- A delivery man turns heads on the roads of South Phoenix as he tries to get his customers the mattresses they ordered. Casey Day says he made his deliveries with a pickup truck, until one of his employees totaled it. So, he reluctantly turned his 2010 Dodge Challenger into a delivery vehicle by stacking as many as six mattresses on the roof at a time. The extra weight has taken its toll on his beloved car. It's a Dodge Challenger. It's a performance coupe manufactured by Fiat/Chrysler.
If your car is really that old, it's probably made out of metal and not fiberglass like modern cars. Therefore, your roof would be fine.

The challenger can tow at best 1,000 pounds and all those mattresses would weigh like 300 to 400 pounds plus his weight of 180-200. So if he were to tow he would be at the brink of blowing his engine up from too much stress. Thank you and have a good day
