- Redbull hardline seeding day. Full track is being shredded so hard I can't actually believe it. Insane what a downhill bike can do these days and this place takes them to the limit.

I was a dirt biker years back and always thought it was sad that we lost so many places to ride over the years. Then I see this and realise you no longer need a motor for the thrills. Awesome skills from the riders, but the bikes are on another level too.
I used to ride and race dirtbikes too, and over time, there are fewer and fewer places to ride, where on the contrary, places to ride MTBs are popping up everywhere. So last year, got into MTB and am spoilt for choice, and loving it!
I am a 65 year old lady that loves watching these types of things. The chest cam is far better as you get the perspective of the track alot better. You and Jono jones and BK are my favourites. Just all down to earth young men.

It annoys me to no end that they capture the Saturday like a race day, sit you guys in a hot seat, with Warner commentary but arent streaming it to us remote viewers - every year! I dont know about everyone else, but I cant get enough moving images of this event fed into my eyeballs, why would Redbull not do that? Yes, costs money but not nearly as much as having to pay for TV broadcast slots and I'm sure plenty would watch it.
Got to agree with that, I would love to see the qualy day live! I'm sure I'm not alone in never being able to afford to get there in person so it would be great to see!

Helmet cams are good but chesty just shows how much the bike is moving, the helmet came makes it look too smooth! Go Bren!!
Yer chest cam is unreal
I like the chin cam, I think the chest cam is too low and then the handlebars block the trail view. The chin allows you to see the bars still and the trail. Lower is better for the feeling of speed but I can't get past the obstruction of the trail.
or even under visor cam
@@BrendanFairclough I thought the 360 max did a better job capturing the size of the features, looked insane. Chest definitely gives a better idea of how hard you're working - both are rad

not one single soft-landing over the full run - you miss it - you are totally FKD WITH A CAPITAL EFFF me - minimum damage = multiple broken bones - no thanks - I will stick with road cycling

If you watch Ronans track preview run on Red Bulls' channel, you will see why. Ronan is riding smoother and with much less effort. Brendog is clearly winded half-way through, talks about how his legs are burning (2:44) and goes on to make mistakes (2:59). He's simply out of shape.

Got to agree with the other comments about the Insta360 or whatever Gopro riders are now using on the helmets looks crap. Fish eye and can't make out if riders are on the floor or in the air
Chest view does show more of what’s going on but it almost makes me feel sick watching that one. I prefer the helmet cam. Glad both are here.

Its a shame cameras cant pick up gradient let speed, i think if they ever invent a camera that can it would be the best possible outcome for DH as it otherwise it is only a good spectator sport for those that can imagine the speed and gradient.
Insane is what y'all can do on a downhill Bike these days. Good luck, can't wait to see the full run video.

Red bull not going to be happy with the use of the GoPro instead of the Insta 360😂. Any ways i personally prefer the GoPro and we all know your going to do good so keep it up!!
