I’ve been listening to Mark Tremonti’s music since I was 12 years old… My first cd I ever bought was “My Own Prison” and I played it on my 20 dollar cd player from Walmart that “skipped” every time the school bus hit a bump in the road.. Just listening to his music was one of the best experiences of my childhood, and still to this day as a 29 year old, he still amazes me and blows my mind with how f*cking talented he is… in my opinion, hands down the greatest guitarist to ever walk the earth at this point… I know, sounds drastic, but when you look at all of the music he has written over the past (almost) 20 years, nobody has done it better when it comes to writing guitar riffs/solos. This guy is an absolute legend, and you’re an absolute idiot if you disagree with me 😃

@@deathblade6956 I'm not sure what you're listening to then, because A Dying Machine definitely didn't sound the same at all. Honestly Tremonti's first record didn't really do it for me. It had a couple good songs, but overall it felt like kind of a letdown. Cauterize was a massive improvement, great record front to back. I felt Dust was the weaker of that "double album", but still had some great songs, still overall better than the first record. And A Dying Machine, while I hesitate to say it is a "better" album than Cauterize, I would say that in terms of overall musicianship, and Mark as a singer, they've definitely kept evolving.

Whoever wrote/ said that diatribe "... just a guitarist ..." is having that shite shoved down their throat with every bass and lead guitar chord, passionate vocal, bang of the drum/ cymbal. Quite simply, the best act on the planet. I'm hoping they tour Aus - when we open back up - with 7D. My fave two bands. 'Come a long way ...'. Nah. Tremonti and his talented friends were always where they needed to be. At the top of their game and ahead of the pack.

When I’m at the concerts the fans feel like family to me and I never feel more at home..cuz tremonti brings the best music to the table and never disappoints. Mark Tremonti has been a favorite guitar player of mine since back when i first started playing guitar myself. He's blown my mind all these years. I'm glad he's still going strong, with every release being even better than the last!
