one of my favorite rally locations is simply croatia. the fact that its so narrow and so technical is what makes it so fun for me to flat out drive through. mexico is under croatia since it also has that sort of intense pacing to each stage. I think I hold a record in the top 30s right now. not to brag god no. if you guys want to check out my record its mexico el chocolate, akina. just trying to lend a helping hand to those who want to maximize the hell out of their car.
Thanks for the video. I’ve done some RL rallycross and stages and best tips can give for non snow stages (I’ve never done any) is to try to turn it into an F1 circuit - weird as that sounds, whenever possible get out wide and hit the apex of the turn and then get yourself setup for the next turn. You also want to be sliding as little as possible, when stages get tight youll be faster if let off throttle/tap brake at turn entry to get front end to bite and then keep as far inside as possible while track around longer turns, applying throttle as needed. Even though WRCG isn’t a sim it’s got the basics mostly right and you can teach yourself how attack a stage, though it gets silly when see top online racers just brute force through stages they know every inch of at speeds no real driver would try
Could you also do a tuning video? Besides sensitivity settings, I have no idea how to properly tune the cars, how much brake bias, how to know how tight the suspension should be etc...my biggest enemy in these games as a casual car fan
It’s more just the lack of tuning explanations from the devs. Like are they the same as in previous games? I’d assume so, however the rebound dampening seems to make little difference no matter how high you have it. The stock vehicle tunes actually aren’t too bad. My biggest enemy is the damn steering that they could’ve fixed in WRC 8 or 9 even if the sensitivity would make the wheels turn left or right faster or slower, not the same speed no matter the sensitivity, but then snap back centre almost instantly. Hence why it’s so hard to steer cars in these games. I think 9 I had the best steering control.
@@ToxicAvengerCleanYourMind yea no sh-t there, bud. I don’t even play need for speed games they’re garbage. But you’re not understanding what I’m saying. Nice run. Love watching these. Critiques help but I’m not even this close. Assuming using entire rig setup, shifters, etc-brake, etc..? And no assists? What do recommend for beginners? Just got the second to latest Logitech wheel.
This is awesome. I don't know anything about racing and just play sims because I find them fun & challenging, so I was totally unaware of techniques like short shifting. I was actually doing the exact opposite for some reason (particularly dumb of me considering I actually drive a stick shift in real life.)
is there a trick to getting the rally1 cars batteryto recharge other than braking ? sometimes ive noticed my battery fills up immediately even when im not braking
I’ve noticed this too.. I’m playing around trying to figure out why it does that. Seems like the first run of a track it’ll do this for a bit at the start, or any brake application fills it instant. I’m wondering if you have to brake on the red flash or something, but I don’t think so cause that’s just showing you’re using the battery power, cause later in the stage when I have the boost working and say it’s like a quarter used, I hit the brake and it drops it down to a quarter full and I just lost 3/4 of a the batter boost, and what’s left isn’t being used I actually have to build it back up from there. Maybe it’s a bug or there is a technique to it.
@@Musclememory34 I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a bug. I have another theory tho. After playing around more, I’m wondering if, when that bar is full, you’re not supposed to let it run out completely even if you have to tap your brakes to refill it. So off that first charge you can do this say 5 times(I don’t actually know the exact number of times) then you HAVE to let it run out till it resets at full and it takes a little chunk outta the white battery bar above the lightning bolt logo, then you get another say 5 times of refilling it this way. Cause if you try and refill it one too many times off that very first charge, then you lose the 2nd power cycle and all those tries at instant refill by tapping your brakes for the rest of the stage. The reason I think this is cause there’s times I can get my bar to instantly fill again and I’m like way further in the stage than other times. Give it a try using the map 3 I think it is. The one that lasts the longest but isn’t as strong of a boost. Refill it like 5 times before letting it run completely out, then when you do let it run out it will basically loop back to full but now you’ve lost some battery, then give it another 5 or so refills on that cycle and so on.
This Estonia stage is my favourite time trail in WRC G, really nice to find this!

I'm really enjoying this game! Best rally game since Dirt Rally 2.0! Also the best WRC game in years! 😊👍

I'll take a look into making a tuning Guide soon mate👍

I hold the current record for this stage with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. I'll have to take your time on with a WRC2 car.

Do you use a controller or wheel?
Both for this game
Wheel is preferably faster but you can also be fast on controller
@@naffantait are you on gt7 swear I heard you on some videos

I’m on 0 wheels way too much😂
