yeah. i think they actually released this video on purpose, it's not a coincidence that it just happened to be found. They wanted it found so people can keep going back and forth. There's an episode in the goldbergs where the kid says, "Dave kim i am your father" (imitating the original line from Star Wars) and Dave kim replies, 'dude no one's ever done that before' and then it pans immediately to the gym teacher that says, "and no one will ever do it again" i was super creeped out when i saw that. S05E03 in case you're curious. It's when they're in the gym, and the goldberg kid is actually holding a black netted lacrosse stick to his face, while EVERYONE else has a white netted lacrosse sticks. Yup. They are definitely messing with some shit and hoping that we'll all just claim 'misrembering' so noone looks into anything. notice also how they had so many known mandela effects basically screaming in our faces? I don't think that was a coincidence either. In the matrix, Neo discovered that he'd been through that song and dance dozens of times when he was speaking with the architect (it even showed different versions of him playing on screens in the background). Each time Zion was destroyed, they restarted it. i think something similar is happening here, and every time we 'reset' something changes just a little bit.
I still remember when Arnold couldn't properly pronounce "Back" and it sounded as "Bach" which due to his thick accent was why it went "Viral" back in the day. Aliens for Breakfast = Shazaam.
I remember thinking how crazy it was that Kazam came out with Shaq so soon after Shazam with Sinbad... I vividly remember thinking some idiot made the same movie again but with Shaq now
I had exactly the same thought. I remember saying to my Mom OMG they remade that stupid genie movie and called it pretty much the same thing but this one has Shaq. Why would anyone see the first one much less the second one.
@fastestmanon3legs454 yeah, now I know it's a collective implanted memory based on kazam and Sinbad doing a spot in a show as a genie as a meme. JTT was never in a movie with any mythical beings that I can remember. Tom and Huck, I'll be Home for Christmas, but he didn't do any fantasy I can remember.
Plus the monopoly with the non monocle the kitkat slash and the froot loop tape glitch on the screen, the picture behind them of king George with a turkey leg even though he didnt have it apparently in this time line. Or that they say no one can take away our memories.
How people get gaslit into believing this never existed is beyond me. Those of us that remember arnt wrong in the slightest. Shazam was literally the only thing i knew sinbad from growing up.
This was real it wasn't Luke this remake and isn't it weird sinbad made movies every year from 91 to 97 usually 2 or more but nothing in 94 at all it came out right around the time his TV show ended
Yup getting gaslight by people who put out BS content desperate to be believed it isn’t the BS it is and gaslight by those who are desperate to believe in the Mandela Effect. I remember seeing it but I was a kid anymore when it came out. All I remember is I thought it was a lame movie you’d see playing on the Disney channel. I didn’t watch the whole movie and I think my best friend’s little brothers were watching it. So I don’t remember exactly when I see it just know it was a movie that definitely was released to the public. And the posts I see in social media that claim that Sinbad denies having ever been in such a movie is either gaslighting people or that is a completely made up quote that he never said. People will do almost anything to make a belief seem real that they really want to believe is true.

@@JensenEntertainment -- obviously this has an older Sinbad in it, but I too remember watching the actual movie, and by the time Shaq's movie came out I was 16 years old and more interested in girls and metal shows. In fact, I remember Shaq's movie coming out and thinking it stupid that they're just copying another movie and almost by the same name. @@JensenEntertainment, from my understanding "didactic" in this sense refers to the mind's ability to write something to memory. @@SuperMrHiggins It gave them chills because we take the validity of our memories for granted all the time, but really, your whole life could be a lie, and you wouldn’t know.
I remember this movie word for word. I remember all the character names as well. if it don't exist I might as well rewrite the script and sell it to hollywood. if it don't exist there are no copyrights!
That's the best made on this. See what happens if someone writes this movie as they recall it and then try to make money in Hollywood with it. Oh boy I bet Sinbad himself will recall this movie then. Again, best point ever ever ever made about this movie. P/s I hear Barbara Eden from the tv show I Dream of Jennie even had a few scenes in this movie.
Actually the name "Shazam" is trademarked to DC Comics/ Warner Bros. That's a reason why it doesn't exist. And if you remember it word for word, then please, by all means, give a detailed description of the plot. There are a few out there and they're ALL DIFFERENT! I'd like to see how yours stacks up against the rest. In some the mom's alive, some the dad's alive, some they're both dead, then sometimes Sinbad is like a father, some like a big brother, sometimes he gets the kids a home, sometimes he gets the father a wife, sometimes people actually relate the entire Kazaam movie but still insist it's not kazam. It's so ridiculous. The last one that was my favourite was that this spawned a TV series on the Disney channel. You people kill me.
Brandon Jensen I'm really confused on what your saying, "shazam" in the dc comic book originally wasn't called "shazam" he was called Captian Marvel. They had to change it to shazam for copyright reasons from Marvel. Plus it was dumb for them to call him Captian Marvel in the first place. Now "Shazaam" was a movie I remember and KAAZAM IS A movie with Shaq
Jah-zi Gibson you don't remember Shazam as a genie movie. It never existed. I am fully aware of the copyright and trademark issues with Shazam. That's exactly why this movie could never have been made. Warner Bros. owns the trademark.

