicks with most of them back healthy. They just need Brunson, DiVincenzo, OG, Randall, Heartenstein starting with Hart, McBride, Bogdanovic, Precious coming off the bench like they had in January when they went 14-2 and seemingly blowing out every team they had faced. Mitchell was injured so I didn’t even include him but imagine his defense adding into the roster? Even if they don’t add anyone new and just bringing them all back and healthy will bring them to the finals next year. We lost but I’m so proud of this team. Thank you Knicks!

To make it to game 7 with the group of guys we had left with barely a rotation compared to what the Pacers could do regarding rotations was appreciated from this Knicks fan. @@kenrice2638 I'm actually not that big of a knicks fan. I just think they finally have a solid team they can improve upon. The denver nuggets weren't a threat until like two year ago. A team needs to have some type of base success and then the missing pieces can be filled. Also if they were't dealing with 5 main players being injured they would have cleared the pacers.
Pacers were hitting their shots and the Knicks had a thin bench and were tired and banged up. No excuses though.
Knicks improved each year slowly, watched them grow a ton. Its still a bright future i just hope injuries dont ruin how special the knicks felt and were

One thing that always jumps out at me over the past 20 years or so. The children of former players almost *always* speak much, much better than their fathers did. Most players of the 70s/80s/90s were born in the 50s/60s/70s when, let's be honest, maybe only 10% of Black children had access to high quality early childhood and primary education. Now, here in the 2010s and beyond, the sons of many of those players are becoming prominent, and in 30 seconds you can hear the generational benefit of their fathers' wealth on them. This makes me very, very happy.
New York has something to look forward to :) see ya in at least 2nd round if not further next season!
I'm so proud of this Knicks team! Knicks are in a good place as an organization! We will compete and win for many years with this management, coaches, and core of players + an addition or two. I'm a die hard Knicks fan I remember our championship when willis Reed took us to the championship.
Pacers moved the ball like the knicks moved with OG and Randle healthy. Lately no movement and JB didn't break their defense like he used to do in other games. Thibs should have used wider rotation with Sims and size and pressure acers when they kick out the ball. Also he had all series to figure out how to help JB get up the floor and thibs did a great job but he can get you so far. Also most of his success with changes in starting rotation came because of injuries and not because he like to do so. But thibs is getting better. He should stay. Better than starting over with a knew coach.
This is his first team in this Team (with his old teammates) but just saying they have plenty of room to grow
