    For those hate coconut oil or are allergic to coconut oil try these: jojoba oil, cocoa butter, avocado oil, or shea butter

    Maybe it's just because I'm broke but seeing matcha literally go down the drain physically pains me. Matcha is SO expensive!
    And I'm not too sure about a citrus-matcha blend. If you just want it for the green color, either use lime rind or soap dye.

    • @alinasharma6218
      @alinasharma6218 6 лет назад +16

      I don’t think it’s about the color, I think it’s abt the matcha itself - it probably benefits the skin/ body in some way and that’s why they’re using it

    • @aimisofia4766
      @aimisofia4766 6 лет назад +2

      It's expensive where i'm at too :(

    • @LightoLuka
      @LightoLuka 6 лет назад +8

      alina sharma it's definitely not JUST for the color, but it's way easier and cheaper to get the same benefits of green tea from just bag tea in the bath.
      Using matcha gives emphasis to the aesthetic of the bath salts as well as making it easier being in all one place, but still a bit too wasteful of matcha for me ^^;

    Can you put essential oils on the skin?

    • @LightoLuka
      @LightoLuka 6 лет назад +4

      Plot Twists yes essential oils can go directly on your skin so they're perfect for soaps and bath products

    • @annalisap811
      @annalisap811 6 лет назад +8

      Plot Twists
      Not without diluting them with something like coconut oil. Otherwise you could get a rash or worse.

    • @annalisap811
      @annalisap811 6 лет назад +5

      YurioDaFurio WOOP
      Yes, but they are diluted with something else like a lotion before putting it on your skin.

    • @IdahoTricia
      @IdahoTricia 6 лет назад +5

      Plot Twists It also depends on the person. I use lavender and tea tree directly on my skin with no adverse effects. If you have sensitive skin or are using a strong oil, you should use a carrier oil like almond, coconut, or jojoba.

    • @Vampiric_Goblin
      @Vampiric_Goblin 6 лет назад +2

      Plot Twists depends on the oil mint oils are a NEVER lavender or tree oils always unless there's an allergy sea search the oil before diving in head first and remember essential oils are VERY concetraited and it is so easy to use too much and get sick from doing so ESPECIALLY with children

    I wish I could do stuff like this but my skin is really sensitive and I would probably break out in Eczema from all the essential oils. 😪😭

    • @sharnimcheyzer585
      @sharnimcheyzer585 4 года назад

      I have eczema too so I like to add oil to the bath with these sorts of soaks. I'll make a magnesium and essential oil soak, add that to the bath and then add some water dispersible oil (in Australia we have alpha keri oil that's really good.).
      That way I get the benefits of the soak and the soothing moisturizing oil for my skin 😁

    • @ToodleNoodle
      @ToodleNoodle 5 лет назад +1

      Noooo dude. Do not use sugar, that's just asking for problems downstairs.
      Only salts. Pink or rock or sea but not table.
      Epsom salt is not really salt, it is magnesium sulphate.

    Uhh, unless I missed something, the matcha citrus one is NOT going to help with rosacea. Citrus is very inflammatory for sensitive rosacea skin, as are essential oils in general. It’s fine to make it and use it, but again, unless I missed something, please don’t say it helps rosacea when it’s actually harmful.
