    What a great recipe! I followed the except for two parts: 1) I did not have anaheim peppers so I used poblano and 2) I had no grill so I set my oven to broil and put the veggies on a cast iron griddle for 5 minutes each side. This is probably the best salsa I have ever made, it really tasted like I had bought it from a restaurant! I shared it with family and everyone else loved it as well. Thank you for sharing :)

    Thanks for the video! Can't wait to make salsa with all ingredients cooked on the grill. I LOVE Italian herbs--oregano, parsley, and basil--added to my salsa and especially cilantro. No hot peppers. In fact I'm about to leave the green peppers out altogether bc of the skin. Ground cayenne and some ground garlic in addition to minced garlic cloves works great for us. All organic ingredients.

    I loved everything about this video. The production, the recipe and the final salsa. I'm lucky enough to have just about every vegetable ingredient right out out of the garden as the season comes to an end. Now, I know just what to do with all of it. Thanks!

    Finally!!! Thank you!!!!! A great authentic salsa MUST have a pinch or two of crushed or powdered CUMIN!! That is the secret ingredient other RUclips cooks leave out, even for the wonderful Mexican recipes. No need for paprika or bell peppers, your roasted chiles will have enough flavor. Other than that everything else is perfect 👌

    drop anaheim's and green peppers for: tomatillos, poblanos, serrano & habanero - also a fun add is roasted fresh in season peaches - to manage the heat! Sub fresh pineapple if peach not avail. I also like to add a bit of olive oil - enjoy!

    Nice video... Mister, I was born in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and Ive witnessed just about every variation on salsas from all over Mexico and South America... so just let me pass on a secret that none of them considered before... you take a 500,000 btu burner attached to those little 20 lb propane tanks and scatter your veggies all over your grill.. with a little control, you will have perfect fire roasted veggies in less than 30 seconds...
    you may have to cook them longer afterwardsif you enjoy your veggies cooked... I always just stopped there and left them raw...

    That's how I do mine except I just Fresno and Jalapeno. I also roast my garlic for a few mine. I might try add paprika next time. I think when I first started roasting I was losing too much tomato juice. I find myself not using as much Onion as everyone else. I rarely use half of one with 6 Romas and 2 Jalapenos, I'll experiment with using more

      Technically it can be frozen but it never turns out the same, once it's thawed.

    What took me looking through your website for 27 pages but I finally found the measurements and ingredients. Question is I know this is meant to be eaten fresh but can it be canned and preserve for later?

    • @PMGK
      @PMGK  3 года назад +1

      Let me explain, what most folks already know... At any given point, you could've clicked the 3 bars in the top right corner of the page(website) to open the side menu where you can type the name of any specific recipe in the search box. Also, if you came from RUclips, the top right corner of every video, and the first paragraph of every description of a video, has a direct link to each recipe. In answering your question, this salsa can be canned and saved for later, yes.

    • @pamelapruett7833
      @pamelapruett7833 3 года назад +1

      Okay well that's good to know that I can type in the name of the recipe

      Well I made the recipe yesterday it turned out great but it's too spicy for me so I'm going to make it again today and leave out the jalapeno pepper ended up adding a little tomato sauce because it ended up being a little dry other than that it was awesome

    I've been looking for a fire roasted salsa recipe that's chunky like this so thanks. I subbed and started watching your other vids. I'm wondering what's the shelf life for a batch of this? Can't imagine it'll last long anyway it's looks amazing!

      It will be fine for about a week in the fridge, but grab as much as you need and put the rest right back in the fridge...in other words; keep as much as you can cooled off, and just grab what you need in another bowl 😉(PS: sometimes even i have problems understanding what i mean, but hopefully you got it...i kinda did) 😊

    Looks good to me. Any suggestions to prevent tomatoes from getting a strong acid taste that can ruin such a good recipe?

    • @PMGK
      @PMGK  5 лет назад +1

      Riper tomatoes, a pinch of baking soda, cooking longer and sweeteners like mango or sliced grapes can all help cut the acid.
