    I know it's an old video, but 620MB were my dream irons, and just recently picked up a mint used T100/620 combo set with my shafts on. Can't wait till the start of the season.

    Coming way back in time here. Was just fit into some 620 CB/CTaper 130x in 2024 and they've been incredible. So for at least 1 buyer these have stood the test of time.

    Excited to test the products. I liked this format for a little change BUT I definitely like you and Matt doing your thing at home base much better.

    Got the CB 620 as second set and likely get those in the bag once I dial in.

    I actually thought about buying the mb for decoration. They just look superb. Playing the 614 cb. Think i will try the mb next time.

    I love the look of the 620 CB. So they have a sole similar to what Srixon has now? I do really like the v-sole on my Z785's.

      Agree CB's look great. Doubtful that they'll perform as well as the 785's. Fantastic clubs and that V sole is great. I want to hit the CB's though and also the MMC's coming out from Mizuno as well. Not likely though that either will unseat my 785's!

      @@uwrossl I do love my 785's, although I haven't had many rounds with them yet with the Modus 105 shafts. I unfortunately went with the Project X LZ 6.0 as the dispersion was good with that shaft, but they gave me golfers elbow which I have never had before, plus I found the shaft too heavy when hitting lots of balls. Thankfully the shop I got fit at changed the shafts out to the Modus 105 for just the cost of the shafts, no charge for labour.
      The Mizunos do look really nice as well. I am a big Mizuno fan. I have a set of 900 Forged which are great irons. The 919 Tour was neck and neck with the 785 for me in my fitting. The main reason I went with the Srixon over the 919 was that the 785 and 585 blended better for looks at address than what the 919 tour and 919 forged did to my eye. I went with the 585 in 5 & 6 iron.
      I wish they had the MP18's but I had my fitting around June/July and the fitters were already told to remove them from the cart. I really didn't want to wait until the MP20's were announced and available as I live in Canada and the golf season is too short as it is, so I wouldn't have gotten to use them until next year (expect for an indoor range).

      @@lpslashgt Indoor on matts Mizuno 919 Tour and Callaway Apex Pro kept up with Srixon but outdoor on turf during my fitting it wasn't even close. Better distance and dispersion was massively better. I think a lot of that has to do with turf interaction. Prefer the look and profile of the Srixon as well over the Apex Pro and 919's. Like you the MP-18's weren't available at my fitting. MP-20 blended set is probably the only thing that's peaked my interest to try. 4-7 MMC and MB's 8-PW. I've got the Z785's in 4-AW with the KBS Tour $-Taper 120. Love the combo but am considering putting the $-Taper Lite in the 4 & 5 iron. Gain a little speed and a nicer blend in weight from hybrid to mid irons. Srixon makes killer irons and until my fitting they had flown under my radar. Stoked to have them in the bag.

    Hi! Love the channel!
    I'm wondering which one of the Titleist 620cb or T100 is more similar to Mizuno mp63?

  • @svenhallauer3229
    @svenhallauer3229 5 лет назад

    Slightly off-topic question, what's the expected carry distance based on ball speed? Meaning if my 6-iron generates 140 MpH ball speed or my driver generates 165 MpH ball speed what's the expected carry at sea level with no wind and 86 Fahrenheit (30 Celsius)?

    • @spidey.bh1144
      @spidey.bh1144 5 лет назад +2

      All depends on spin and launch. With optimized spin (around 2100 for 165) you should carry it about 295 with driver

    Over hyped.. If you've been gaming Titleist irons for the last 7 years like me... you'll find the new offerings are nothing special... certainly classic/reliable Titleist, but nothing worth holding the phones over. New badging and a new name, that don't necessarily warrant the steep price tag. Some 718AP irons can be had at a great price now however... and are probably a more intelligent purchase.
