What a great version of this classic. How can you not love the energy he puts into it. No, its not Fats, its not Lennons version either. Its Pauls cover and he absolutely kills it just like he did with Little Richard covers. The man is a genius
Agreed, Paul's tipped bluesy and John's is more like balls-out rock vocals. Cheap Trick's version (1979 era) actually is almost a copy of Lennon's (speed, vocals) without the horns and piano. I'd love to hear a stripped version of that.
hola!!!
Fats would have dug this one fa sure. Just as Vincent Rose might have flipped out for Fats' Blueberry Hill 19 years after wrote he wrote it. When good music pings between artists, magical expressions materialize. Isn't it cool that color barriers fell in music long before sports world figured it out.
Paul Mccartney doing what he loves, playing the music that inspired him.
Both John and Paul's versions are exceptional. You can tell why together they were a world wide phenomena.

Woah just seeing this for the first time. This is an incredible cover!
Yup The Beatles idolized Domino, & could pull off a beautiful cover.
Le hace falta más volumen amigos a esta rola fabulosa 😊
The best version of this song for me
Only the great rockers can be sing this song in this way!
most important figure in the history of recorded sound..
A great tribute to Fats Domino - and the piano is good!

More volumen!!!!please
This song is like the opposite of yesterday. Instead of placing the blame on himself hes placing it on them
To me the greatest version of this song. From the film "Put It There" which in my collection still exists as an originally released VHS cassette.
Me too but I have no more VHS reader. :))
Se oye un poca bajo el volumen de esta canción estaría bien lo remasterizaran
Wow no sabía que Paul interpretó este temazo
Wow
wow. there is a reason he is Paul McCartney
Paul doing his little falcon call at the end.
I prefer John's. It's much more fun and upbeat. I like this one's bluesy feel, though.
It simply sounds more like the original here

Parabéns!!!
Love McCartney. His backup band is aces too, but Fats is still the best on this song.
no le llega a los talones a la version de John Lennon es 100 veces mejor su cover que la de Paul.
those raaww vocals
Twenty flight rock
Best version of this song... but the sound is
muffled, not ok...

Great stuff!!!!
We got David fuckin Gilmour on bass here.
This is an outstanding version better than the original. It has more energy and soul.
Daniel Achille Nah Fats version is better but Paul’s version is better than John Lennon’s version.
Daniel Achille I wouldn’t say it’s better than the original but it’s pretty good
I love Fats, but he ain't no Macca. Even with his own song Macca tops him.
And yes, it's better than Lennon's version. Paul sings Little Richard better than Richard! No one like McCartney
@@cameronwilliams7935 This sounds like pop music to you?
It’s my opinion, but Fats Domino was better
Obviously as it was the original
It means YOU LIKE it better. Doesn't mean it is better. LOL
Fabulous song😮!!!!!
I love him so much!!
Love this version more than the original from Fats Domino ..
Come back fats all is forgiven, what a racket🙈
I had this on laser disc back in the day. Plugged into a high end stereo, it sounded phenomenal!
Not bad Macca. But Johnny Moondog rocked it better, sorry.
John ROCKED the hell out of this song
@Joy Stinson i guess you dont like rock n roll. Because honestly it is just a drunk and draggy mess 😬
