If Brant and Brent Hecking went tiny, this is what I'd imagine their house to look like! This is really nice
I feel like an outdoorsie loner sim that lives in a "realistic" barn with their cow or Llama. Like they sleep on a matress in a stall. Would be a really cool build with lots of landscaping
I definitely plan on making a bunny having home, once cottage living comes out! I love bunnies, but living with a cat and a dog, already, we just don't have room or time for bunnies.. But the idea of a little cottage and bunnies roaming all over the lot sounds like a dream!

I really wish they had included a mechanic where you could at least minimally direct cats/dogs in the sims - like you said “go here” or “eat” or “nap” - mostly as a way to work around glitches like queue stacking causing need failure. Even if it required inputting a cheat, just as a way to fix issues it would have been helpful to minimally direct them. Skill gain and behavior learning could still require a sim. This build is so cute!
I really like dogs and cats in this game. I like that my sims have to react to the pets rather than me controlling the pets because I'm never gonna Tell them to mess up the couch or pee inside
Our dog is a HUGE German Shepard & Lab mix. She is more than welcome to snuggle on the sofa with us, but she is a massive bed hog when she sleeps. She usually sleeps on the sofa or on the twin bed in the spare room. She never sleeps on her dog bed. This build is adorable, but not for my real life doggo.
Very cute! I love all of the pet stuff in TS4, and go a little crazy with the different toys and beds. We currently have 8 whippets (plus one visiting while our oldest daughter & family are on vacation), ranging in age from 14.75 years down to 5.5 months. We compete in dog shows, racing, and lure-coursing; we have a bunch of champions, but they are all champion cuddlers and companions above all. Love, love, LOVE my sweet, silly whippets!
an aquarium lover house would be cool if we had more fish stuff in game 😭

I love this build. This totally suits me. I have 2 dogs, a cat, 2 guinea pigs, and a few fishies! And certainly more to come. Lol also I love how you did the built in wardrobe. I think that would be a really cute idea to reuse in a trailer or rv like build.
This build is adorable! Btw I have a question, how do you stay inspired to build? Usually when I build I have a hard time staying inspired and the build ends up not finished.
I walk away from things when I'm not feeling inspired. I never force myself to finish a build.

Idea- This is the second time I’m posting this, but when cottage loving comes out can you do an 8 person house, also last time some one replied that there should be room for all life stages, a nursery(baby) a toddler room,a kids room, a teen room,the young adult which still lives with them the adult parents and grandma.
I still don't own this pack, Cats and Dogs, 😪 but I guess, after watching this pretty pet friendly house, it will be my next one! Love it! 😍

I want all of the mice and all of the bunnies! Not all of the cats because my grandparents used to hoard cats among other things and I know what that looks like
I bring my dogs to dog sit occasionally, which means I have four to five dogs every so often. It’s a lot.. some days two dogs is a lot.
I wish we could at least see the needs of the dogs/cats. I know we can’t in real life but I don’t randomly grill a meal for two hours when my dogs need to go out.

Such a cute build! Only my Sims could use this, as I’m watching this while laying on my king size bed with my two Dobermans. In my younger years (longer ago than I will mention) I lived on 2 acres with one horse and my pack of 5 dogs. Now I’m a city dweller with just the two. 😁

Regarding pets, I don’t mind not being able to control them, but I do wish I could see their needs so I didn’t have to guess if they needed food or potty or whatever!

I don't have a specific laptop I always use but I do always mainly use the computer from city living.
What about lamas or cows ? Like there could be an open section of the house where they could “walk in and out”

Ok, so, hear me out: What about a (tiny?) house of a gardener who loves animals more than everything. But sadly, he's highly allergic to all kinds of animals and therefore can't have any pets. Perfect time to make use of those animal-plant sculptures :D

how about a cat lovers tiny house that looks like a cat tower/jungle?
I'm just trying to think of a way to have a rescue center. Would that possibly work out as a generic lot? I love this build, and will dl it, but just wondering if this is an option. Wouldn't it be wonderful to give puppies, teen, adult and elder dogs to a loving family. They would most definitely have to make a few visits before they can be adopted. Or would this be a mod to use? I don't want to add CC or Mods to my game. Every update my game breaks so to me its not worth it.❤

How do you free place in the air before you place side tables/counters etc? I'm missing something 🤦♀️
If you are referring to when she placed the dog food bags on the shelf, I think she is using the 0 and 9 key to raise items up and down in preset increments. I’m not sure if this requires using sims 3 camera mode like free alt rotation does but it might, it definitely requires move objects on.
Could someone help me with tips on how to build better? I always try building with my two packs and give up because I can’t get it to look good, help?

(i am so behind on videos so pretend this comment isn't two months late) i actually really like the pets in sims 4. it feels like the pets are my sims' pets rather than my pets. the sims take care of them not me. I do wish tho since they aren't really a sim that I take care of that they didn't take up a household slot. if I can't click on them and see their needs why do I need them in my household panel *cough babies cough*

Early
