I have two misplaced ligaments in my lower spine. These stretches really did work, I feel less strain and pain in my lower back! I'm going to do these each morning!

I knew working construction for many years had messed my back up and I guess I just kind of got used to it. I'm finally starting the physio she recommended by doing your recommended stretches each morning. Thanks!

Greetings I’ve always had back pain early in the morning I know a lot of the tube because I’m home overweight we can currently taking control with my diet to help me lose the weight but because I had a back accident many years ago back in the mid 80s lower back pain it was always been with me I have been a bit lazy over the years now I’m retired and I just did a few exercises in the morning this day which is Sunday to help me and I decided to find something else and this exercise that RUclips I just looked at I think. Yours Jeff Melbourne Rosebud Australia once again many thanks for your simple RUclips to start I’m gonna put my iPad on the bed in each morning so I can get into a habit of doing these things thank you once again yours Jeff

I have L5 S1 compression issues i can perform all of these except i cannot put the left leg up from the ventral kneeling position as it hurts as i start extending upwards my foot and tibia. But everything else is awesome i love lying down exercises because its easier for vertical compression issues.
Michelle I love you!!! I’ve felt the slower I go and the longer I allow myself to stretch on either side the better my lower back feels. These are great stretches!! Aaaaaaaand then there’s your Australian accent....grrrrr... ;) that helps personally too. ;). Definitely need to include those knees to chest pressing against the stretch (pushing your buttocks) against the knees to really stretch your lower back. Thank you so much!!!!
i have severe lower back pain from a disc injury when i was 17. i also used to be very obese (weighing 340 pounds) thru diet and exercise alone i have gotten down to 170 pounds at 32 years old but my lower back hurts worse than ever especially when i wake up. i have started doing these stretches and it has helped me get out of bed in the morning. what would you recommend is the next step to starting to try to build strength in my lower back? keep in mind even these stretches can be excruciatingly painful on some days. thank you if you see this!

Great stretches, these are the exact ones that they taught me in physical therapy. I keep re-straining my muscle in my lower back. Looking for other techniques to stop the pain and strengthen the muscle. Thanks for your video.
@Amy Mills try to relax your head and neck and use a small pillow of a folded towel for head and neck support to reduce the risk of neck strain too, all the best to you🙏
Hi Round bridges strengthen the buttocks and lower back plus they extend the lower back and the front of the hips which is useful in some cases of lower back pain
Hi, do I do this morning and before bed? I'm really struggling coping with lower back pain atm and trying everything I can currently. (I haven't tried this as of yet)

The best treatment exercises depend largely on the cause of your back pain and the effect it has on your muscles, joints and ligaments.
