    JT is suffering from his young success. He was going up against prime Lebron then broke through for a finals run. He’s doesn’t get a pass for last year but we shouldn’t measure him by being a 19-24 year old and not being able to get over two of the greatest players in their prime in Curry and Bron but the time is definitely now. They have the best team but people talking about making major changes is crazy. Brown and JT still in their mid 20s. This the age when bron and Jordan started to win championships

      C’s just thanked the Minnesota like no other lmfao bcuz they wasn’t beating Den, same goes for Mavs. So now C’s is hoping that Mavs beat Minny bcuz I think they’d kill the Mavs. I also think they can beat Minny too in the Finals but it won’t be easy as the Mavs matchup. Pacers is not in the mix lmfao, no threat at all to make it to the Finals let alone winning the 🏆

      @deadlyninjafish 4 месяца назад +7

      The difference is one of those guys turned the worst team in the league into a Dynasty with his greatness. The other had to leave to learn how to win, but then came back to that not good team and put them over the top. Tatum has been on a top 3 team in the East every single year since he was a rookie and has nothing to show for it. They have massively underperformed expectations almost every year. That's why he gets so much flak, because the odds have been stacked in his favour and he still hasn't made the most of it yet. With his situation, he could, and probably should, be a 2 time champion already at his age.

    • @Agyaremay1
      @Agyaremay1 4 месяца назад +10

      @@deadlyninjafish They only underachieved last year with a rookie head coach and that was going to game 7 of the ECF finals. Only other year you can point too is the 2022 season and even then literally NO ONE picked them to win it that year and they were .500 midway through the season. He was super inefficient and turnover prone in the finals but still averaged 22,7,7 for the series at 24.

    • @SKPKentucky2016
      @SKPKentucky2016 4 месяца назад +7

      @@deadlyninjafish he was going up against prime Lebron, a top 5 player of all time at age 19-22. He was actually over performing when he entered the league then made the finals at age 24. Last two years they underperformed but overall he’s had more success than several all time greats at his age. MJ, KD, Shaq were 28 when they first won. Bron and Curry 27. KG,Dirk, and Hakeem didn’t win till the 30s. Tatum had so much success at a young age people are now using it against him. He’s 26 while others didn’t win a championship until older.

Is there a possible scenario where Knicks package Randle+Robinson for a guy like this? They have options to play OG or Precious at the 4. Also could (and IMO, should) trade up to draft an NBA ready big to play some minutes up front (Yves Missi, anyone?). Resign Hartenstein as the backup center or use him as the starter with a Sabonis/Sengun/Jackson as the starting 4. and then the extra 10-15 min needed can be filled by a Sims/Achiuwa/new draft pick Etc...

    This girl next to Molly is incredible asked if Anthony Edwards is the next face of the NBA and Austin Rivers gave a great answer. Then this woman says LeBron and that he's the face, but Ant's the next face. I'm so sick of former athletes who know nothing let alone listening to the question. If the Wolves drafted Bronny James (huge mistake) next, year LBJ would do anything to play with Wolves. Most of us are tired of him a championship chaser who'll never be Kobe or MJ. I think I speak for all Minnesota fans, stop talking about LeBron as if he is the only player in the league and keep him away from our squad, NO THANKS!

    I think I just gained some serious respect for Austin Rivers as an NBA Analyst from this video. I had my doubts the first time I seen him just like any other actual player but man FINALLY someone said what had been needed to be said. Once a team starts getting good all you hear from ESPN is analysts saying “oh they need to go get a star, what super star can they go get?” WHY?!?! The knicks have great talent and were banged up and injured. They stay healthy they are going to be a force next year. They are all starting to gel and click right now. Why risk messing that up? They just had some misfortunes that’s all. I hope AR retires now and does this full time! He is someone who speaks logically and real life and not like these other guys like they are playing franchise mode in NBA 2K

    The other thing with the knicks is that they finally have a humble star. They cycled through all the prima donna's and that just isn't the vibe the Knick fans want. They want a grit and grind sort of guy, the dude that didn't go their for the marketing opportunities, he went their to play in the garden. Brunson is that, they need to be very picky about who else they bring in.

    If Jason Tatum doesn't continue to improve his skills, he's a Top 10 guy in the League. In my opinion, he has every important skill required for consistent success at the highest levels. If he finds the killer-instinct or Mamba-Mentality or whatever you wanna call it, he's a Top 3 guy in the League. I don't cheer for the C's but would love to see JT step up to that level and never look back.

    I have my own stresses and complaints with his play at times, but the slander has got to stop. I realize that commentators dont actually watch basketball, so players who do anything other than score are difficult for them to appreciate, and they get REAL mad when someone they think is supposed to score 35 a night doesnt, but Tatum has been the single most important player in every one of these series, in every game. It's like, if you watch the games, OR you look at advanced stats, he's obviously been incredible - it's basically only if you just watch brief highlights of superstars and comparing scoring that you'd think 'this guy is underperforming'.
    Last series, he led the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks, and steals. Something only Lebron in the '16 playoffs has done in modern basketball history. I hope one of these dopes turns on a tv sometime this series.
