The hardest part of coaching is keeping kids (yes 19 - 22 year old boys) engaged and on task all at the same time. Smart is one of the best. Look how they are all looking at him.
At 18, they are Men.
The way he goes around the room calling several players by name, ensuring everyone is looking right at him in case he calls their name next. Masterful.
Coach has become a halftime legend- in speeches and butt whipping adjustments.
The way he always calls their first names and checks to see if they are making eye contact and paying attention to what he's preaching is honorable.

Yeah. And why has the NCAA and the alumni of this school not called for a full investigation of the football program after last year’s tragedy? Oh, could it be that Georgia and Smart are so good at winning football games and making lots of money for the school? The entire “Bulldog Nation” should be ashamed and embarrassed by this. But nope. Watch how players are focused on what he says and how he says it that is what discipline and focus look like and that is why Georgia comes out from the locker room, after halftime and if you're not careful, they will beat you into the ground one play at a time, even when the games are close they still come out on top. It's all about focus and intensity, and a team coming together as one. If you really listen to what he's saying........... Roll Tide, I wish so bad kirby never left. I don’t want Georgia to win Championships obviously, But I will say they’ve done a fantastic job, well Kirby has. Some reason though they NEVER get the respect and the recognition they’ve done earned for the last two years especially, but since he arrived. I guess everyone just thinks Kirby’s success is thanks to Saban, it’s not though, he’s Kirby learned a shit load from Saban but he’s doing his thing.
