DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR THE PASSPORT RENEWAL PROCESS
1. 2 Passport Photographs
2. Signed Application Confirmation Form
3. Payment Receipt
4. Acknowledgment Slip
5. Appointment Slip
6. $30 Payment at the Embassy
7. Old Passport
8. Photocopy of the Old Passport
9. Self Addressed Envelope (Priority Mail Express Envelope from UPS, USPS, or FEDEX)
You need your old passport booklet not passport photographs. They will capture your passport photograph there.

What happens if there are mistakes made on the online application? Can you correct it at the appointment?
You can’t correct anything during interview. You will have to fill another DS160 form to correct the mistakes or check the website if there are other options.

Hello Jane, I am resident in Arizona, and Texas is closer to me or for worse case scenario Nigerian consular in Atlanta. My question now is: How do my online registration to book in advance to get the passport done in the month of June 2023. That is the time that is feasible for me.
All you have to do is apply and chose a June date if there are available dates in June.

No, they didn't. But I heard they now require that you have NIN.

Hello how did you do the self addressed envelope when I went to usps they told they don’t do that. So I’ve been searching for videos on how to get an envelope.
That’s surprising. I did it at USPS. Its just a prepaid envelope so that the embassy does not have to pay again to send the passport to you

Hay Unik i dont mean no harm but im currently talking to a woman thats is from nigeria and is currently in nigeria and shes claimng that shes needs to renew her pasport and visa and she needs to pay about 3,000 dollars to renew her pasport and visa so she can travel and show up to newyork to come see me i wanna know is that true b/c you seem to know exactly what your talking about. I wanna know if shes lying 🤨 ?
For you to be asking this question, it means you already have doubts. And no, you don’t need $3000 to renew passport and visa. You actually don’t even need up to $500 for that.

10 years was not available when I did mine. Yes, I think you can apply now

So I started my application yesterday and when I tried to pay for the application on Innovate1 services, my bank flagged it as fraudulent and declined the payment. I confirmed I made the transaction and paid again but they still haven’t deducted money from my back account and it shows that I haven’t paid. Did anyone face this issue? How do I get it paid?

I have booked for my appointment date but is 26th September 2023 while my start date is 18th January 2023, I will book for emergency appointment on the 19th of November 2022, now the issues remains on my home tie, I have a fiancée who has twins for me last year but am not yet officially married to her, please can I use them as part of my tie and how can I prove it? You can mention her but your connection to your home country should mostly be on how you plan to apply what you studied to your home country. That is try to tie your degree to your home country.

I am already working with a company since 2019, and is owned by my uncle who is also my sponsor ,now he want me to obtain a masters degree to be equipped with the necessary skill to oversee the management of the company after my graduation, now which documents do I need to prove this aside my employment letter? It was not a requirement when I did mine but I have heard from others that it is now required.

2 months and a week or so. It wasn’t up to 3 months.