It does exist. If you Google Shazam 1994, it still pulls up three actors...Sinbad, Tina Majorino and Devon Sawa. Someone said Sinbad had it removed because he did the movie to buy crack and he was ashamed.

Childhood memories. Man, those were the days. Watching this movie on VHS, reading my Berenstein Bears books, tuning-in to "Candle Cove" every afternoon, and playing Polybius at the local arcade.
We might think that was our childhood memory while in reality we plant it a week ago while listening to someone telling a bullshit story about something. That story make use remember similar story from our past. While we only remember just a tiny fraction of the memory, that guy story convincing us about what really happened back then. And that's how we plant a new memory but we think and convinced that's our old memory. And the bullshit story spread everywhere. This was a technique that was used by magician, brain washer, etc. Read it up, Jews did it all the time.
This is a bit scary. I just tried to look for the movie Shazam with Sinbad on google and it never existed according to the internet. I thought I used to love this movie as a young boy. The other odd thing is that I thought I remembered watching the Shaquille O’Neal version but always remembered it as the knock off that was horrible. I want to say I remembered Sinbad as a genie in a movie. The kids found the lamp, made stupid wishes at first, tried hiding the genie from their parents, there was a guy that wanted the lamp to take over the world, he sent his 2 goons after the kids to retrieve the lamp, in the end the kids final wish was that Sinbad was an actual human instead of a genie. That's what I remember. I do know for a fact though that Froot Loops used to be spelled Fruit Loops because my grand mother has an old box of them from the 80's that she kept Christmas cards in and I've seen it with my own 2 eyes.
The name was actually changed in the 60s due to the fact that "fruit" implied it was healthy.. I've looked this up before cause I swear I'd seen it also..think it was around 65
I remember in the end of the movie when the protagonist kid saw this other kid in the neighborhood being bullied and he wished that somebody brave enough could stand up to the bullies. Then he looked at sinbad then looked at his little sister and his little sister was like you go defend him dummy or something like that and then some how he found the guts to defend the kid himself then he came back feeling good that he faced the bullies and looked at sinbad in shock thinking that he wasted his last wish on being brave and Sinbad was like no kid that was all you. Then the kids last wish was that they could see Sinbad again and that this wasn't goodbye. Then sinbad went back into the lamp and was watching himself doing stand-up on the television and he chuckled and said man this guy is good. I vaguely remember other scenes. And I don’t care what anybody says, I remember thinking in 1st grade (1999) dang why they had two movies that were the same it was Shaq and Sinbad.
I remember them the genie and the kid walking on the street. The genie was always wearing purple, he had a purple jacket with oversized shoulders. In front of their curve there was a fence for a basketball field. I also remember the genie making appear two Orange guns in his hands.
this movie was real. i remember it from my childhood. i also remember that in the 90's jan-michael vincent committed suicide. however, in today's news it shows he died at the age of 74.
obviously a fun joke, but the costume is how i remember it, and that costume is spot on. some say the memory sprouts from Sinbad wearing a costume to host sinbad the sailor cartoons, but that isnt what i remember. Specifically in my mind, its that hat he is wearing, even in this spoof

@MOMO IS YOUR FRIEND actually YES it did. We had dollar theaters in "the hood" that played mostly family friendly movies and on Mondays it was animated movies Tuesdays were PG13 wed was Disney and the rest of the week were a random mix of family favorites exception was Sunday matinee they were $2 till 5. So....yea....MANY towns have $1 movie theaters and theaters that show obscure or cult classics. I'm very sorry your state city town sucked and you missed out but for those of us who remember the good ol days you may want to actually talk to someone over 40 b4 you decide what we had and didn't have. It's impossible that the movies are still as you remember them because the VHS movies and everything else changes because history has been changed. I would be amazed if the Shazam movie is in there too because i would assume it would have been erased from existence. Usually the only way that things are found are residual evidence from merchandise or pictures or movies taken of merchandise. "We have our memories. They're real. No one can take that from us."
Holy shit.
thats the part i caught too
Ghazal Metrahi same here!
yeah. i think they actually released this video on purpose, it's not a coincidence that it just happened to be found.
It was an April fools joke for people who believe this nonsense

