Georgia LB Quay Walker
Senior 6’4 241 lbs
Georgia’s National Championship defense will go down in history as one of the most dominant defenses of all time. Jordan Davis, Travon Walker, Nakobe Dean & Devonte Wyatt are all expected to be drafted in the 1st round. LB Quay Walker could join them as well. In most years, Cine would be almost a lock. Because Georgia has so many top ranked players, it’s difficult for scouts to really evaluable a player individually, especially a linebacker when Georgia’s defensive front was so dominant.

Finally! Walker can rush the passer, play off ball and even drop in coverage on short routes. Like his 2 amigos Dean and Tindall, he’s lethal in pursuit. 1st round talent who will fall in the 2nd because of the position’s lack of value nowadays and the depth of this LB class. Thanks man, Walker deserves it :)

Just absurd how many players from that Georgia defense will go in rounds 1 and 2. Lewis Cine, Quay Walker, Nakobe Dean, Devonte Wyatt, Jordan Davis, and Travon Walker are all absolute studs.
Derion Kendrick could sneak in there too and Kelee Ringo could play his way in to the first round next year as well
I’m glad we picked him was honestly hoping he would still be around been following Walker for some time now definitely got stronger and faster every season

Great sign. People gotta understand these mock drafts and people who tell us who the top players are wrong a lot and bas everything on stats and a lot of lbs impact doesn't show on paper. And for then to draft him over his stud teammate dean who won the butkiss award and ranked higher than quay our packet scouts had to have done a lot of research and for us to take him as the first lb in the draft there has to be some scouting insight that out while organization agreed with and since there are a couple lbs even a teammate of his who everyone thought was better and won the ray nitchske trophy or dick butkis so basically proved himself as the best or top two. So that shows our organization has some insight knowledge on this guy to be a stud for us to take him over all these other lbs who were ranked about him. There's like 3 maybe 4 lbs rated higher but I think his 6'4 frame, his 220-240 weight, and 4.52 40 yard Dash which was tied for 2nd for all lbs is a huge player who will be a matchup nightmare for defensive with him and De'vondre back there. Also, like I said having a 6'4 lb, who runs a 4.52, and is strong as hell will be a phenomenal paring with De'vondre Campbell. Especially with how moving that fast which hid agility is a great pairing cuz now we have two lbs
who can make athletic, smart plays in the run game, really do well in coverage especially De'vondre he will be our main lb to go in coverage and then our new guy will be the matchup nightmare who will be a run stopping machine at 6'4, 4.52 40yd dash, and good agility drills, so he will be the run stopper but also had good not great coverage but with his size and speed combo he will be an all around lb who can drop back and defense on pass plays and stuff the run and get to the QB. While De'vondre gets a lot of pressure off him to be the only lb to make all the plays but now he has a youngin with tools De'vondre wish he had athletically so De'vondre is gonna help him develop so much.

Quay Walker might have the higher upside of the Georgia Line backers, Tindall is the most Athletic and dean was the QB for that defense. Not to take nothing from the great georgia LBs. but it also helps when you have the best D-line in the Nation with Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt, Travon Walker, and Jalen Carter.

I don't understand why the Packers picked him at 22 with much bigger needs at S, Edge, DL, and obviously WR, but I sure hope I'm wrong...
Edit: after thinking about it I really do like it. Joe Barry use to be a LB coach and Gute said we didn't really have the personnel to run a lot of 2 LB looks last year. We're gonna see a lot of 4-2-5 nickel defense this year for sure

Amos and Savage at Safety
Campbell and Walker at LB
Preston and Gary at Edge
Clark, and one of our other DL(WYATT HYPE) at DL
Guess a 3rd Safety is a lot less of a need if you stop playing so much dime (6 DBs on the field)

@@terrystyles3486 for a guy who wasn't the leader of the defense his number are still close if not better than lloyds I think I'd still take quay over lloyd. Quay has more of an upside and can do more for your defense, from pass rush, covering, run stop, etc. Devin lloyd is one dimensional
