Those Jjjjounds were actually sold here through the official NB rep in one single store (how they got 'em is still unclear), and our guess is that Zelensky was just given a pair from someone on his team.
If you paid at least some attention to the news, you've probably seen some of the members of the Ukrainian Presidential Office wearing brands like Stone Island and Arcteryx (during f*cking negotiations with the russians in Istanbul ffs!!), so chances are, somebody is "in the know" on the team.
On a side note, Balenciaga is the ambassador for Ukrainian governmental initiative U24, so I'd bet the move to flash the Jjjjounds was calculated.
Also, a tidbit on the camo Saucony's Zelensky was wearing - someone tried to gift a couple of pairs to the president, but he refused to accept them as a gift and insisted on paying for them.

Make more shoes, so people that want them can get them for retail, and most of it goes away on its own. You can’t make the majority of the shoes people want in numbers that make them almost impossible to get, and then cry when other people make them available for the public, even if it’s at a higher price. They’re lucky people haven’t just abandoned their brand all together, after 400 consecutive L’s on SNKRS.

After hearing how Adidas cut ties with Kanye, I’m still shocked it ended this way. I suppose Adidas had no other option, but this is the end of Kanye working with other brands. Could he start his own company? Possibly, but he’s always been hesitant to invest his own capital. Now he has no choice.

I think the "review" bit, is "our lawyers are making sure we have an air tight case".
They need to make sure that can off load the $1B of sneakers they already have warehoused and in production, and make sure they don't end up paying him money for breach or contract.
Adidas owns the Yeezy name. Hence him changing his name to Ye. He can't move on with that name. He can't break the contract or he has to pay them. So he's attempting to have them just terminate it. Adidas can continue selling the Yeezys that they have been for years to come without Adolf Kanye saying a word about it. It's absolutely hilarious he's dug his own grave 😂🤣😭

Adidas owns the IP. IE the designs and (most of the)tech. They will most likely be able to continue selling "yeezys" but without the yeezy name. Depending on dissolution agreement.