I remember seeing it but I was a kid anymore when it came out. All I remember is I thought it was a lame movie you’d see playing on the Disney channel. I didn’t watch the whole movie and I think my best friend’s little brothers were watching it. So I don’t remember exactly when I see it just know it was a movie that definitely was released to the public. And the posts I see in social media that claim that Sinbad denies having ever been in such a movie is either gaslighting people or that is a completely made up quote that he never said. @@JensenEntertainment, from my understanding "didactic" in this sense refers to the mind's ability to write something to memory. if it don't exist I might as well rewrite the script and sell it to hollywood. if it don't exist there are no copyrights!
would you mind giving me the plot of the movie like tell me as much as you can remember.

I watched forest Gump and dirty dancing ON VHS the other day(dug out his old dual vhs/DVD player) and the movies are EXACTLY the way I remember them. Still going thru them hopefully I find shazam
I guess maybe it was a luxury of living in the north.
Deridra Matthews We had the same type of dollar theatre in Little Rock, Arkansas on the edge of my hood called Tandy 10 so it’s definitely not just a Northern thing. I agree and remember the Shazaam posters and thinking to myself that the movie looked like trash so I never sought it out to watch it, but it definitely existed.
@@deridramatthews76 Well, obvi that movie didn't exist so you haven't seen it in a theater or on VHS.
Wearing tinfoil in your head can produce brain damage
It's impossible that the movies are still as you remember them because the VHS movies and everything else changes because history has been changed. I would be amazed if the Shazam movie is in there too because i would assume it would have been erased from existence. Usually the only way that things are found are residual evidence from merchandise or pictures or movies taken of merchandise. Anything that has to do with recording or taking a picture of the actual movie or subtitles or whatever changes.
If you do have a Forrest Gump copy where he says "life is like a box of chocolates", post a video of it. Im sure theres millions of people who would like to see this, because up till now, none of us have been able to have proof that the mandela effect is real by having proof of the original that wasnt changed.

In 1996/1997 I worked in a blockbuster video (man that makes me feel old) I remember when Kazaam was released on VHS around that time. I very clearly remember there being a movie called Shazaam that would mistakenly be mixed in with the Kazaam tapes. The covers of these two movies were extremely similar and obviously one was a "rip off" of the other. Why do I very clearly have this memory if this movie never existed?
I too remember thinking one was the ripoff version of the other.
Both on display at the local video store.
I clearly remember the commercial because I thought it was such a lame cash grab with a c-lister. Total low effort budget thing. However, I guess it didn't exist but now I really want Sinbad to make it. F it, why not? It already has a lot of hype

I 100% remember taking my son to watch it around 1996 when "Jingle All the Way" was popular. Sindbad was popular at the time and was everywhere. I asked a couple of folks at work who are my age (mid 50's) and they remember it too. The genie had a big loop earring. I also remember that garbage SHAQ movie Kazaam too, but I never watched it. I remember thinking it was a blatant rip off of the Sinbad movie. I remember that Sindbad was on a roll and he was super funny in this slap stick movie. One explanation that I heard that makes sense is that a time traveler went back in time and altered the future time line. "Butterfly Effect". This is not a clip from the original since you can see that Sindbad is older. He was much younger in mid 90's.
I remember as well and I remember the shaq one used to see it at blockbusters but never rented it but did this film
I also noticed how much older he is too....
It's not real. This is a parody. Collegehumor make videos to mess with people. You've never seen the movie that doesn't exist.

You’re thinking of an SNL appearance he made to introduce a clip wearing that exact Aladdin outfit in the 90’s
What’s also SO weird is that you can see a copy of a Berenstain Bears book in the corner & a newspaper citing the death of Mandela in another corner. Shazam, the Berenstain Bears, & Nelson Mandela’s death are all hallmarks of the Mandela effect.
Imagine being this clueless.
LOL
there are 5 more effects within the scene. fruit loops not FROOT . kit kat w a hyphen , monopoly man w moniker , curious george w a tail and end scene w the kids rubicks cube not RUBIX and it changes patterns from one scene to the next. probably something in the last scene w the lady and top secret yellow coat
Don’t forget the fruit loops and monopoly man monocle
Thats NOT the movie from the 90s. Sinbad has not been perpetually OLD since the 90s.
I remember somewhere between 2002 and 2003 sitting at a park on a swing in Chicago suburbs. It felt like the world stopped and shifted even bug humming stopped. I remember at 13 or 14 feeling like nothing would ever be the same again. I to this day remember the very overwhelming feeling that came over me.
